Letters to Mother

[Eden Silverback]

Eden walked up the stairs to the Owlery.It had been a long time since she had been up here. To long at that. She should have been sending weekly letters to mom about everything that had been going on but she had failed to do so for reasons even Eden was unsure about. Walking into the room Eden looked around at all the owls that where there. Since the flight was not long Eden picked a small one that looked like it had been waiting a long time to get out of the castle. Attaching the letter to its leg Eden walked it to the window and let it go.

Dear Mother,

I know it has been a very long time since you have heard from us. For that I am sorry a lot of things have been going on. Tohoru and I have broken up for good. It seems that he wish's to follow in the path of the Koshiba more than you ever wanted him to. He has taken Lilith to be his promised one. I know that comes as a shock to you just as much as it has come to a shock to myself. I'm not upset about this as a matter of fact I have found a new boyfriend Chase Blade he is a 7th year but he is very nice. I would like to bring him home with me when we go on break if that is ok with you. I think that you would like him very much he is everything a guy should be and I think that him and I could make this last a very long time if no one tries to destroy it. I look foreword to hearing from you soon.

[Haruhi Ater]

Haruhi was sitting in the study a cup of tea was in her hands and she was enjoying a moment of peace. Her young ones where finishing up there exams and soon they would be back here at Koshiba house. Hearing the flapping of wings Haruhi followed the sounds to see a school owl fly to her. Taking the letter from the owl and offering him a cookie Haruhi turned to the letter with out opening the parchment she knew it was from Eden the scent of jasmine was heavy on it. Reading it through Haruhi started on her reply

Sweet Eden,

I am saddened to hear about you and Tohoru falling apart it is a great sadness in your heart. Of that I am sure. I hope that you and this boy Chase are taking things slowly. He is older than you and I'm sure that he is telling you some very pretty things and you want to believe him. But you must remember that Tohoru was your first love and you may think you are over him but I'm sure that there are feelings that are still there but they are hidden. In no way am I telling you to go back to Tohoru I'm just advising you to guard your heart and don't just fall for the first boy that tells you that you have pretty eyes and such. With that my dear I will leave you to what you do best. Have care and I can not wait to meet this boy this winter.
