After her first Charms lesson, Mallory had noticed... well, a bit of disconnect with a few students. With the invitation to one especially, she'd put up an open call to the class to join her in her office after class. She took about ten minutes to set up her office- taking out her desk briefly to fill the room with comfortable chairs and couches, some tea and hot cocoa on the round, low table now in the middle of the room and several plates of cookies. Slipping into comfortable jeans and a soft sweater, Mallory walked over and opened the door to anyone standing there. "Come in, come in," She greeted. "Please. Make yourself comfortable. Grab a drink, a snack. Once everyone settles we'll begin."

Angelo was in so much trouble. And he didn't even know how much trouble. Or why he's in trouble. It must have been the wand thing that Finley had freaked out so much about. How was he supposed to know it was really supposed to look like that? Aaron's wand was spirally but it didn't point a little off to the side like his did. And it was so long that he didn't think trimming of that curved end would have much of a difference. But it must be really bad because he just got told to stay behind and oh no were they going to write his mum?! What if they called mum to the office because he was in so much trouble?! She can't afford to take time off from work to come to New Zealand and see the principal! Oh my god he was so so so dead. And to top it all off, his classmates were even present for this little talk. Should he start by saying sorry? He should start by saying sorry. "Uhm mam... I'm sorry po... I don't know I can't trim the wand. Please don't call my mother." He tried to sound as sincere as he possibly could even if he really did understand what had happened.

Mallory paused as Angelo started to immediately apologize, and turned to him with a gentle smile. "Oh, no! No, darling, you aren't in any trouble." She reassured him. "No one is going to be in trouble for not knowing something. This is a school, after all. It's our job to teach you." She waved again to the room, taking a seat in an arm chair where she could see the whole room. "Please, sit." She reiterated.

Christa hesitated outside Professor Grayveson's office, shifting nervously from foot to foot. She had been unsure about coming but was curious about the invitation and appreciated the chance to ask questions. Steeling herself, she stepped inside and was immediately comforted by the cozy atmosphere. The smell of cookies and hot cocoa filled the air and the inviting seating arrangement made her feel more at ease. "Hello, Professor," Christa said softly, offering a tentative smile as she stepped further into the room. She selected a cup of cocoa and perched on one of the couches, glancing around at the other students filtering in. She wrapped her hands around the warm mug, the heat calming her jitters as she waited for everyone to settle. She wasn't paying too much attention to what was happening with Angelo though, because he seemed to be preoccupied with the fact he thought he was in trouble.
