Katheryn walked up to the owlery, looking for her owl. She had a note for it to take to her father. He had written her that morning so she wanted to get her response sent away before her afternoon class. She beckoned her owl down from her perch, saying soothing things to it. He nipped at her fingers lovingly. Kat grinned as she handed him a treat before handing him the letter. "Hey lovely, take this to father please." she said. The owl looked at her before taking to the air and flying out the window.

Sundance was dilvering a letter. It was addressed to Kathyrn Kingsley, probably one of the fewest red headed girls that attended Hogwarts and had Jake's been questioning what was up with her lately.

Which probably means good morning in Hawaii. Not sure but anyways! How've you been? Long time no hear from you? Last time I check you was dancing the night away in the Melody? Kidding I know its my fault been busy with school and helping my darling sister move again. Its getting annoying, every weekend she moving to another country. Right now I'm in Hawaii but she loves it here and deciding to make it permanent for a while. Its great here, wish you can come! How's class? Must be a drag, I know how that feels. Well keep in touch red headed sweetness.

Katheryn was laying in her dorm room on her bed when she heard a loud rapping noise at her window. She got up off the bed, going to investigate the noise. It was an unfamiliar owl with a note adressed to her. She accepted the letter with a smile, giving the owl a treat as she read through the letter. It was hiliarious, she could almost hear Jake's voice in it. Kat grinned as she wrote a reply and sent it off with the owl.

Dear Jake,

Since when are you in Hawaii? Must be nice though with all the warm weather. Sounds like my kinda place. Why on earth are you moving so much? I'm doing pretty good. Just lonely here. Believe it or not I am not so great with making friends. But anyways, how are you? I can't believe you are writing me. I haven't heard from you in some time. Its great though, don't stop. Class is not so bad. I like the classes I still have and pretty soon I will be learning non-verbal spells! How great is that!? It's time for class! Gotta run!

It was uncle time for the day when Jake received a reply immediately from Kat. It was just three days ago he had just sent the letter out, he assume she either was bored and school wasn't going so well. He set Delilah down in her walker and search through out his sister house for a muggel pen and paper. He replied back, grinning as he gave Sundance a treat than the letter.

Dear Ula (Red),

Its not me moving its my sister. I still live in New Zealand and attend Drumstrang. You can say I sneak out most of the time, really only to make it back to Transfiguration. Professor says I have an act for that subject. Don't know why? You tell me Kat? Your the smart one here not me. (I kid again) I've been well, just hanging onto the rest of my school days. So ready to drop out but eh, my dad won't let me. Sort have a deal with him so I can't break it. Non-verbal spells? How's that going? Don't think we review for that? And if we did I must've been asleep during that lesson. How's life treating you besides the castles walls? Anything planned for the next vacation? Anyways catch you later Red! Seems my niece needs another changing.

Katheryn laughed out loud as she read her latest letter from her friend Jake. He sure was an interesting kid. She was beginning to wonder if he was going to make a habit of calling her red. She grinned as she wrote him a reply.

Dear Jake,

Everytime I get a letter from you I can't help but laugh. I fear you get sillier and sillier everyday. Actually, I know a good bit of Transfiguration. My mother is one of the transfiguration professors here and so I make sure to do extra well in that class. I like the non-verbal spells so far. They are very challenging though so I make sure to practice extra outside of class. I feel like if I don't make Head girl next year after Kiera that my family will be disappointed. Its hard having a sister like our Mrs. Potter. I wish I did have plans for the next break. Then I would at least be doing something. What about you? Any plans? Anyways gotta run!
