If he even cared, anyway. She opened the envelope, the first thing she found was an old wedding photo. She ran her fingers over it, these were her parents? She set it aside before pulling out an old newspaper clipping, the engagement announcement of Piero Cantore and Gia Rossi. She set it aside, pulling out a birth certificate for Kiasora Cantore. "Kia- Kiasora?" She murmured, looking to the day. "April 24th?" That was a few months ago. According to this, she was already 12. "Well... happy late birthday to me," She murmured.
There was another article, one about a ship that went missing. Presumably sunk. Another page, a passenger manifest. She scanned the page, finding the name of her and her parents. So they really were lost at sea. She must have washed ashore then. There were six harbors in London, it wasn't an unreasonable assumption. There was only one other page in the envelope, an older parchment. She opened it, scanning over names. It was a family tree, with the names of her parents and her parents' parents. She looked at the page, unsure of what it meant. "You said I'm a pureblood?" She asked softly. "The... Cantore family was magical then. But then so was the Rossi family." She set it down, running her thumb over the page absently. "I was barely four when the ship went down..." She bit her lip. "I... probably couldn't say my name yet. Kiasora, Kia Sorens, it's similar," She sighed, moving the papers back into the envelope.-
Kia had a bit of a troubled childhood- growing up in an orphanage and feeling like she was unwanted, forced to rely on herself and distrusting of everyone around her.
