[name] Kristophoros Atlas Turner

[etymology] The name Christopher means to carry Christ which gives the impression of a well-working and loyal person. This is true as Kris is a very loyal person. The name Atlas also has connotations of bearing great weight or carrying a heavy burden. This is also true as Kris feels pressured by his family to do good and what is right. Turner also means hard working.

[origin] The last name Turner comes from England and is a fairly common name. Kris' father was a muggle-born wizard so the Turner family are nearly all Muggles, while his mother's side were all Bloomstone's. Apart from Kris' mother, all the other Bloomstone's have died out. The Bloomstone family originated from Canada.

[nicknames] To save hassle Kristophoros tells everyone to call him Kris or Kristos. He dislikes his middle name so apart from his family, no one else knows of this.

[alliance] Kris' alliance is on the side of good and all other good beings.

[birth-date] Kris was born on October 13th 2024 in a Canadian Hospital.

[dialects] Kris, has lived in many places, is fluent in three different languages. Growing up he lived in Quebec, a French province so his native language is French Canadian, but after his parents went missing, his sister Tamara, took him to live with her in England, where he quickly learned English. He also stayed with his aunt, who spoke Yiddish, an old Jewish dialect.

[home-town] Kris, originally from Quebec, lived in a small town, and the family house was rather large, seeing as ten of them lived there. They also had a house-elf but during an attack by some dark wizards the house went up in flames and the family split apart. His parents are still missing.

[residency] He currently lives with Alec his eldest brother, Tamara his sister and Gretel his great-aunt, in a house in Napier, New Zealand. The house-elf, Saffy, is also there. There is a basement which is magically extended and the attic is out of bounds due to a Boggart.

[heritage] Kris is a mix of Canadian and English. His mother was from a Canadian wizarding family, and his father was a muggle-born from England. Overall Kris identifies himself as Canadian.

[blood status] His mother was a pure-blood but his father was a muggle-born resulting in him being a half-blood.

[health status] Kris has a medical condition called Alexandria's Genesis which means he was born with grey eyes,but after six months, his eyes began to change colour to purple. During puberty the purple colour will deepen to a royal purple or violet colour but for now he hides it with blue contacts. This also means he will never grow facial hair, except for eyebrows and eyelashes.

[allergies] Kris is allergic to Billywig stings, if stung he will hover for an indefinite period of time. Luckily he has never been stung, but this also means he can't eat Fizzing Whizbees.

[personality] Kris is a street-wise boy whose past is full of confusion. He doesn’t bring it up but it has affected his perspective of life. Though his parents went missing while he was five and his siblings split up, Kris managed to find his sister and great-aunt. Having grown up with them he then faced many house moves until they finally settled in New Zealand along with his brothers. Kris has a good sense of character most of the time, and he trusts people he feels are trust worthy. He also tries hard to impress.

[beliefs] Knowledge is the greatest weapon.

[boggart] Kris' Boggart would be him in a small space, getting smaller and smaller.

[fears] As well as being trapped and alone, he also has a fear of fire, as on the night his parents went missing the family home was set on fire and he was trapped upstairs until Saffy the house-elf saved him.

[likes] Kris likes to read Muggle books when he has the chance and he likes to note how they sometimes write about magic as if they understand it. Muggles fascinate him. Kris also likes Quidditch and wishes to play as a beater. Kris also likes to cause mischief, whether this is misplacing items, minor potions or small spells.

[dislikes] those who pick on those smaller than themselves. This is who he solely bases his mischievous wrath on, but he'd never try to harm them. That'd make him no better than the bullies.

[goals] Kris wants to pass every subject and then find his parents.

[good habits] Being mindful of what people like.

[bad habits] Trying to shrink away when nervous or playing with clothes.

[strengths] Kris' strengths come from his experiences in his life. He almost died the night his parents went missing, trekked across Quebec with a house-elf looking for his family and was almost killed again by some Grindylow when he fell into a lake. From this he has a great sense of endurance and knows his limits. His intelligence comes mostly from books, but having grown up in a wizarding family, life experiences help.

[weaknesses] Kris would only curse someone if he had to, he'd rather avoid duelling and physical confrontation. This may effect his learning as he'd have to practice stunning and disarming on others. He also is rather skinny as he does not eat much. He lacks the ability to let things be and always wants them to better.

[loyalties] Kris' loyalties lie within his family and friends.

[magical talents] Kris possesses strong knowledge in Divination, due to his great-aunt being a seer, Potions due to his sister, and Care of Magical Creatures, due to his love of animals and books, he also possess the ability to preform freezing spells way too advanced for his age.

[other talents] Kris is a skilled pick-pocketer and is great at acting. He can get himself out of sticky situations well and can judge a person's character. Kris also likes to write and has kept a diary since the fire.

[Chinese year] Kris' Chinese year, being born in 2024, makes him a dragon. People born under the dragon year are dominant and ambitious. They live by there own rules and willing to take risks. While Dragon-born people frequently help others, rarely will they ask for help.  Others are attracted to Dragons, especially their colourful personalities, but deep down, Dragons prefer to be alone. Perhaps that is because they’re most successful when working alone. Dragons have tempers that can flare fast! They are most compatible with Monkeys and Rats.

[zodiac sign] Kris' zodiac sign is Libra, the scales. Being a Libra makes him analytical and committed. The other aspects which are true to Kris include diplomatic, graceful, peaceful, idealistic and hospitable. The negative aspects include being superficial, vain, indecisive and unreliable. Children of Venus possess the power of attraction.  We automatically feel better about ourselves when we’re in their presence.  We feel more attractive, artistic, sophisticated, and romantic.
