Sara sighed, enjoying the time she had left in England. As a special treat they had taken her to London for the weekend before they were to head back home in Rome. She glanced around her. As usual her parents had gone off to do something and had told Sara to stay here, at this coffee shop. She looked around her a little uncertainly. This was never a good idea but clearly her parents must not have gone too far. She just stared at her own book she'd brought along. Her mother and father had told her they shouldn't be long. She ordered a hot chocolate in the meantime and was soon lost in her book. She was trying really hard to be fluent in English - her parents had bought her piles of books so she could get there before she went away to Hogwarts. Thankfully they told her to absorb as much of the language as she could before next year. She loved them very much for helping her, she would hate to feel lost. She had a suspicion she was close to understanding it, with a couple more English lessons she would be able to converse with anyone from New Zealand. After taking a sip of her hot chocolate, Sara opened the children's story of Alice in Wonderland and began to mutter the words on the page.

<SIZE size="50"><FONT font="Lucida">Matt glanced at his father, who had brought him out here along because he had a business meeting with an Italian couple while his mother was travelling, she had said something about going to Croatia so Matt had just shrugged and sent a letter to his sister to see how she was doing. He hoped well, the last time she sent a letter in return it hadn't gone down that great with his parents. Matt was told not to bring his guitar so instead he had brought his iPod that had wizard bands that Matt was fond of. His dad told him to stay at the coffee shop next door and so he had gotten a table for himself and when a girl around his age walked in his gaze followed her until she sat down. She looked a little nervous. Might as well see who she was and what she was doing here to pass the time. It couldn't hurt. Matt stood up from his own table and walked over to the girl's booth before sitting down opposite her, probably giving her a fright. "You enjoying that?" He said, nodding towards her hot chocolate. The boy leaned back in his seat, watching the brunette. He came here because he was bored and he wanted to chat to somebody. It just so happened that this girl was here at the same time as he was.

Sara jumped at the voice and then stared at the boy in front of her. He looked awfully familiar but she could not place her finger on it. He asked her something and she almost spit out her hot chocolate at what he'd asked. Of course she was enjoying it, why else would she be drinking it in the first place? She nodded quickly and glanced at her book before going back to it. If this guy was going to be annoying then so be it. She wondered why she remembered him though and the question was burning in the back of her mind so she decided to ask. "I'm sorry...who are you?" She asked a little uncertain. Sara had to be sure but she was not about to converse with this stranger - he was alone and although he looked around Sara's age she knew better than to trust he was being nice just for the sake of being nice. "I swear we've met before." She cocked her head to the side observing him.

Matt smirked. She was adorable. It took him a moment to think about where they've met. Then he remembered. He nodded. "Yeah, we have. Our parents know each other." Matt had no idea if this girl was magical like her siblings, as Matt's parents had told him all about the Benivieni's. Their parents had been friends, they used to be neighbours and became lifelong friends. He wondered why he'd never met any of the older children before now though. He couldn't remember her name. "I'm Matt Rosemary. Sara right? I think we're going to the same school next year." Matt was known for knowing things about other people that creeped them out. He smiled at her reaction, amused. Wasn't this fun, making her wonder how on earth he knew all of this. "In case you're freaking out, please don't. My parents tell me what I need to know." That was true. His parents never failed to give opportunities for him to meet new people and make friends. He sincerely hoped he hadn't made a mistake and that she was in fact magical like him. "I think our parents are having a meeting together somewhere," he told her.

Sara rolled her eyes. This guy had some nerve if he found this amusing. She certainly didn't. She hadn't liked him very much the first time they met and this being the second time only she doubted she'd feel as if she'd made a new friend after today. Enemy, maybe, but even that was too strong of a word. Matt was simply annoying and she hoped he would leave sometime soon which meant she would too. But, as long as their parents were having a good time discussing work or whatever it was they were doing, Sara was stuck with this dude. "I mean, if you're talking about boarding school in New Zealand, then yes." Her tone made what Matt just said sound obvious and she wasn't in the least bit sorry if she made him feel like he was stupid. Right now this guy was trying to be cool and it was definitely not working. "So do mine. Except they never mentioned anything other than you being magical, like me."
The girl had no idea what else to say because she wasn't exactly sure if she made it clear that she wasn't in the mood to talk to him. Quite the contrary. She honestly didn't care if she was being rude but it wasn't her fault he got on her nerves this easily. "And anyway, do you have any siblings?" That was random. Asking questions was always a way to pass time though. She didn't say anything else to let him talk, even when that was the last thing she wanted right now, for Matthew to talk to her.

After spending time in uncle Donavon's manor, Sybil and her mother Chyou went down to London city to check on the family's potion shop. Sybil's mother had an urgent meeting with her fellow Scitoraris and Sybil had to wait in the city alone. She didn't mind, after all she knew her way around. The young girl decided to get in a cafe and ordered an avocado salad to the filthy muggle and made her way to the seat on the corner left and placed her potion text book on the table. Her mother had put a charm on the book so that the book appear to be a story book to muggles. The young girl flipped the pages and started to memorize the ingredients in her mind. She pictured of herself mixing several herbs, experimenting what kind of potion it would turned out to be. Suddenly a conversation of two people who seemed to be on Sybil's age mentioned about Hogwarts, she eyed them assuming that they came from magical families, though she didn't recognize them. The brown eyed girl then continued reading her book and ignored the two.

Matt was more amused by the second. "Don't roll your eyes at me, Sara, you know we are both bored and have nothing better to do..." He trailed off at her change of attitude, come on the boy couldn't be that bad. He smirked. "Hogwarts, yes." He leaned in his seat, eager to get to know the girl better. She wasn't friendly or a flirt and Matt loved annoying her. He knew he would make sure to make her irritable as many times as he wanted during the next seven years. "I have an older sister," he told her, shrugging, the infamous smirk still on his face as his eyes met hers. It wasn't hard to notice another girl enter the café by herself. She looked around Matt's age. Why not go say hi. He stood up, announcing "I'll maybe be right back" before making his way over to her side. She seemed worse off than his friend Sara. "Saw you watching. Want to join us?" Matt wasn't in the slightest trying to be sarcastic or anything. In fact this was his attempt at being friendly. He was not able to manage more than this however, it was as nice as he got.

There was one potion that interested Sybil the most it was Potion No 07. Mainly because it was still an experimental potion and could be dangerous. Having potioneer family for generation made her want to experiment on potions that yet to be discovered or completed. She was then interrupted by the boy who came over to her table. She glared at him coldly and slammed her book to the table. "Glancing and watching have two different definitions though people may assume that they're the same thing. The duration explains why these two words mean differently. Firstly no, I wasn't watching. I did not pay attention to every movement of yours. Secondly, it is best for us to sit separately and end this conversation before you get yourself in trouble. To conclude this conversation, no I will not join you" Sybil continued to glare at the boy hoping for him to feel uncomfortable and leave her alone. Unlike Lycus who was extremely quiet, Sybil enjoyed arguing with the intention of making the other party feel uncomfortable and would leave her and her peaceful moment on their own.

I thought I'll just reply

Yeah sorry, had no connection xD

"Why do boys have to be so annoying," she mumbled to herself, expecting the boy in front of her to hear her. If he had left her alone she would never have - oh wait, he was leaving. Or so she thought. Sara sighed, rolling her eyes once again at his audacity to walk up to some girl and invite her over. The brunette got up, seriously tired from today and annoying Matt, so she went over to the other girl's table and huffed at his choice of words. Sara finally snapped. "Dude. Get over yourself. You're just clearly annoying her. Is he bothering you?" She turned the question on the girl, who had a cold glare on her features. Sara didn't blame her. Anyone got fed up with Matthew. She was clever though, as she listened to her words from before. She liked her already, even when she seemed a difficult person to deal with. Who wouldn't be when confronted with Matt himself. He was a nuisance. "Before you say anything else, Matt, remember that I'm not your friend." With that and a last glance at the girl he decided to go bother, Sara went back to her own table and sat down, picking up her forgotten book and reading once more.
