Sage had not been having a particularly good start back at term as it so happened. She had not exactly expected to have a brilliant year, considering the fact that she had OWLs, but she had expected it to be somewhat better than this. Sage, like the other Slytherin prefects had managed to get their wands taken off them until christmas. Which wasn't good for anyone, but considering she had OWLs, and all the other three of them had were 6th year exams, she thought it was a little unfair. Sure, at christmas she would get her wand back, but until then, she was stuck with just trying to practice spells without her wand. She had considered trying to get a new wand or something, but knowing Professor Styx and his freaky sixth sense for rule breaking, she knew that it wouldn't end well for her. So that option too was out the window. It just meant that Sage had a lot less to study currently. Not that she really studied anyway, but not having her wand, meant she had even less reason to be studying. With that said however, Sage did realise the importance of doing well in these exams that she had at the end of the year. So despite plans to just sit around in Slytherin until she could go eat, the teen decided to go out. So take a wander and hopefully end up doing something slightly better. Sage had her school bag with her, which contained a number of books.

Eventually, the Slytherin teen found herself outside the castle. It was a fairly nice day. The sun was shining and she was glad that she'd found this path outside. It was nice. It hadn't rained in a while, so she was sure the ground would be dry. The girl walked along through the grounds, but headed towards the lake front. Not enough people would come outside on a day like this she would surely be able to find peace. Somewhere to just read and not have to think about everything that had gone wrong during this semester so far. Finally she spotted a quiet spot underneath a tree, which she was certain would both be dry and also quiet. So it was exactly where she then chose to sit down. It was near enough the lake, and it was nicely silent. It was good. Sage had been feeling a lot of anger about the decision which had been made. She stood by her thoughts that slytherin had been poorly treated by the head people. They could've picked better. But of course they hadn't. Which anger her, and losing her wand made it worse. Sage knew that getting into more trouble at this point would be incredibly silly, but she couldn't help but think about it. She wanted to punch them both. She wanted to see them stripped of their titles and their wands. She wanted all the other prefects to have to deal with a head of house that rivalled Styx. Attempting to shake away some of that anger, the girl took out a random book from her bag and began to read.
