Vader had taken on the lessons on skateboarding that Abian had taught him. He'd begun doing a lot of work with it during the holidays because it gave him something to work on even when he was in the muggle world. He didn't spend too much time around the parks and old haunts of his time before magic. But, after a little fun with being a little to close to them, he had decided to get his parents to take him to brightstone, where he could have a little bit of fun. Where he could practice skateboarding, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the magical world. Where he had more friends than anything and he could just enjoy himself. The boy was slow, and he was wrapped up in a thick warm jumper that also worked to break his falls. He was getting better at it, still a little slow and unstable but getting where he needed to be. He could usually move around on it a little, no tricks yet, but he was almost completely confident in just riding it. He was immensely thankful that Abian had taken the time to teach him, since Vader was loving it. He couldn't imagine anything more fun than that. Maybe quidditch was that fun too? Maybe he should give it a try? The gryffindor was riding the skateboard up the street, a smile on his face and his concentration kept. He'd get more natural at this too, the more he did it, but for now he was just happy riding along and going at the slow pace he was. The magical world was a good place to practice this sort of thing. No one had yet bothered him in that world.

Vegeta Arai was looking for something to do, and realized that he was bored. With his brother watching over him, in a distant way, Vegeta found it hard to do anything other than 'trying to behave'. However, the Gryffindor saw someone that he recognized as Vader from his dorm. And he was on some muggle contraption. Ugh, what an insult. Vegeta smirked as he got out his wand. Wait, he was not in school and he didn't want to get in trouble with the Ministry. He put it back. No, he would have to get physical. He ran up to the kid and gave a huge shove. Laughing, Vegeta ran off, hoping that the kid was hurt. He left the scene, hunting down something else to do while his twin would pick up the mess.

Vader had been minding his own business when out of the blue, he felt someone shove him, hard enough that Vader became unbalanced and fell off the broom hard. He landed with a thud to the ground, only looking in the direction of the assailant as he heard the boy laughing and running away. Vader didn’t really move from where he sat on the ground, he knew he’d had a couple of bruises and his hands were a little torn but otherwise he was fine. He just couldn’t will himself to move. He could definitely feel tears forming and he was trying his best to just find the motivation to move, but he couldn’t he was just sat there with tears in his eyes and wondering why someone had done that. Maybe it had been a mistake, he didn’t know. The way the person had laughed after hadn’t seemed like it would be a mistake. He was a little disappointed that it had happened, the magical world had always been so kind, and this one person wouldn’t change that for Vader.
