Signy could hardly believe that this was her final semester at school. She’d spent the holidays at school rather than at home - somewhat selfishly because she really wanted to be able to absorb the last few months at school. It was sad that she would be leaving, sad that there had been so much work done in the years at school, sad that she had built so much of a life here at school for herself and it would all just stop. She could figure that was generally a part of life, but it felt pretty abrupt. However it was also in quite a while too, there were months between then and now and she just had to make the most of it. Signy had decided that given the warm summer sunshine she didn’t really want to spend too much time indoors, so she’d come outside, was sat amongst the full bloom of summer flowers in the gardens. It was nice, there was a light breeze preventing it from being too warm. She laid out her robes and sat down upon it. She’d brought a few books, some revision for those NEWTs at the end of the year, but Signy was just looking forward to being able to study while relaxing in the sun.
