Lumos has never been to a Yule ball, but that probably makes sense given he's only a first year and it's not really something they celebrate outside of this, as far as he knows anyway. It's one of the perks of being a first year, your first yule and he's genuinely excited to see how things go now that this is something he knows they can look forward to every year. Initially he was to attend with Tori and Nox, but after speaking to Demi he decided he would rather attend with her, so now he waits for her just outside the great hall. Honestly, he's lazy and doesn't really see the point of climbing all those stairs just to come all the way back down to where they would have to be anyway. He likes Demi, but he doesn't think she needs to be escorted all the way down to the great hall. She's a big girl and she can escort herself, at least that's what he thinks anyway. Besides, it will feel more important than it is and as much as he considers Demi to be a friend and he likes her, he's really only here for one reason and being with Tori and Nox would only make that one thing, one reason more difficult to deal with. So, Demi makes the most sense, and he crosses his arms over his chest and leans back against the wall as he waits for her to show up.
