Let's have an adventure

[Professor Lyra Potter]

It was late, too late for students to be out of their dormitories as Lyra crept out of the dorm room. She had dressed in a black sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers because that's what she thought you should do when sneaking out. Or at least, that's what the movies taught her. The Gryffindor girl had convinced her fellow Gryffindor friend, Falon, to come with her to the forbidden forest for an adventure. Lyra had never been to the forest, and that really was a shame. Besides, she heard there were centaurs in the forest, and Lyra had always wanted to meet one of those. If Lyra and Falon got caught, they would definitely face some consequences. But where was the fun if there wasn't any danger?

Lyra was standing at the edge of the forest, looking at her partner in crime. "Ready, Lo?" she asked wickedly, using a nickname for Falon. Lyra was alive with excitement and ready to explore the dark forest, and the things inside of it.

The Gryffindor Fourth year couldn't resist sneaking out with her best friend, especially when said friend was so excited. What kind of friend would Falon be if she let Lyra down? That was what Falon was telling herself when the nerves kicked in. Of course, she went all out in black as well, even going as far as painting a line on each cheek. The tricky part was getting out of the castle, and the brunette knew that if they were caught, not only would she be in trouble at school, but at home as well. She could already hear her mom saying that it was something she expected from her brothers, but not Falon. Still, Falon didn't really want to miss an opportunity like this, and once they were at the edge of the Forest, excitement overtook any nerves and she grinned back at Lyra. "I was born ready." Falon laughed, before taking the hand of her friend and stepping into the Forest area. All that lay before them was dark, so Falon slipped out her wand. "Lumos." She muttered, before shining the light around the two of them.

The brunette took out her wand and commanded it to light as well. "Yes! I knew I loved you!" Lyra said excitedly as she stepped in to the forest, hand in hand with her best friend. It was true; Lyra loved both of the Urie twins. She might have met Felix first, but it didn't mean she liked him more than Falon. They were both her two best friends, along with Marcella, of course. "So Lo, how the summer? What all did you do? I know you have got at least a few great stories for me." she asked as they moved deeper in to the forest. It was pretty dark as they moved further under the cover of the trees that blocked out the moon and starlight.
