Elt wished she'd been assigned a few more professors in her deliveries, for they were much simpler to find. Seeing as she was on the ground floor, the part-goblin checked first the great hall, and finding him absent went on to knock on the professor's common room door. Her little fist scarcely reached as high as the handle, but she banged on the wood loudly and repeatedly until someone came to see her.

Jon felt like a change of pace that afternoon, choosing to brew a relaxing cup of herbal tea instead of a cup of strong coffee. He felt as if relaxing was more important in light of recent events in the school. Especially since he had yet to adjust to Avie's death and the fact that someone he thought he knew so well was gone forever. As that thought appeared in his mind he dismissed it, glad when the sound of someone knocking on the door of the professor's common room distracted him. He quickly walked to the door and opened it, hoping the person on the other side wouldn't cause him too much stress. "Are you alright?" He said to the small child, after realizing exactly how small they were.

Elt was knocking so enthusiastically that when the door opened she nearly punched Jonathan in the leg. Managing to catch her fist just in time, she lowered it and smiled. "Yes! Where is... Jon-ah-thun?" she asked, consulting her note for the correct pronunciation.

Jon smiled at the tiny person when they said they were alright. The smile on his face did not fade as they said his name. "That would be me." He answered, hoping that this student truly did not have any issues as the last time someone so young asked for him they had needed his help. The only difference was that this student was much smaller.

"Hmmmm," said Elt, regarding the big tall man suspicioualy through narrowed eyes. He had better not have been pretending to be Jon-ah-thun to receive a nice rose. Still, he had a kind face, even if it did have those strangely out of proportion features all humans seemed to possess, and she decided to trust him. With a smile she held up for him a yellow rose, its small note wrapped around the stem. "This are your flower," she told him with a nod.

S'up Jon,
You make the most delicious brownies.
Yours sincerely
Misha

Jon smiled down at the very small child, smiling wider as they handed him a beautiful, bright yellow rose. It caught Jon off guard but it made him happy nonetheless. He had heard about a valentine's day rose delivery through the grapevine and was glad that someone thought of him enough to send him a rose. "Thank you very much." He said to the delivery person as he held the rose in one hand and then opened the small note accompanied with it. It was from Misha, one of the first professors he called a friend who's inside jokes were second to none. The note made him laugh and smile even wider if it were possible. It was definitely a lovely way for Jon to begin his day. After he'd recovered from Misha's hilarious note, Jon looked back down to the delivery person. "Are you having fun delivering these roses?" he asked.
