Myrtle Wand 15 1/2inches. Core - Tail hair of Charmed Newt
- Full Name: Laura Agnes O'Connor

- Birth Date: 3rd December 2008

- Current Age: 12 years old.

- Basic Appearance: Laura has light brown, wavy, unstyled hair, and shockingly blue eyes. She stands at about 5 ft 3 inches; she's tall for her age. Laura also tends to get a few spots on her face, but they don't concern her.

- Parents:
Michael O'Connor was Laura's father. He's a half-blood; his mother was a pure-blood witch who died when he was young. He's hard-working and loyal, but brave as well (he's a former Gryffindor). He dotes on Laura, and would do almost anything for her and her sister Joanne.

Ann O'Connor (maiden name Hennessy) was Laura's mother. She was a Muggle, and she lived on the same street as Michael when they were young. She has a sneering, cranky nature; it was rare when she smiled. This character trait was only shown after she and Michael were married, when he told her he was a wizard. Laura wasn't very fond of her.

NOTE: Both parents are deceased, as of September 2020.

- Siblings, if any:
Joanne O'Connor is Laura's elder sister. She's ninteen, and working in the Ministry as part of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. She was a former Gryffindor also, and hated her mother growing up, moving out as soon as she turned seventeen. She's very fond of Laura, and the two girls are close.

- Pets, if any:
Laura has an owl called Hestia (formerly Swiftwings; she renamed her after her family's pet owl), who is a barn owl.

- Area of Residence:
Laura lived with her parents in Cork City, Ireland, but has now moved to a smaller town called Fermoy, still in Ireland.

- Blood status:
Mixed blood, seeing as her dad was a half-blood, and her mum was a Muggle.

(If your character is a sorted student:)
- Hogwarts House (And why): Laura is a Gryffindor, because she will follow what her heart will tell her to do, and will stand up for her friends if they're in trouble.

- Best school subjects (And why):
Laura's best subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts, because she doesn't like Dark Arts and the people who use them.

Laura has only had one Astronomy lesson, but she thinks she will enjoy it because she likes watching the night's sky and has expressed curiosity about the stars and planets.

- Worst school subjects (And why):
Laura's worse subject is Herbology. She doesn't think that plants have any relevence to the "real world", but she sticks with it because she knows it will help her on her way to achieve her dream of becoming an Auror.

(all characters:)
- What would their Patronus be?
Laura's Patronus would be a German Shepherd dog, because of her likeable, eager-to-please nature.

- What would their Boggart be?
Her Boggart would be her sister dying in front of her.

- What would their Animagus form be (If they ever were to become one)?
A German Shepherd, for the same reasons as above.

- What would your character see if he/she looked in the Mirror of Erised?
She would herself being promoted to Head of the Auror office.

- What memory could they use to create a Patronus?
The memory of her mother actually getting along with her sister.

- Write an example roleplay by your character:
Laura's schoolbag felt heavy as she pulled out her keys to open the front door of her home. Of course it did; it was her last day at her primary school, and she had to take everything she owned home.

Memories of her friends flooded her mind as he trudged upstairs to unpack her bag.

"W-we'll miss you Laura!" Anna cried, hugging her friend, tears streaming down her face.

"We all will," Fiona said, in slightly better shape than Anna, but her voice was shaky.

Emma drew her friend aside and handed her a bracelet.

"Wear this," she said firmly, "And remember us, even if you're going to the other side of the world."

Laura fingered the words engraved on the little chain.

"Laura, Emma, Fiona and Anna; Best friends forever..." she whispered, tears forming in her eyes. She mouthed a thank you and gave her friends one last hug before the bell rang. Smiling and waving at the people calling goodbyes, Laura left for home, the tears flowing silently.

Laura didn't tell her friends what she was, or what school she was going to; how could she? They would never understand.

How could I?

The tears came again, tears of sadness and loss. The pain was made worse by knowing the fact that she would never see her friends again.
