Leaving footprints all over castle

Classes were over for the day and Rafael with his pack, arrived at the fourth floor where his friend had owled him to meet him at the end of their last class. The hufflepuff was curious and at the same time excited to find out what was going on. Perseas Stratis had a great talent in turning everything into a pleasurable mischief and judging from the brief note that Rafael received, something impish was going to happen really soon. Rafael casually passed in front of the library's entrance and glanced inside to see if his gryffindor friend was in there. He looked in front of him when the only thing he saw was the librarian at her booth by the entrance. As his anticipation was building, he hoped that they weren't going to get caught this time either. The two of them were pretty often up to no good but they were careful not to get busted by professors or prefects. Their mutual prefect friend was too religious when it came to her prefect duties so they couldn't count on her for covering their dirty work. They could count just on their talent to thread their way out of trouble discreetly and make good use of the network of secret passages to move unseen from one castle's location to another.
Rafael Fedorowicz wasn't once the reckless daredevil he was now but his constant association with Perseas Stratis had turned him after his likeness. Rafael checked his watch as he walked past the library's entrance once more and breathed out. Was his partner in crime caught already?

Perseas left a note at the desk he was using with Rhiannon for their revision sessions in the library. The few scribbled lines on that sheet of parchment were claiming a fake, sudden sickness and a brief apology for not making it for today's session. Perseas was almost feeling bad for lying to her as he walked away but there wasn't any other excuse he could use to avoid revision. He needed to do something reckless, something out of the ordinary. He was going to flip out if he was spending another back-to-back afternoon in the library. He wanted to find himself once more and be the once carefree guy who was constantly flirting with trouble. This was why he had called to arms his best friend Rafael. He was the only one who could remind him what was fun and Perseas had something special in his bag that was going to make this afternoon memorable.

He stepped out of the library and his grey eyes spotted immediately his best friend walking down the corridor. "Psst!" he called in a whisper while they were still outside the library and approached his friend. "Let's don't linger here while Rhiannon could show up. Follow me." he took the lead and turned around a corner to reach an abandoned classroom. He opened the door for Rafael to step in and closed it behind them once he entered as well. "I'm supposedly ill at the dormitory so let's just don't hit on her." he explained the secrecy behind their meeting. He immediately started rifling the content of his bag, searching for something special. "I got what we were talking about last time. The owl arrived just yesterday." he beamed excitedly and pulled out of the bag a dark purple box. Gold letters on it read: Beginners Potion-making kit. Perseas proceeded and opened it. The box had a velvet cushion and placed on it were a set of different shape and size vials. "Ta-da!" he presented it to Rafael and chuckled when he witnessed disappointment on his friend's face.
