Open Last but not least

Teddy had never taken Halloween costumes particularly seriously, last year he had gone as a frog for example. But this year being his last, he decided to go all out and with his dads help had created a costume he was really proud of. The spider on his head moved and scurried around his body as Teddy stood watching the party. It felt kind of nice being behind a mask, and he didn't think anyone was going to talk to him while he looked at all the goings on. He thought about getting a drink but he had no idea how he was going to be able to drink or eat anything right now.

Fiona wasn’t sure if she had wanted to go to the Halloween feast but had decided to last minute. Mostly because of she didn’t go there was no other option for dinner and she had missed lunch. She didn’t have a costume specifically but she figured if she messed up her hair and she could at least pretend to be an enchantress or something. It wasn’t good as far as costumes went but it was something.
She stepped into the hall and was actually supposed. She let her eyes relax into the dim lighting as she took in the details. Before making our way to the snack table. She had just loaded her plate up with snacks when something moved beside her causing her to jump and drop half of it in the floor. She had thought it had just been a decoration but the spider had moved. Looking closer she realised it wasn’t a decoration but a person. wow you scared me. That spider is creepy. It’s a good costume she said before stooping to pick up her dropped food and looking to see if there was a bin or anything nearby.
