Full Name:
My name is Kaoru Shurui.
Kaoru means independent but friendly, and Shurui
means kindness... It's a literal translation, too!
But, it's easier to call me Kao!

Current Age:

Basic Appearance:
I have brown eyes, and brown hair too. I'm around
4"9, so I guess rather small! But, I don't think that
matters. I weigh around 109 pounds, which I think
is because I'm always running around. Sometimes I
would skip dinner because I was having so much fun
too.

Personality:
People say... I'm optimistic. I guess I am, since I
always see the positive side of things instead of
being negative all the time. Despite my picture, I'm
always smiling, or laughing. I make a lot of jokes, and
I don't like seeing people by theirselves... whether they
want to be alone or not. However, I'm serious when
I need to be, and I can get quite sad sometimes. When
I'm at home... But... then I try to cheer myself up! I
can't be sad all the time, right? I'm protective, sometimes,
and Kenzo says I'm insecure, and use my cheeriness to
hide it. I don't know what he means. I'm said to be quite
kind, and friendly.

Family:
My eldest brother, Kisho, doesn't really speak to me. I
don't know why, but he's rather argumentative. He hates
our guardian... doesn't he see that he's just trying to look
after us. But, then again, when mum died, he was all for
looking after me and Kenzo. Maybe... he still does? I don't
know...He almost changed when mum died. It's like he
changed in the inside.I don't care how he is, he's still my
older brother, and I'm sure he'll go back to the way I know
Kisho to be.

Then, there's my other older brother, Kenzo. I'm always
talking to him. I'm very close to him. He watched out a
lot for me at school, when Kisho wasn't really around.
Kenzo always asks me if I'm ok, and always tries to split
up me and Kisho when we fight, even if he doesn't like
confrontation himself. Still, he always sticks up for himself
or for me, or for what he believes in!

Pets:
A barn owl called Koku, and a german shepherd called
Yoru.

Area of Residence:
Dunedin, New Zealand. I was originally in Osaka, Japan.

Blood Status:
Mixed Half Blood, my mother being a mixed-blood and father
a muggle

Heritage:
Mainly japanese, but my mother was partially english and
taught all three of us! I got less tutoring, but being in
Hogwarts is bound to help me! I think I'm quite good, anyway.
That, and Kenzo likes to pop-quiz me from time to time.

Special Abilities:
I don't think... I have any.

Interests or Hobbies:
I like drawing, and listening to music. Reading is ok,
especially when I'm bored. I like running too, and I learnt
Kendo and Karate while I was living in Japan. I'm not the best,
but I can hold my ground in a fight! I also like talking... haha!

Additional Skills:
Nope! I don't think I have any of these!

Strengths:
My strengths are probably, my cheeriness. I'm almost always
happy, and I can cheer up some people too. I always see the
bright side of things, even when I don't mean to.

Weaknesses:
Probably one of the few things I'm scared of. It's something
silly to be afraid of, but I can't stop flinching at it. I'm scared
of being left alone, that Kisho and Kenzo will leave like mum
and dad did. I don't admit this, but I'm also petrified of thunder.
I can't listen to it, and I freeze...
