Bio: Kyousuke grew up as a third generation Japanese in New Zealand to a home of a modest income. His father is a primary school teacher at a local school, his mother leaving when him and his sister, Kanako, were younger. Little is known about their mother's whereabouts and Kyousuke resents her for leaving. Kyousuke grew up more in the muggle world than the magical, his father being a muggle himself. He therefore feels somewhat out of his depth at the idea of going to Hogwarts. He cares a lot about his younger sister, though he finds her annoying at times. Kyousuke hopes to set himself as a good role model for when she goes to Hogwarts.
Kyousuke found himself drawn to the arts from a young age, specifically theatre. He’s a driven, capable student who is under pressure from his father to succeed – a pressure that he copes with well, given his own desire to do the same.
