Clemence was quickly beginning to feel overwhelmed with her pending NEWT level examinations and the pressure that her coach had given her to practice her floor routine because she had not even medaled at the Olympics in that part of the competition, only getting gold in the uneven bars, silver on balance beam and bronze on the vault, but she had just scraped over one of the German girls. It had been hard for her and with Arie Shaffer finishing her career soon and Kiera Potter abruptly doing the same, as she apparently was pregnant (which rather startled Clemence as she had never even had to think about the fears of pregnancy if she took her relationship further because of her small body mass). But of course, Kiera could have been a bit of an exception, she was married to a Potter after all and an ex-player of the Holyhead Harpies.
Then there was her friend, Nathaniel, who had become ever so jealous of Alexius when they had met at the gym during a celebration of one of the wins for the mens and womens teams. It was all a little uncomfortable but she fought through it and was determined not to let the drama of the gymnasts get to her. But with time and being away from her boyfriend it had been rather hard on her.
With that said, Clemence had made a promise to herself that she would take a break from it all today. She would be a normal teenage girl, lay down on the grass outside and curl up with a book and a bag of vegetables. Okay it wasn't that normal but Clemence wasn't exactly allowed to eat junk food and she was tired. So tired in fact that she had began drifting off to sleep until she was snoring loudly with a carrot in her hand a book covering her pale face.
