It's so plain, maybe I could dye it! =)
Tracy had never been a fan of potions, no matter how much he loved to cook. He tried to get there on time, but, unfortunately, he was almost always late. Of course, today when they were partnering up, he was extreamly late. His hair was a bit messy, as if he hadn't brushed it; sometimes he liked it that way. He entered the classroom with no ambition and a yawn, as the teacher yelled at him and he sat down. He looked around, everyone seemed to be partnered up with someone, so of course, she found the only person that wasn't partnered up to be with him. Tracy took one look at him, and nearly did a double take. For years now he had been in the closet, too embarrassed and scared to come out. But, what he thought, no one would know. He had of course, seen this boy around. He was cute, more then cute, he was beautiful. Tracy hid the blush on his face with his fringe, and then walked over next to him.

"Hi..." He muttered, trying not to seem obvious. He took a seat, nearly missing his chair. God, he was so stupid sometimes. So he stopped trying and just leaned on the desk.

Leonardo could never say that potion was his strongest subject. His strongest subject would probably be Transfiguration class, but Potion wasn't much of a big deal for Leonardo. He tried his best and when he did, Leonardo would end up getting O's. Today lessons was on a sleeping draught, something complicated as this required the help of another sets of hands. Leonardo sat up quickly and noticed not many partner were left from him to end up with.
He turn his gaze when the professor assign him to Tracy Daniels. "Ahllo" Leonardo smile at the boy who he always notice to be the last one entering the classroom. Leonardo noticed him a lot these days, after recent events. Well he couldn't help but stare at the boy. "Guess were partners?" Leonardo smiled, thankful for the Professor's selection. He folded his hands in front of him, the Professor going over the lesson again. Leonardo peaked now and than over at Tracy. He couldn't help but notice how cool looking he dressed. Tracy had more style than Leonardo simple laid back "due". Leonardo turn slightly when he was caught staring a bit.

Tracy tried to seem less nervous, but, he couldn't help it. Whenever he found someone attractive, he would always get nervous. there weren't many men out there that would accept a homosexual as a friend, let alone if the guy was attractive. He tapped his hand on the deks, his black nail polish chipping on some fingers. he had let his mind wander just a bit last night, when he had started to pick at them. That would be his new years resolution, to not pick or bite at his nails anymore. He smiled a little bit at him. "Do you get what he's saying?" He asked. He never understood what the teacher was saying. He hated to ask for help, but, he thought that this boy wasn't going to bug him about it.

"I can manage a little my french a little off" Leonardo made a confused expression. The professor kept saying something about cutting a part of a plant this way instead of that way. If you cut it wrong it won't come out the way you want it too. "Potion sucks" Leonardo chuckle, his eyes rolling at the side. "What's your name again?" he lean slightly whispering so the professors won't see them talking. "I'm Leonardo" he introduced himself to the less talkitive boy right next to him. "You are?"

Tracy giggled a little man-giggle and sighed. "I know french, I just don't get why he's saying that we need to cut it this way, what's the difference. I hate potions." Tracy had always been a quiet kid, and could whisper really well. He smiled a little bit. "T-Tracy." He stuttered slightly, mostly because he wanted to make sure he had good volume control. He smile and extended his hand under the desk for the boy to shake. But, before that, he wiped it on his black jeans, just to make sure that it wasn't sweaty. Because, for some strange and unknown reason, he was nervous.

"Leonardo or Leo for short" Leonardo shook his hand. He went back to listening what the professor was saying, now it was time to do the assignment. "You caught every word of that? I think I've did" he turn back to Tracy. It wasn't a simple potion, highly difficult. Just needed those hands he was promise. Or else he sure to be getting an "A" for this lesson. Not acceptable for his mother Maria. "Should we get started? The faster we get this done the faster we get out of here" Leonardo stood to gather the ingredients. A few horns were laid spread in front of the classroom. Leonardo waltz over towards the table to gather the best one out of there. "Ah, got the best one in the pile" he turn back to Tracy showing the horn. "Think a good crack in the middle and it would be good to go" he smile sheepishly at Tracy.

Tracy's pale, chubby face lit up into a smile. His stomach erupted into butterflies, but Tracy refused to make it known. He wasn't going to let anyone know, why should he? Tracy had seen the way people would treat guys like him, calling them f@ggots and such; he wasn't going to let that happen. So instead he nodded, and helped Leo to gather the ingredients. Tracy had a plan to listen to everything that Leo told him to do, because even though he knew french, he didn't 'understand' his teacher. Tracy looked at it and nodded, pretending to know what this guy was talking about, meanwhile his eyes looked over the horn; what was it? "Allow me!" He said, trying to seem like he knew what he was doing, during this part, he kind of did. He would always just pretend he was cooking when he had to chop stuff; and chopping stuff became the part he was good at.

"Sure" Leonardo let Tracy take over the chopping of the horn. While Leonardo did the setting of the water and drops of ingredients inside the potion. "I think after this it will be done" he looked over at Tracy. There will be no more lessons after potions. Leonardo would be bored since most've his friends weren't really at this school. Most were back home, instead of France. "Are you from here Tracy? Or are you from another country?" Leonardo asked while he mix the content together. It be best he made another friend, especially someone like Tracy. He really was different from Leonardo, different and oh so cute.

Tracy smiled, and tried to concentrate on cutting the plant, he was very distracted and he knew why. Tracy had always known why he got nervous around boys like Leonardo. The cute ones always made him want to run away. Since he was ten, he had known he was gay; of course he'd never tell anyone about it. His family, what would they do if they found out. Those thoughts made him nervous again. He had finished cutting the horn, which was a god thing. He knew that he didn't have the best cutting skills when he was nervous, he'd probably slice his finger off. He smiled and handed it to him for him to do what he needed with it. "Yeah, I am from here. But, i lived in America for a very long time before coming here." He said with a slight smile. That was why he didn't talk like a Frenchman. "You?"

Leonardo grabbed hold of the shredded horn, he sort of blushed when he felt Tracy hand against his. "Well ummm, no I'm not" he said a little more nervous but the feeling past quickly either way. "I'm from Italy, I'm half Italian have Spainard" he said pushing content inside the potions.
The potion changed colors, indication that it worked. "I could've gone to Hogwarts Scotland but I got accepted here..." the potion made a little bubbly sounds, now all they had to do was wait. "France is beautiful, beautiful settings, everything beautiful" he laughed a little. "But Italy way better, you should visit it one day" he bragged a little about his home country. Especially since he lived near vineyards and his family country side restaurant just beneath their home.

Tracy tried hard to keep his head strait while giving him the horn. It was as if a spark was sent through his fingertips. He put his hands on his knees, and rubbed the material a bit. He calmed down after a few seconds and was able to listen to what Leo had to say. Italy, it had always been a country of interest to Tracy; every country was though. Tracy wanted to travel the world. He smiled a bit. "I would love to see it some day." He said with a smooth tone. "I actually want to travel the world, the way I've got it planned out is that I get a signature from one person of interest in every country." He said with a smile.

Tracy was a bit shaken up by his need to say that. He had really never been that honest with anyone. This had to mean something, maybe Leonardo was special? No, he wouldn't think like that, that would get him in trouble with himself. "Do you like it here?" He asked.

"I don't mind it, I mean like I said the scenery its beautiful" Leonardo smiled faintly at Tracy. "I think that's fascinating you want to travel the world. Will you be doing that after school?" Leonardo asked him. He didn't know what else to say about France. He had been a little negative since breaking up with Joshua happen, and his relationship with a girl name Mia had went downhill. If his mother knew about this he wouldn't be staying in France to finish the rest of his years at this Academy. "France must be different from America? What part did you live in?" Leonardo asked him.

He smiled a little bit, and nodded his head some. "I would love to. There are so many places that I would love to see." He let his smile get a little bit bigger. He didn't really know what to say to Leonardo until he asked about America, what area he had lived in. "Well, at first I lived over in California, but, something happened, and my parents moved us to Montana. We were right along the Canadian border. It was really beautiful, we had a stable... so many trees." He sighed with content, he actually missed it sometimes. "When is the teacher coming?" He asked impatiently.

"I dunno but I think he's busy talking to someone at that table" Leonardo looked over. The professor was showing someone how to bang the horn the right way. "Well you know what its getting slow here..wanna ditch" he smile at Tracy with a wicked smirk. "He won't notice class about to be over and I'm getting cramp because of this spinning" Leonardo laughed, his Italian accent never leave his tongue. "What say you Tracey ready to leave?" he asked.

Tracy looked over. It was the worst part about class, always having to wait on the teacher to leave, he looked back at Leonardo. "You know, I've never heard a better idea." He smiled a little bit and watched the teacher moving to the next table to give some instructions. Tracy stood up slowly, and he looked at Leonardo. He was just waiting for him to stand so that they could get out of this boring place.

"I knew you would like that" Leonardo chuckle as he watched Tracy stand up and slipped away close to the door. "Oh man if we get caught were so busted" Leonardo laughed standing up, he just about slipped by the professor back when he manage to get away he, went right besides Tracy. "Go! Go! Go!" he laughed but instead of running he grabbed Tracy arm and apparated down a few corridors away from the classroom. "You know that would've been a lot smarter remind me later to get my head checked out" Leonardo chuckle than started to walk normally with his hands stuffed inside his jean pockets. "Eh its no big deal for me I'm passing with double E,s" Leonardo spoke causal now, feeling a lot better.

Tracy had been smiling, until Leo grabbed his arm. He had apparated before, with other people that was. He still hadn't passed his test, or taken it. He blushed a light shade of pink, which, on his cheeks, came out as a bright red. That close of contact with him made him shiver. In his stomach many butterflies erupted, his hands became sweaty, and he had to look at his feet to calm down. Why was it that Leo could make him feel that way. He smiled a little bit more. "Really? Not me, I'm almost failing with a D." He laughed a little bit and looked at him, putting his own hands in his pockets. "What now?" He asked.

"Ummm you ever had a slurpie and grapes slice added to it? I know a stand not to far from the school walls. Its where the shops are located but this person works outside" Leonardo suggested heavenly loving Tracy company more and more. "Its up to you if your all about the rules or not? We can apparate right there without problems and I promise after we can come back" Leonardo said with his hand raised like he was swearing an oath. Though he had mischief glint in his eyes but he couldn't help wanting to be around this new boy. "It be fun you know" he smile more with a warm gaze instead of the glint in his eyes.

Tracy listened to the drink that Leo was talking about. until he heard the rest of the suggestion, he was confused on what had brought that up. He honestly had never had a slurpie, they hurt his teeth because he had braces up until two months ago. But, he was feeling brave, and if it meant spending time with his new found crush friend, then he would stand the pain. "Really?" He smiled widely, almost like the cheshire cat. "I just skipped potions with you, why on earth would I not leave school?" He asked with a slight laugh.

"Well you know how some people are" Leonardo laughed with Tracy. He grabbed his arms and they apparated out of the school. They end up appearing somewhere next to a French cold frap shop. "Its right there, its not as cold. They even have smoothies if you prefer it?" he asked his new found friend. "Just let me know, its on me" he order a drink and waited to see what Tracy would want. He had order what he suggested, he remembered having them with Mia. Hmmm, he grew sad when he thought about Mia. She just kept coming into mind, he wished he had someone to talk about this sort of stuff.

Tracy felt awkward, no one to watch them. No one to tell them what they could and couldn't do. "I'll have what you're having, and let me buy." He said with a smile. Tracy didn't like people paying for him, he had been that way since he was little. He wanted everyone to be taken care of, instead of taking care of him. He had once told someone that, and they said it was because he didn't want people to see what he could really be. He didn't think that was true. He smiled at Leo, glad that he couldn't read his thoughts, he hoped he couldn't anyways.
