The name Katherine is of Greek origin and means "pure." In the early Christian era, Katherine was associated with the Greek word katharos (which means pure).
The name Claire is a French adjective meaning “clear,” “light,” or “bright.” It can also be a noun meaning “light,” as in the phrase “clair de lune” (“light of the moon”).
Kensington means "the Town Of Cynsige's People". It is the name of a borough in London. Kensington is an English name.

Personality:
Kate is inherently shy. Growing up in a wealthy family, but isolated home, the main interactions that she has had in her early childhood was with her mother, nanny and sometimes her father. She was brought up to be polite and kind and a 'proper lady'. Her parents have a very old fashioned view of upbringing. In staying mainly around her parents and house, Kate hasn't been exposed to bullies, or any kind of 'meanness', but knows what it is to be nice and kind to others, and always strives to be kind. Kate will often not stand up for herself, and would struggle to stand up for her friends, but will always be there for them if they were upset.

Kate favorite thing to do is crocheting. She also enjoys knitting and quilting.

"My name is Katherine Claire Kensington, but I usually go by Kate."

"I get called Kate by most people; the shortened version of my name."​

What do you look like? Be as descriptive as possible.
"I have medium blonde hair, it's usually qutie straight. My mother knows spells and charms on how to change it, and I expect I will learn these from her soon. My eyes are hazel, and are either an up-turned, or almond shape. I'm not sure."

"It depends on the occassion. For every day, it might be...high rise pants with a blouse, or an easy, everyday type dress."​

"Definitely a dress and heels. If the dress allows, a necklace, earrings, some type of accessory. "

"I love jeans and tshirts. Maybe sneakers as well!"​

"I live with my parents at the house at their Vineyard. It is large, but always, always neat."

"My flower vase; it's not a typical vase, or something we usually have showing in our house, it's the bottle that our families' very first wine made was poured into."​

"I would like to say, kind."

"I don't spend a lot of time with my Father; he is often working. He will occassionally join us for dinner. I spend a lot of time with my Mother or Nanny, and we are quite close. They are both very kind, and everything I aspire to be."​

"I know that when I was younger, I quite enjoyed playing with my dollhouse. Otherwise I don't really play games."

"I would have to say my Nanny - I couldn't say my Mother, because she already has another title! (Mother)."​

"A couple of years ago, when my parents took me to buy my rabbits. It was a fun, proper family outing, and I got two amazing creatures as well."

"Falling off my horse. Not only was it incredibly painful, but I was covered in dirt."​

"A flower farm in the Tasman. A field full of flowers. Stunning."
