Let the games begune

Aiden walked out of the common room, scowling at everyone he saw, he then spotted Mike, Professor Rambolt and Bruin, he walked over to the group of them and sneered, "What's happening over here?" Aiden still had the letter from Isabella in his fist, he looked down at his hand and chucked it on the ground frustratedly then looked over at Bruin and raised his eye brows and said in a monotone, he was so hurt that he was unable to find the humor in this predicament Bruin seemed to be in, "You are aware that you pissed yourself aren't you?" He looked on the ground as he crossed his arms across his chest.

Bruin was anxiously awaiting Professor Rambolt's reply when Aiden made his way down the corridor towards them. Bruin didn't quite know what to make of the young Gryffindor...he wanted to like him, but there was something about the way that Aiden carried himself that Bruin didn't like. Perhaps it was just a lingering feeling from the Triwizard Tournament last year when Aiden had totally ignored what Bruin told him to do. Regardless, nothing could have prepared Bruin for the snotty little remark that Aiden cast his way. You are aware that I'll put my fist through your face if you say something like that to me again aren't you? Bruin felt like replying to the cross-armed little punk before trying to laugh it off for the benefit of the other company present.

"I didn't actually and I'd appreciate it if you didn't jump to ASS-umptions next time." Bruin replied with a little shake of his head, fearing that he may have put a little too much emphasis on the first syllable of his last word and hoping Professor Rambolt wouldn't pick up on it.

Bruin turned so that he was facing Professor Rambolt and Mike. "I think I'm just going to change now. Maybe we can bounce some ideas around later." Bruin suggested as he began heading back to his dorm room, knowing that he needed to remove himself before he said or did something that he might regret. Bruin had a very long fuse, but his temper was more explosive than most and the combination of events had pushed him perilously close to his flash point.

Aiden scoffed at Bruin's reaction to his words blowing them off completely then murmured in French, "Do you think I care, I have bigger problems then some jerk that pees himself." Aiden smirked coldly as Bruin began to leave then he leaned against the wall barely recognizing that Mike and Professor Rambolt where still there. He really didn't care if Bruin spoke French or if the others there understood it, he was so frustrated he was tempted to let them know exactly what he had said but he was too angered to speak English.

Tim overheard some first ears whisper excitedly about a lion up in the third floor corridor. Tim wasn't sure if this was the truth. He highly doubted that an actual lion was up in the corridor. None the less he headed up the many staircases.

Once he got up to the corridor he spotted Professor Rambolt and two other students which he recognised, but no names came to mind. Tim walked over to them inspecting the corridor on his way, just to check for damages. Once he was close enough he nodded to them, "What has happened here? Is it true? Was there a lion?" he asked them eagerly. He couldn't believe he missed this.

"Well that depends on what you mean..sir" Mike said unsure whether he was a new professor or not, and so added sir in mainly becuase he was unsure and didnt want to appear rude."It was apparently a prank, in the sense that it was students dressed up as a lion and not a real lion at all" Mike said as fast as he could hoping the man could understand what he just said.

Tim smiled, "Call me Tim." He didn't like 'sir' or 'Mr.' it didn't suit him. Tim then listened to the boy's explanation. "First years?" Tim pressumed, they had pulled so many pranks and it wasn't even Christmas yet.

"Thank you mr...eh..?" Tim asked indicating for the boy's name. His voice was a kind husky voice. It was friendly and he rarely shouted. "Is there any damages caused?" That would be his job, not wheter the culprits were caught. He was left to clean up the mess.

"Mike Goulding" Mike added, "I dont think there is much damage, just general misbehaviour. I would say to ask Bruin, but he's just gone back to his dorm to get changedMike said not wanting to expand that statement to save what was left of Bruin's dignity.
