Physical Appearance:
Katalina stands at approximately 5'5" and is slender in build. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. There is a small birthmark on her right cheek that has faded significantly as she's aged. And with age she has started to notice the small laugh lines around her mouth and eyes.

Personality:
For those that know Katalina well then they know that she is extremely energetic and outgoing, but wasn't always that way. Until about the age of thirteen she was very shy unless she knew who you well. After the incident with the Durmstrang crew in her third year she became what most people would consider a spit fire. She was significantly more rambunctious and full of fire. In short, she took no crap from anyone. With age and having a child of her own now she has calmed considerably, but still has that fiery Gryffindor spirit when the occasion permits.

Special Talents & Abilities:
Katalina is a very talented flyer. It has helped significantly with her quidditch career and is something that she always enjoyed doing. It is a talent that she seems to have passed on to her daughter, much to her husbands chagrin.
Kat is also an Animagus. Her animagus form is an Ocelot. Katalina had always loved Transfiguration, probably a love she adopted from her mother who also excelled in the class, so she'd always worked hard to maintain proper grades. She began training with Professor London and then finished her training on her own. Rarely does she ever take her animagus form as there's never been much need and the only people to have ever seen her in her form are her sister, mother, and husband.

Bakground:
Katalina was born in Surrey, England where she lived with her parents and younger sister until she was nine years old. Her father then took a position with the Ministry of Magic in New Zealand and shortly after the family moved to Wellington. Not long after moving her mother took a position with the NZ branch of St Mungos as a healer. She attended Hogwarts New Zealand and graduated from the school in 2025. Upon graduating she moved back to England to pursue her career in quidditch, playing for the Wimbourne Wasps. At the age of twenty one she married the love of her life, Chace Harker. In 2034 they welcomed a baby girl into their world, Mattyson Andromeda Harker. The couple currently resides in England, but visit New Zealand several times a month when their schedules allow for it.

**Just little snippets of information from Kat's seven years at school.**​

*First Year*
Kat was sorted into Gryffindor. Had her first case of puppy love for Makato Black, a Slytherin. Had her first heartbreak from the very same boy. First met Rhyspa Marinescu (then Rhyspa Aireous) and Kailey Harrington (then Kailey Paramore) when they had a snowball fight, in if I remember correctly someone hit Professor King with a snowball. Attended try-outs for the house quidditch team and made chaser. **PB Jennifer Love Hewitt (1st Year)


*Second Year*
Katalina had a fairly calm existence during her second year. She spent the better part of it missing Makato, but trying her best to forget about him while keeping up with her studies and surrounding herself with friends. Things got a little touchy when her friend Lily Potter (now Lily Drage) was reunited with her boyfriend, Blake Zepline, who had also fled the school the year prior, leaving her in the same boat as Kat. The Gryffindor didn't take too kindly to Blake returning and expecting things to go back to normal, but for Lily's sake she was nice about the whole situation. Not too long after Blake's return, Makato also returned which threw Kat for a loop. The two reconciled, but things would never be the same as they had been before. **PB Amber Tamblyn (2nd Year)


*Third Year*
Kat was appointed a school prefect which was what she had worked so hard for. This was the year of the Tri Wizard Tournament which was when she met Durmstrang student, Nicolae Kobori. She and her best friend Rhyspa attended the Yule Ball that year with Nicolae and Dominik Marinescu (who as it turns out is now Rhyspa's husband), but things got complicated when the girls found out that they were merely pawns in a bet that the boys had going on. Things that year got pretty nasty until one of Kat's best friends and her 'big brother' finally helped her exact a little bit of revenge on the two Durmstrang boys. **PB Sophia Bush (3rd Year/Present)

*Fourth Year*
Kat had finally started to get over what had happened to her and her friends they year prior. With the great influx of transfers from Hogwarts Scotland she met several new friends, one of which being Chace Harker. They attended the Yule Ball together that year. Things between Kat and Chace took a turn for the worst when her best friend, Andromeda Fiorelli, shared a kiss with the Slytherin, unknowing the feelings that Kat had for him. Once they'd buried the hatchet on that incident Katalina met yet another transfer after the Christmas holidays...Sumner Drage (then Sumner Reine). The two instantly connected, but remained only friends during the remainder of the year.


*Fifth Year*
The year started off pretty calmly, but quickly spun into a whirlwind when things got a little hectic after class between Kat, Sumner, and Chace. Long story short there was some snogging with a bird and a few punches thrown at a snake while a lioness sat in awe at everything that was conspiring in front of her. Her relationship with Sumner quickly went from from being very close friends to them being a couple. The pair had a very odd relationship, seeing as they both had tempers that would flair at the drop of a hat. Along with her best friend, Andy, she was a captain for the quidditch team. Though the year started out well for Kat it did not stay that way. Her body image was one thing that the Gryffindor struggled with and her obsession with her weight quickly spun out of control into a full on eating disorder. When things finally came to a head with that, once again there were punches thrown between the bird and the snake. With the help of friends, Kat seemed to get better for the most part. On her 16th birthday Sumner gave Kat a promise ring (not to mention the world's worst birthday spanking). During their winter break they attended the wedding of Estrella Styx (formerly Estrella Drage) and Jaken Styx. During the reception the brunette saw something happen between two people she cared about very much that sparked a jealousy, as well as hidden feelings that would later cause problems in paradise.


*Sixth Year*
The year started off as any other would have. Trekking through the monotony of classes, but at least Kat had Sumner...for a while at least. One day after class the Gryffindor asked Chace is she could speak to him. Well one thing lead to another and Kat ended up pulling him into a broom cupboard, kissing him, not realizing that the cupboard was inhabited by none other her boyfriend, Sumner, and her good friend, Lily. Things went from bad to worse as the seemingly happy existence Kat had came to a crashing halt and the brunette also lost her very best friend, Andy, as a result of it all. There was a huge fight during the Halloween Feast which resulted in a mass detention in which Kat and Lily made their peace and attempted to restore the friendship that had seemed to be doomed. Sumner and Kat made their peace in the same fashion they always had...they fought and then made up. Cue, Trevor Davies. He helped Kat start to heal a very broken heart, but there was one part of her heart that wouldn't heal completely without the return of feelings from a certain Slytherin. Kat and Trevor attended the Yule Ball together...well, they attended and then decided that they're time would be better spent snogging each other senselessly on the couch in the common room. After the holiday break Sumner proposed to Lily and not long after they were married. It stung Kat slightly, but she was nonetheless happy for her friends as her feelings for Sumner had changed...her heart still holding out for someone else. On her 17th birthday she began getting letters from a secret admirer, each containing a charm. In the third and final letter Kat was told that if she wanted to meet up with her admirer to meet at the dance club at the mall. Upon arriving there she met Chace and they danced together, where he then revealed that he was the one who had written the letters to her. In true Katalina fashion she first ranted and raved before finally telling the Slytherin that she loved him. The pair were soon a couple and there she had her heart completely healed.


*Seventh Year*
Though she was disappointed at not getting appointed Head Girl it really didn't come as much of a surprise. She hadn't exactly been the model student as she should have been to be in that role. Quidditch took a back seat for the year since there was yet another TriWizard Tournament, though this time it was held at Beauxbatons much to Kat's delight. It was a relatively low key year for the Gryffindor and fairly uneventful. She attended the Yule Ball with Chace. Shortly before the holiday break she received a letter from the captain of the Wimbourne Wasps extending her an offer to play chaser for the team once she had graduated. At first she had been nervous about telling her love about it, but once she had he was ecstatic for her and that day he told her that he would move to England to be with her. With that knowledge, Kat gladly accepted the position and traveled to meet the team over Christmas break with her sister. After the holidays the Gryffindor tried her hardest to focus on her NEWTs and after a fair amount of preparation did fairly well on them. On a Brightstone weekend, Lily took Kat to get her first tattoo, though she nearly chickened out. Graduation came all too soon and the reality of the approaching real world hit her hard and fast and she started to question whether or not she was ready for it. Like all good things school ended as Katalina Vanderhol took the stage to accept her diploma and leaving the same way she came in the brunette tripped and fell down the stairs in her usual klutzy fashion.
