Just starting out

Laura had been out of hospital only a couple of weeks. But she decided it was time to get out of the house. She decided that she would walk out to her favourite tree by Michaels house.

While she was walking she had time to think about her and hogwarts and why her and Michael got kicked out. She hadnt really put any thought to it till recently.

 

[Warren Hewitt]

Warren was wondering through the streets, partially hoping to find some sort of adventure. However, it was mostly that he had stopped paying attention the streets he was on a while ago, and is now completely lost.

However, situations like this were unfortunately common to Warren. He had learned to remain calm, and to keep traveling until he saw something familiar. It has been a bout fifteen minutes and Warren wasn’t able to recognize any of the features. "It is okay." He thought, "Backup plan, if simple wandering doesn't work then I'll just have to ask someone where I am."

Now having his eyes peer across the streets and lawns of the houses he saw someone sitting in a shadow of a large tree. Warren wandered over to her and said, "Excuse me. My name is Warren and I'm a bit lost so I was wondering if you could tell me the closest major intersection?"

"Good afternoon warren." She said looking the little kid over. "I take it you know of magic or you wouldnt be able to see me."

she stood up and brushed her self down. "Come on then warren lets get you back to the road." she said to him "So what brang you to my neck of the woods kid." she asked him

Warren’s jaw dropped. "Wait you know magic?" Warren exclaimed. He never would have guessed that he would meet a fellow wizard so easily or by such happenstance. "What is it like? To use magic that is!" Warren said as he gently jogged to keep at the pace of the girl.

He was very excited now. Warren never even realized he forgot to answer her question. But it had gotten to the point that Warren’s heart was pounding. He had never met a wizard other than his father.

Laura slowed her pace down as she could see that he was jogging to keep pace with her. "I only use magic for the bair esentils." she told him "But it comes with great responsibility."
She started thinking about talking to micheal about his security.

"Great Responsibilities?" Warren spat out. "Well that isn't how I pictured it. I always thought of it as the ability to do anything anytime!" Warren started to smile as he thought of all the things he will learn to do. Travel through time, read minds, conjure food. He wasn't really sure what was possible... However he was excited to learn about it.

Warren's pace became more natural as Laura slowed down. He thought he started recognizing some of the houses. Which must have meant they were getting close to the point that Warren wouldn't need Laura to guide him.
