It had been near hell trying to convince her mother to let her drive, by herself, over two hours from home for 'some rock concert'. In the end the sixteen year old had finally won the argument, after of course using her own money to pay for the ticket and agreeing to fill the tank back up with fuel after she got back home, again using her own money. Thanks be to Merlin the young female had her own stash of cash that she'd been putting back for the last two years, some of which had been given to her secretly by her Nana before she passed away.

There was a crowd. Of course there was a crowd. Kynleigh knew there would be a crowd. They were all here for him. She was here for him. Ticket clutched tightly in her hand the tall blonde fought her way through the crowd to her seat. Three rows back from the center of the stage. Her heart leapt in her throat and she couldn't believe that she was so nervous to see him play. Kynleigh had seen Elijah play loads of time when they'd been in school. Of course those shows were slightly smaller, as in just the two of them together on the school grounds. She smiled at the thought of those days and couldn't believe that so much time had passed between then and now. So much time had passed without a word between the two. She'd left school without any notice to anyone and really never looked back...well she'd looked back at the thought of him everyday for two years.

"Yeah, I'm almost done with it then I'll move on to the upstairs," Kynleigh yelled from the kitchen to her mother as she rolled her eyes. She stuck her hands back in the dishwater and continued scrubbing the pots and pans that had been dirtied up by the previous nights meal preparation. It seemed like all she did lately was clean and study. At least it wasn't muggle school, her mother had at least agreed to pay for private homeschooling for the young witch. Now if only she were of age and could use magic to clean the house she'd have loads more free time to do the things she wanted. "Oh well, another year and I'll be able to leave," she mused out loud to herself as she rinsed and dried the last pot and put it away.

There was a thud on the front porch and Kynleigh glared. The darn paperboy was going to smash a window one of these days if he kept aiming as horribly as he did. Her mother didn't read the news, but the young blonde liked to keep up with what was going on in the world around her. Tucking the paper under her arm she headed upstairs with the intention of doing the small amount of cleaning that needed to be done up there, but as her attention span would have it she found herself in her favorite spot, the small little area of rooftop that could be reached from her bedroom window, with the paper spread out on her lap. She flipped through carelessly reading the articles. There was one about a local family who had lost their home in a fire, but the community had swooped in to save the day and help them rebuild their life. Another about an underprivileged youth who had worked hard and landed a huge scholarship to some college abroad. Then came the small article that nearly toppled her right over and off the roof of her home. It wasn't the words that stopped her, but the small picture that went with it. It was a picture of Elijah. Kynleigh sat there and stared for the better part of ten minutes. What was he doing in her newspaper? For the answer to that she looked below the picture and read the interview that went along with it. Her smile practically covered her face from ear to ear. "He did it," she squealed loudly as she clapped her hands.

It had been two weeks since Kynleigh had read the article in the newspaper. She'd cut it out and had kept if folded up in her pocket ever since then. She'd always known that Elijah was talented and now the rest of the world was getting to find that out. The blonde girl was nervous. She wasn't sure why she was nervous. There had never been a reason to be nervous around Elijah before, but this felt different. Before it had always just been the two of them against the world, but that was before Kynleigh had left school...had left him. It was even very highly unlikely that he would even notice that she was here. She was just one face in a crowd of so many others, but she was the one face in this crowd who cared for him like no other. Tonight was Elijah's night. She was here for him whether he knew it or not and she was so proud of him.

<SIZE size="50">To say a certain Hufflepuff was nervous was a little bit of an understatement. This was indeed his very first real performance in front of a small crowd that had come to see him. It wasn't his first show. During the christmas of the previous year, 2029, he'd played a number of concerts supporting a much bigger band around Australia. He hadn't called home, or told anyone. But this band had heard him playing at an open mic night and asked him to join them. Since then, the boy had recorded an EP. A short album with 5 of his own songs and 2 covers. It had been doing fairly well, and he'd found himself growing in popularity. He had amassed a few fans. People who email him to say they liked his music and asking him when he would be releasing an album, others just saying they liked his style. It had been pretty surreal, since Elijah had never been great at understanding why people would like him. It was just him and his guitar. He spoke from his heart in his songs and people liked it. He'd started posting videos on this thing muggle's called youtube every so often, and from that again his popularity had grown. It was still however surreal that during his summer, he would be playing a number of small shows around Australia. He had never expected to get the letter from a record label asking him if he wanted backing to go on a mini sort of tour. If it went well enough the company were considering having him signed on to them. The tour had been completely funded by himself and the tickets sold. And surprisingly for him, he'd practically sold them all. All in all, it had been a pretty amazing few months. He had never imagined to have ever released any music let alone be preforming in front of a crowd that wasn't just a couple of his friends. Or a crowd that wasn't just Kynleigh. He could hear the bustle of the crowd from where he was sitting in the back room. He'd gone through soundcheck and had smiled at the fact the stage had his nickname written in letters at the back so people knew who he was. There was no band, no backing, just a few of his muggle friends that he'd met through the other tour, willing to help him out with sound and merchandise. They were touring with him, and he was thankful. Knowing that doing it completely alone would be practically impossible.

The teen's hands were sweating and he could hear his heart beating in his chest. The songs on his EP were the ones he'd be preforming, then a few covers, ones people liked from his youtube channel and others they might not know. He opened his guitar case and pulled out his old guitar. Underneath was the small bundle of press that he had about himself. The local news article. A smile reached his face as he read the article once over again and remembered the day he'd done it.

"So, Elijah, or is it just Eli now?" The interviewer asked as he greeted the incredibly nervous teen. Elijah had done a bit of press at this time, and people kept on calling him Eli. They didn't seem to care that his name was actually Elijah.
"Whatever is fine." Elijah replied with a nervous smile. The interviewer held out his hand, and Eli gladly shook it. Elijah had been glad to do a bit of press of the local newspaper. He wanted to be a success, he needed his show to be a success. But press and things like that was still very new to him. Of course he had to come up with an entire story for himself. He couldn't say that he was a wizard, that he'd spent the better part of the last six years at a magical school. Who would believe him.
"Our readers are curious, where do you get the inspiration for your songs? They seem quite personal?" The interviewer asked. Elijah smiled slightly, and lowered his eyes to the ground. He took a deep breath before nodding. He looked back up at the man in front of him, conscious that there was both a camera and a voice recorder.
"They are very personal to me. I wrote them with someone in mind. Someone I haven't seen in a while. Its basically all the things I've wanted to say to her. But, the inspiration also comes from knowing people like my music. It's all I've ever wanted to do." Elijah smiled. There had been more questions and it had stayed pretty friendly. They'd taken a few pictures and said there goodbyes. The article had been flattering, he'd said in it that Elijah was a smart 17 year old who knew what he wanted from life. That there was a different kind of light behind his eyes than most teens. He was determined. That in this world he needed to be. But that they predicted he'd do well. His mellow and calming sound made a difference from all the up tempo music that overwhelmed the radios. But that he was a capable singer. Elijah had been flattered by the words.

There had been a brief moment when he had hoped that just maybe Kynleigh had seen the article that she would go to his show. One of the several shows he was playing. The likelihood wasn't huge, but he was hopeful. All hopes of getting past the fact she'd left without a word had been fruitless. He had found himself missing her more each day. He would smile as he thought of her. The time they spent together. The times he was apart from her and truly felt like a part of himself was missing. She was perfect in every way to him. She was a little crazy, but her smile made him smile. Her laugh was incredibly, and completely infectious. He was unsure if she would miss him. If she even remembered him. He didn't ever stick around in people's minds. He was just another teen, one who didn't deserve her. Or so he thought. It had been two years since he'd last seen her. It had been a long two years. He wondered how much she had changed over that time. He'd changed. He had a very small stubble that was slowly growing into what could be a pretty good beard. He was standing at just about 6ft and had a slim build. His hair was a little longer, and now straight, but his eyes were still the same green and he still had the same smile. Pulling at the wristbands he wore, Elijah put on his guitar and headed towards the stage. It was now or never. He had to put the thoughts of the girl he cared deeply who was no longer in his life. It was time to prove that he could make it. That his music was worth people listening to.

"Give a loud cheer for tonights headline act, Eli Tine" Hearing himself being introduced was odd. But, as he stepped out onto the stage, and people applauded and cheered, a small smile reached his face. He gave a small wave before stopping at the center of the stage. The backing track started up and Elijah began to play. The first song he played was one of his favorites from the EP. It had a very soft beginning but picked up as the song. It was all about magic, oddly enough, but just about the magic of life and of love. It had simple lyrics with a chorus that had lots of repetition. It was easy to learn and it was definitely pretty catchy. Not only that but despite the nerves clear in his voice, it made his voice strong and powerful. His eyes tried to reach every member of the crowd. In a desperate attempt to make each person there feel like he was singing only to them. As he had always done with Kynleigh. His fingers didn't fumble and he didn't hesitate. Tonight was his night. He was no longer just the teen age wizard with mounds of issues. He was Elijah Tine, musician. Tonight he didn't think about if he would or wouldn't be returning to school in the spring. He was just another struggling to make it with an amazing opportunity in front of him. As soon as the song finished, the people began loudly clapping and cheering. He felt himself smiling brightly. And muttering his thanks.

"This next song is a song by Coldplay, you've probably heard them, it's called Paradise. Sing along if you know the words, if you don't well pretend." Elijah smiled at the crowd and began playing. He wasn't stationary, he swayed slightly as he strummed away at the guitar. Every so often, he'd close his eyes in concentration. But this was what he wanted from his life. He wanted to do this every day. He wanted to get up in front of people and just sing. All previous fears of not being good enough had completely faded. He knew that the more he worked at it, then he would be able to just continue doing what he was doing. He loved singing, and he loved music. It had been his dream since he'd written his first song to be able to get up in front of crowd and just play. Here he was now, on the verge of a possible career as happy as he could be. The back of his mind telling him he was missing one key ingredient. A girl he hoped he would someday meet again.

As the crowd waited Kynleigh pulled the well worn article from her pocket and unfolded it. She gently ran her finger over the picture and smiled. Two years. It had been two years since she'd seen the face that made her heart flutter. He looked very different yet very much the same. She too had changed and wondered if he'd even notice her if he saw her. The tall blond had grown another couple of inches, thinned out in some places and filled out significantly in others. The physical changes weren't the only changes in Kynleigh though. Since her Nana died she'd been different. Something about her smile didn't touch her eyes anymore. Something about the loss of two people she cared most about in the span of a year had really done a number on her, but perhaps there would be a part of her that could come back if maybe, just maybe, Elijah noticed her tonight.

Chill bumps overtook her skin when the announcer came overhead. She cheered just as loudly as she could when she heard his name announced as the headliner though she wasn't really sure when he'd gone to going by 'Eli'. Perhaps a publicity thing he'd come up with. She had listened to his EP on repeat ever since she'd read the article and loved every song.

"It's really not that loud mother so no I will not turn it down," Kynleigh seethed at her mother as she slammed her bedroom door and locked it. As usual she climbed out onto her favorite spot on the roof and listened to the music through her opened window. She hummed along with the song. When she sat like this is was almost like she was back at school with him, out on the school grounds with him playing only for her like he used to. She couldn't help, but crack a smile. The concert was four days away and her stomach fluttered slightly thinking about it. The chances that he would even see her amongst the other people there were slim to none, but the small hope that he would was what kept her going for the better part of the last week and a half. Kynleigh Davis was beyond excited to see Elijah Tine again, she just hoped it would be the reunion she had in dreamed up in her mind.

Her breath caught in her throat when he took the stage. The first song he played was her favorite from his EP. It was amazing that even in a huge crowd he could make it seem like he was still singing only to her. It sent shivers down her spine and she laid her hands over the left side of her chest feeling as though her heart was about to leap out. When the song was over the blonde jumped and cheered loudly with the rest of the audience. Elijah was brilliant as always. Definitely in his element just as she always knew he would be. She was so incredibly proud of him and ecstatic that she was able to be here to see him doing what it was he loved most.

When he started into his second song she closed her eyes and swayed along with the music. She lost herself in her thoughts during the song. Seeing pictures of the two of them together when they were in school...memories. Seeing pictures of the two of them together now...dreams.

<SIZE size="50">The dreams of the hufflepuff were never something he ever imagined would come true. It had always been something in the great distance. Something he'd never quite be able to reach. It had never really bothered him, he would be happy just playing in and writing, fame was not something he had ever thought he'd get, so he'd been realistic in knowing that just creating would enough. The fact that he'd done more than he'd ever believed he would do. He never thought that at the mere age of seventeen he'd playing to an almost sold out crowd. That it would his show. That it was his name on the tickets. That it was his EP they were selling. That outside his name was written in big letter. Elijah Tine. The australian singer, the one with a very light Australian accent that was barely heard in his accent. And even less heard in his singing. He was a laid back guy who'd just emerged from nowhere. If only people knew that to quite literally true. His boarding school, with very strict rules was the only way he could claim for according to some "taking this long" to get his music out there. He knew that it was a miracle that out of all the new australian guys who were attempting to get their music heard, that his was the one to be picked. That his music, above all others was the one that the people liked enough to take him on the tour, to give the ability to have a very small tour of his own and just get the music out there. Just be given that little chance, the opportunity to do something, make a small difference. He always said if his music was able to reach someone and that it helped him, then he was happy to do it. It didn't matter on what path it lead him, it didn't matter if he ended crashing out, as long as he had his music. His music was all he needed to know that no matter what, he would be all right. He didn't need anything else. His music was the only thing he actually wanted in his life. That and a certain Gryffindor, or ex-gryffindor teen. It was why whenever he played, the music became everything. It took all his concentration, all his worries and fears faded as the music stepped in. It was the reason that when he finished the song, there was a brief moment where all the nerves would just rush back. He played the last chord, and let his eyes glance over the crowd once again, as the applause broke out.

"Is everyone having a good night?" Elijah asked, leaning into the microphone as he spoke. He smiled as people responded. "I'm so happy you guys all came out here tonight. Means a great deal to me. This next song, is one of the songs from the EP, It's about how you should peruse your dreams no matter the cost." Elijah smiled and made sure to glance at all areas of the audience, before beginning the song. The song was one that he had written a long time before. Now, it meant more than anything could. His parents had basically all but cut all contact with him. He didn't mind, but it would've been nice to have their backing before he followed his dream. They had always known that he would do. He had a passion for music. They didn't support him, and he was clear that no matter what they said, it wasn't going to change his mind about what he wanted to do. There was nothing else he wanted or could do. His grades were not the best, he had no interest in anything other than music. No one seemed to quite understand that. The only person who had ever seemed to like his dream was the one person he missed most. The one he hoped he'd see again. The one he prayed to some higher power he'd one day meet again. But for now, the song stood for what his parents were trying to do.

"Elijah TINE! You will not peruse this." His father yelled at him. Elijah had just asked to be allowed to not go to France so he could tour with the band who'd asked him to. He knew that his father and mother would react badly but this was something else. Elijah had never felt so small, so insignificant. It wasn't like they had ever actually cared about him. They'd left him at the age of 1, and decided to bring him back into their lives when it suited them. Only because his sister had found him. A sister who'd turned out to be the biggest brat he'd ever met.
"I agree with your father Elijah. This is not the life we had planned for you." His mother added, calmer than his father. At this Elijah stood. He'd heard enough.
"You know what, I don't give a F##k what you both think. I really don't. I will do whatever the f##k I want with my life. You can't keep me here. You do not get to just waltz back into MY life and tell ME what do. You do not get to plan my life if you weren't around for the start of it." Elijah hardly ever yelled, he was a very laid back kind of guy. He didn't get angry, or shout. If he could avoid it he would. But, this was enough for him. This was the limit with his parents. He didn't care if they kicked him out, or told him that he would not get anymore money from them. He could deal with it. Like he'd dealt with everything else in his life. Alone. "So I don't care what you say, I AM DOING THIS" Elijah turned on his heels and went to his room. The same night he had gathered all his belonging, all that he wanted and had left. He hadn't looked back, or contacted them since.

Elijah loved the song, but he knew that most would not understand how much he had put on the line for this. For his music he'd pretty much given up all he could. He'd worked harder for it than he could've. The only difference was that his grades had suffered, he had few friends he could count on. The closest friend had left. The one person he cared about had left. He knew that she'd probably know without him saying what the song was about. And if she didn't then he could explain. She was the only person he ever wanted to explain it to. The only person who probably had the patience to listen to him. However, this song was also meant to show how hard he work to be where he was. How much he wanted it. His voice was always a little rougher during this song. It was one of the songs that meant more to him, for completely different reasons. He knew he would have to work twice as hard now to stay in the business. He knew that he would probably have to leave school. He just couldn't yet. He didn't have the guts to. He didn't want to move on. A part of him, thought that just maybe this would the year that Kynleigh was back at school, and he was no more. The year he backed out and just started his life. The year he decided he'd had enough of pretending he was a good prefect, or role model for the younger students. Maybe go back at the beginning, get his belongings together. If he did chose to follow his dreams. He'd walk away from Hogwarts in the same fashion he'd walked away from his family, the same way she'd walked away from him. He finished the final strum, and let his hands rest, as his eyes glanced over the crowd. People were smiling and clapping. He found himself giving a small laugh, he couldn't believe this was happening to him. All the times he had hoped, dreamed that he would be the person the people were there to see, and here he was. He half expected to wake up and find out this was all a dream. A very good dream, but a dream all the same. He looked over to the side of the stage where his friend was giving him a huge thumbs up.

"You guys are amazing. You truly are." Elijah said smiling at them. "I'm a huge nerd, a huge nerd. There is this song I love. It's from the Disney movie Mulan. It was always my favorite. So we'll take a brief step away from my set, so I can play this song for you. I'm however, going to bring out my friends who helped make this happen to help me out." Elijah started a bit of applause for his friends. The ones he'd made while on tour. The song was one he'd decided they should do that day during soundtrack. It wasn't a normal song to play on a person's first set. But he was truly in love with the song. It was very well pitched for just showing how far Elijah could stretch his voice. He looked to the people now with him on stage and then back to the crowd. "I want to hear you sing this nice and loud, okay?" With that Elijah counted them in, and the song started up. In all honesty, he knew he was gambling a lot playing a Disney song at his first gig. But, in the same way he thought people would enjoy it. And in the same way, he didn't really mind if they didn't. He had a small plan to play a different song at each concert. He was practically jumping up and down as he sang. For once not playing his guitar, belting out the song let it was all that kept him from death. It was a good thing therefore that he could actually sing. That it was just how he'd sung it for years in the comfort of his own dorm, just here it was in front of so many people. His eyes, were always on the audience, smiling at the raised cameras, giving the small waves to some of the people who were jumping up and down. It was perfect. He thought it was perfect. He couldn't have been happier in that moment.

Kynleigh 'woohoo-ed' loudly and clapped when Elijah asked if everyone was having a good night. Good was an understatement. The young blonde was practically in a euphoric state...she could only imagine how Elijah was feeling. It seemed surreal almost. She remembered back to a time when the pair were sitting in the garden and they had made jokes about his album dropping before she'd be allowed to hear any of his new songs. It was then he had told her that he trusted her judgment more than anyone else's especially with his music. Kynleigh had always thought him brilliant every time he picked up a his guitar and played for her and now here she was watching him play live to a sold out audience. Her heart practically swelled with pride for him. The teen had never held many people close to her heart and now with her grandmother gone, Elijah was the only person who resided there. He'd really been the only person who'd ever paid her any mind when she'd been in school and who didn't talk about her for being so odd. Kynleigh had always thought that complete sanity was overrated and her friend had agreed with her. She missed him tremendously.

Every time Kynleigh saw Elijah scan the audience her breath caught in her chest, but she quickly exhaled with a slight disappointment each time when he gave no indication that he saw her there. She wasn't sure what she would do if he did notice her...she wasn't sure what he would if he did notice her. Her optimistic side wanted to believe that if the two ever did meet again then things would go back to the same way that they had always been, but even she wasn't that naive. Two years was a long time and people changed...moved on. For all she knew, he had a girlfriend that he was head over heels for, especially now with his rise in fame. Probably a nice normal girl, who wasn't considered strange by everyone who met her, someone really pretty and not the slightest bit awkward. Someone who didn't up and leave without so much as a word...he deserved that.

"So who is he," Nana asked her granddaughter with a weak smile. She'd been bed ridden for the last two weeks...it wouldn't be much longer and everyone knew it. "Who is who," Kynleigh asked as she sat in the floor beside her grandmother's bed, playing with Hucklebee. "Don't play coy with me my whimsical little one. I know that look that you've had on your face. I had that same look when I met your grandfather. Who is he," Nana replied with a smirk on her face. Grabbing her grandmother's hand in her own she beamed brightly and said, "His name is Elijah. He's my friend and he's wonderful. I guess I'll have to wait to go back to school before I see him again, but I miss him. You would like him Nana...he plays the guitar just like Papa used to for you." Her grandmother closed her eyes and smiled, squeezed her hand and replied, "Then hold onto him sweet pea. Hold onto him tight."

Hold onto him tight were the words that rang in her mind as Elijah finished his cover of the Disney song. Kynleigh clapped her hand back over the left side of her chest, symbolically holding her heart. Because that was where he'd been since day one, in her heart and it was there that she'd held him tight for the past two years. The young blonde cheered loudly with the rest of the crowd and jumped up and down like a crazy person clapping wildly for him.

*I just had to link that one thread because I loved that one*

<SIZE size="50">The song itself was a good way of moving on to the next, it could easily be followed by another song from Elijah's EP. One that only required him to play the guitar and once again no backing. However, in this song, it was purely accusitic. There was no sound other than Elijah's voice and his guitar. One he strummed near the second mic positioned at exactly where Elijah he'd his guitar. This song was a song purely about love. He had written it shortly before meeting the other band. He'd been at school, it had been a beautifully gorgeous day and he'd been inside unable to quite get the motivation to head out. He had wanted to, but the sunshine and the beautiful grounds had been things he couldn't face just yet. He missed everything about their friendship. About how much he now realized he had liked her. Maybe not as far as love, but it had been somewhat close. Elijah had never been confident. The Hufflepuff had always struggled to make friends, the only way he felt at ease was with his guitar and now he attempted on many occasions to not have it around, but it had always somewhat failed. His guitar at school had given him confidence, it had been a part of him, a lot more than anyone would realize. He felt so much more at ease with his guitar. He knew it was a little weird, and most had found it off putting, but that was perhaps why he'd liked being around her so much. It had been easy to just have the guitar and not feel weird, or that he'd lose friends because of it. His guitar was much more of what he wanted than anything else. It was the only thing that no matter where he went or what he did, it always followed. He'd had it since he'd been a much younger and smaller boy stretching his fingers to reach the strings because he had no money to be able to afford a new one. Now he knew it was maybe time to get a second, but he just didn't want to part with the one he currently held in his hands. It was why he was a believer in his song about love, being a lot more than a boy singing it for a girl. It was about the feeling of liking something so much you can't imagine what life would be like without it. He couldn't imagine the person he'd be without his guitar. It was so much more than just an instrument. It was his way of expressing himself when he ran out of words.

The song came to an end, and Elijah found himself looking out at the crowd. For a moment he thought he saw the blonde that he missed dearly, but his mind told him that it was just playing tricks on him. That she actually wasn't, he just wanted it so bad, that he was making himself think that she was. He thought in a sense it was actually pretty sad of him to be doing such a thing. There would be no way that she'd come. As much as he'd spoken about her opinion mattering most, and how proud she had been of him, she'd walked away. She had better things to do that just go to the first headline concert of an old school friend. IN a way he almost expected it to mean nothing to her. The friendship maybe, anything more, not as much. "As most of you will probably not know, I am currently single. But, I've always said that being alone is underrated. Which I guess is where this song came from. I was alone, and I was like, Hey, it's okay to be alone every so often." Elijah strummed the first chord, and then stopped. "That being said, all of you ladies look beautiful tonight, and I'll be here until the morning." He gave a small laugh and then started playing. The song was about being alone, he had written it at the back of the potions class in the last term. Mostly because he was bored, but also because it had just been a time when she'd just left. When he was getting used to not being able to say or think, Hey maybe Kynleigh will like this.

"Mr. Tine, are you paying attention?" Elijah looked up suddenly as the professor addressed him. He hadn't been, but he still nodded in yes. He had no idea what on earth the professor had been going on about. And frankly he didn't really care all that much. There was just something he thought he would need, and others he knew he couldn't. Potions was one of those topics. Even if music did fail he wasn't going to do that. Although his response was the same as ever.
"Yes sir" Elijah looked back down at the work in front of him and smiled slightly. He'd not seen Kynleigh in about two weeks, and it was beginning to drive him insane. He just wanted to see her, to be able to talk to her. To ask her about her day, to tell her about his. To just be the guy that was in her life, for her to just be the girl that was in his. He wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend, but she wasn't even around. He had started writing a song that talked about how lonely he felt, but reading it back know he realized it actually was more about how it was actually okay to be alone. He'd been alone a lot of the time, but this was truly the first time that it had ever actually bothered him. Before he was so used to it that being alone was more normal to him than being surrounded by people was. He was actually okay with that. But this was different. He missed her more than he'd ever missed any other human being. And that was saying something. He wasn't then used to having someone he laughed with just disappear.

He strummed the final chord and looked out at the crowd. He was smiling, but in the back of his mind he realized he only had a few songs left to play. One more from his EP and then a final song that was a cover. These two were his all time favorite, the first was about Kynleigh. Like literally a song all about the girl he missed most in the world. But he was nervous about this song. Most would not even realize the true importance of this song, it was more of a love song than the previous one. it spoke of that one person, that one person you never had the courage to say anything to, but that you loved truly with every part of your heart. He didn't know how else to describe the song. "This has been a truly amazing night for me, unfortunately, my set is coming to an end very soon. I want to take this moment to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for coming out tonight. It means the world to me. So without further ado." Elijah once again strummed the first chord, and hummed himself in. The song with the final track on the EP and one he had almost not bothered with. He had hoped that she would hear it, and know he was thinking of her as he sung. But he wondered if she really would be able to tell. Elijah's eyes were desperately eyeing the crowd. He hoped that in this he would see her and he wished she would be here. In that line of thought, as he played and tried to make sure every girl felt as though he was singing to her, his green eyes fell upon a certain blonde.

There was a small rush of hope to Kynleigh when Elijah stated out in front of Merlin and everyone that he was currently single. At least that meant that for the time being he had no 'someone special' in his life. It wasn't that the sixteen year old didn't want him to be happy...that wasn't it at all. Elijah deserved all the happiness in the world, but there was that small part of her that wished that she was the one who could make him happy. A crooked smile crossed her lips when he mentioned how beautiful all of the ladies in the audience looked and that he'd be there until morning. Behind her she heard a girl say, "You can pretty much guarantee I'll be all over that until he leaves in the morning." Kynleigh turned to look at the girl and then turned back around chuckling and shaking her head.

When he started into his next song the blonde smiled. She'd listened to this particular song on repeat ever since she'd purchased his EP. Somewhere in her heart she hoped that it was about her and maybe after hearing that he was still single it wasn't so far fetched to believe that it was about her. She desperately hoped it was about her because she cared so much for him and missed him everyday and wished that she was with him all the time. There were days when it scared Kynleigh to feel that way because she knew if given the chance and if fate ever looked graciously upon her then she'd fall head over heels for Elijah. At times she thought that it was silly so think that at the age of sixteen that someone could fall in love, but then when she looked at her grandparents it didn't seem so silly at all. Her Nana had been only fifteen when she'd met her Papa, who'd been seventeen at the time. Maybe there was no age limit on falling in love.

The tall blonde smiled softly as she watched him with wide eyes singing a song that she was going to keep believing was 'her song'. She watched as he sang with intensity and passion and love to the entire audience and her heart swelled. She watched as his eyes swept the crowd and the thought crossed her mind that maybe, just maybe, he was looking for her. It wasn't until his gaze stopped wandering and landed right on her that she realized it was her he'd been looking for because from the moment their eyes met he didn't stop staring. Kynleigh bit her bottom lip slightly before smiling brightly and giving a sort of wave at Elijah then she gave him a big thumbs up so that he knew just how awesome she thought he was doing. Now the only thing she had left to wonder about was whether or not two years without a word from her had made nothing more than a stranger to him or did he actually miss her as much as she had missed him?

*Blah, sorry so icky...have just gotten home from a 14 hour shift and I am dead on my feet*

Knowing that he was coming to the end of his very first set, on his very first concert filled the Hufflepuff with pride. He knew that if he could make it now, then he'd be okay for a long while. It didn't hugely matter if he didn't get signed right away, he did in time. He had a small fan base, and he knew that the more he worked at it the more he would achieve. The more he pushed the more he would be able to grow as a musician. His fans would be loyal, they had already proved themselves to be fairly loyal already. All it would take would be for him to continue working at his music, either working on another EP, or beginning to create a very first album. It would be more interesting for him from here on out. His life was really about to change, and for that he was thankful. It was a great joy to know that over the next few months after he was done touring he'd be able to just make more music. He wanted to be able to be the best artist in the world, and win awards for his music. But he knew he would also be very lucky to even get to a point near that. He was just incredibly thankful for all he had right now, and all the people he had in that room. All of those there to support him and make him feel incredibly appreciated. It wasn't like he didn't think his music was great, but that just wasn't enough. Not anymore. It had to be pushed, he had to branch out. But he was pretty proud of himself as he was finishing his second to last song. At this point he knew and as ready to finish up, to say I've done it once I can do it again for the next few nights. He just loved being able to say I'm amazing. This is my first moment to shine. However, he was happily now smiling at a specific person in the audience. Kynleigh, he couldn't really believe it. His dream girl was currently only metros away from him. He just wanted to finish his set and just leave. He wanted to be able to run down and take her in his arms. Kiss her, tell her how much he missed her.

However, he couldn't instead he smiled as a chair was brought out, and Elijah took a seat. He looked to his fans in the crowd, smiled, waved a few times, and then strummed the guitar. He played the first chord and smiled as he played. The song was called I won't give up originally by Jason Marz, and it was a song about not giving up. If that was to be about life, a girl or boy, a job something, anything. And for him it meant two things, it was directly related to her, to the fact that he would never give up on her, which was why his eyes always spent the most amount time on hers. He would of course still have to be ELijah future singer, so therefore, he knew what he needed to do was to still be the same guy but at still make sure that Kynleigh knew he'd seen her. The second part of the meaning for him was that he really wasn't ever going to give up on his dream. He'd always been a firm believer in running with ones dreams until they came true. To grab on to what they were passionate about and just drive it on. He wanted this so bad, and he knew in time that he was going to get it. It was all about never giving up, never giving in and just continuing to be the best guy that there could be. To be the strongest, the hardest worker, and putting every into working as hard as he could so he could achieve what he wanted. Out of all the songs that weren't his, this was his favorite. For the very simple reason that it meant so much to him. It meant so much in the sense of how he cared about things, how his heart was. How he loved deeply, and cared strongly. He finished the final chord, and smiled happily at the crowd who began cheering loudly. He waved at people smiled, in the direction of cameras, but there was one thing, that he wanted to do. One tiny little thing. He took off the guitar and placed it on the chair. His eyes scanned the audience once more. He smiled as his eyes settled upon the one girl that he had really wanted there. Elijah walked towards the edge of the stage, and then jumped down to where the barriers were. He climbed over and into the crowd. There was a surgence of cheers, and Elijah felt people reaching out to him. He smiled and shook hands, high fived people and took a few pictures. It took him a little while but finally he was stood in front of Kynleigh.

Time around him seemed to stop around him. He was smiling at her, he was grinning like a child on christmas. he knew that this would be the best moment of his life. He couldn't move, seeing her had completely paralyzed him. Here was this amazing, beautiful girl whom he so desperately missed for the past two years and yet he could do nothing but stare. She had grown, she was clearly older. More beautiful, but the way her hair was still perfect in this sweaty room. His hair was plastered to his face. The way she looked stunning, her clothes not flattering her enough, but pulled off so easily. The pride on her face did not escape him. He could feel his eyes beaming at her as he stood. The suddenly something brought him back. He took a step forward, and put both of his sweaty hands on either sides of her face. He was taller than her. But, he couldn't take his eyes off hers. He couldn't get over how perfect her lips were, how she could simply smile and he would feel weak at the knees. "Kynleigh" He whispered in a quick breath. Before anything else could be said, he leaned in slightly, letting his eyes linger in hers, before kissing her on the lips.

The fact that Elijah knew that Kynleigh was there felt amazing to her. Out of everyone that was in the room she was the one that had caught his attention and held it. Her brown eyes locked onto his, refusing to remove him from her sight. She cocked her head slightly to the side and her gaze went dreamy. Her heart felt like it was beating a million times a minute and she felt like it might literally jump out of her chest and this time she didn't care. The tall blonde was the happiest she'd bee since her Nana had died, though it felt as if her grandmother were with her right now. Maybe her grandmother had even had a hand in leading them back together. That thought made her smile.

Kynleigh listened intently to the lyrics of his next song. His voice singing those words, words to her, made her eyes gloss over. She swayed side to side with the music. She knew how hard he had worked to get to where he was now. She knew how badly he had wanted this. The sixteen year old could remember when it was always just the two of them together against the world. He was the person that she always looked forward to seeing whenever she had gone on breaks from school. The one person that she always wanted to see after classes were over for the day. He was her person. Her one constant in her life and she had felt like she'd lost that when she'd had to leave school, but it seemed that now, perhaps, she had him back. Her heart sincerely hoped that she had him back.

When the song came to an end Elijah took off his guitar and put it down. Kynleigh half expected him to take a bow and then leave the stage, same as most of artists, but what he did next shocked the living hell out of her. The boy of her dreams leapt from the stage and began to make his way through the crowd. She laughed as he stopped to sign a few autographs and take a few pictures with some fans. Her breath caught in her throat when he stood right in front of her. He was taller than she remembered, probably a good five or six inches taller than she was. When Elijah took her face gently in his hands her eyes glazed over slightly with moisture. Tears of joy. She heard him breathe her name and just as she was about to respond he leaned forward and kissed her. Kynleigh closed her eyes and kissed him back, her hands wrapping slightly around his wrists. Behind her she could hear the same girl from early say, "So apparently he's into frumpy looking scrawny girls." Kynleigh didn't care. She didn't have a care in the world right now. Pulling back just slightly and looking up at him she said, "I always knew." So much meaning in those three words. She'd always known that Elijah would be a hit. She'd always known that he'd work hard enough to make his dreams come true. She'd always known that one day they'd find their way back to each other. And some part of her had always known that they belonged to each other.

It was suffice to say that this had very easily become the best night of his life. The best day of his life. There would never be a time where he'd look back on that very day and not smile. There was not a moment in the day that had dampened his spirits. He'd never really been an it all happens for a reason kinda guy but this had somewhat made him begin to believe. He thought that the last time he'd laid eyes on her wouldn't be, but then she'd disappeared from his life with no word of goodbye. After that he thought I'll never be able to see her again, the one that got away. Yet her she was, at his first ever concert where he was playing for a small crowd of people their to see him. It felt amazing, more than amazing, the term on top of the world didn't even quite cover how the teen was feeling. He could only find himself grinning broadly as he wrapped his arms around her and brought her even closer to him while still kissing. Even though they'd never officially dated at school, Elijah had always somewhat been in love with this girl. She'd been the odd girl in the corner whom he'd fallen for. She'd not seemed weird to him, what could he actually say about being weird, he'd just loved being around her, seeing her smile, hearing her laugh. The way she did at times seem a little nervous. In all respects Elijah thought she was perfect, and he really didn't think that often, not even about his own songs. She was the one girl for him, even if she didn't think so much of him, no matter what, he always knew he'd want her. It didn't bother him that he could hear the people around them act somewhat shocked, it didn't bother him that he was vaguely aware that the lights had perhaps gone on. It didn't even cross his mind that later that evening he'd be getting on a bus and traveling countless miles to his next show. That if things went well, he would have a shot at a proper record deal, that he'd have a shot at going big. It was all about that singular moment with Kynleigh. For Elijah this was all for them. He broke the kiss and moved his hand so he could take it in his. He was smiling, grinning like a little kid who'd just gotten huge amounts of praise. He was happy, happy as she spoke. Leaning in began to talk.

"I'd always hoped." Elijah whispered quietly in her ear. He'd always been less certain about things like this. He never thought that an amazing girl like Kynleigh would ever like him enough to consider them dating. He knew that she could do so much than a boy who often forgot to eat. That she could really get any guy, so why out of all of them, would it be him. He leaned in again and kissed her lightly on the lips, holding it for a brief second before breaking away, the green eyes of the boy never leaving her face. She was amazing. She was truly the one girl she'd always hoped for. He ran a hand briefly through her hair, almost asking himself if this was real, if she was real. "We should go backstage, they've a lot to do in here." Elijah whispered again, waiting for her say so before leading her in the direction it was. He wondered what they would talk about, if this meant they were officially dating, what it would mean for his tour, what she'd been up to recently, where she'd gone, how he'd managed this, was she at school? Everything was circling in his head. Everything that had always plagued his mind. When he wrote his songs and thought, I wish Kynleigh was here to tell me what she thought. It had been a long time waiting this, but it had all been somewhat worth it. He knew her, he trusted her. He always wanted her with him. Would she even be able to be with him after this. He was just so lost in this moment that he discarded all of those thoughts from his brain. There would be nothing to stop this night from being the image of perfection than it already was.

OOCOut of Character:
Sorry it's so short, and terrible

Goosebumps covered her body and she shuddered slightly at his confession to her. He'd always hoped. So had she, but she'd not really known it up until the time she had left school to return home. Elijah had always been the one person who never talked about her behind her back and though she'd never been a self conscious person it did get a little disheartening to have everyone think you to be a strange person. He was her person though...he always made her feel wanted. When he kissed her again lightly she felt warm from head to toe as his lips lingered on hers for just a moment. Kynleigh closed her eyes as he ran his fingers through her hair before looking up into his eyes. She could stay lost in those eyes...she wanted to stay lost in those eyes forever. Nodding in agreeance she let him lead her knowing full and well she'd go wherever it was he wanted her to go. The pair had so much to talk about and to catch up on and Kynleigh Davis knew that she had quite a bit of explaining to do, but all of that was lost on her now. All that mattered was that she had been there for Elijah's first headline performance and that they were here together now, hand in hand where they belonged.

It was perfect : ) Mine's a little short...sorry about that.

A smile lit up his face as the girl in front of him nodded. He couldn't help but feel completely incredibly. A feeling he'd not often felt before. He was just simply on top of the world and more. He couldn't help but be filled with an incredible feeling of happiness. The way she'd pushed her hair out of her face. The way her eyes looked even in this dimly lit room. He smiled at her, a small smile. One that most would only note that he got while talking about, a smile just for her. One he only ever had with her. He had so much to say, and yet the words just didn't come. He just nodded back at her, intwined his fingers with hers and raised his head. He smiled at the people still around. Shaking a few more hands as he began to walk through the crowd. Answering questions and smiling at the rest. Finally after what felt like an eternity he managed to get himself and her through the crowd and to the backstage door. Here, he dropped his hand from hers and put it round his waist holding her close to him as they passed the security. It wasn't much, but it was just to stop folks from wondering back where everything was havoc. A few of his bandmates congratulated him on a good show as he passed through a second door leading away from the stage. Here, he glanced round to Kynleigh and smiled. An almost, almost there kind of smile. He pushed a last door open and let Kynleigh walk in first. "This is mine." He somewhat introduced. Before he could close the door behind him, his tour manager, and the guy helping him out in everywhere possible walked over to him, and whisper a few words in his ear. This brought a bigger smile to his face. This night couldn't be more perfect. It would always be because he'd always felt Kynleigh was his lucky charm. The girl that motivated him into knuckling down and just working on the album. Working and releasing the EP.

"I can't believe you came." Elijah happiness was clear in his voice. He was just so unbelievably happy, the show had put him on a high. This had put him on an even bigger high. He had no idea how she could've heard. Was it through the muggle websites. The interview he'd done with the local paper. Any of those would've lead her to know what he was doing that show on that evening. He stood at the now closed door, just staring at the beautiful blonde before his eyes. "You look," He finally took her fully in. She wasn't completely as he remembered, but they'd both grown up. They'd both changed. "beautiful." He finished, letting out a breath he had no idea he was holding in. "How long has it been?" Elijah truly didn't know. It felt like forever, and yet, it was like the last time he'd seen her was just yesterday. He wanted to tell her how much he'd missed her. How much it had hurt him when she'd left. He took a few steps towards her, now hesitant. He just wanted them to live in that moment, but the courage was escaping him. He had so much to tell her,how much had changed. How he'd just gotten up and left, traveled to Australia, and just work hard at the album, how he hadn't spoken to his parents in close to a year. He wanted to know all about her. Where she'd gone. What had happened in her life. Had she even missed him? Surely, he was hopeful. Since she was here on this night, he could only assume yes. "Sponsors will be coming to my next few shows. If I'm lucky, I could get signed. I could do this for a living." Without further warning, a high smile erupted on his face and he very almost jumped for joy. All he'd ever could've possibly dreamed might be coming true. He didn't need much, but this was amazing.

The blonde let Elijah lead her through the crowd of people and back through a door. She simply grinned as there were people who wanted to shake his hand and tell him how wonderful he was. Kynleigh was practically bursting with pride. She had always known how wonderful he was and now so did everyone else. She wanted nothing more than to hug each and everyone of his fans because they'd help boost him to the success that she'd always known he was capable of. They continued on until a man stopped Elijah and leaned in to whisper something to him, though what it was about she wasn't really sure.

They were finally alone and Kynleigh could only manage to stand and stare at Elijah with a smile on her face. She didn't want to ruin this moment with words just yet. Her eyes softened and face flushed when he told her she looked beautiful, but her eyes went sad when he'd asked her how long it had been. She inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly and looked at the floor, uncertainty flooding her. Finally her words came to her as her brown eyes glistened with moisture. "Almost two years. Too long," she said shrugging and kind of hugging herself. "I kept meaning to write. I did...it's just that every time I started I was at a loss for words. I wasn't even sure if you'd miss me or quite notice that I'd left after a while," she said maintaining her composure, but just barely. She knew if she mentioned the reason why she left then she'd break down completely. Kynleigh looked straight at Elijah and added softly, "Please know though, that there hasn't been a day that's passed us that I haven't missed you terribly. And then I found this and figured it was my way of getting to at least see you again." She pulled out the well worn article she'd clipped from the newspaper, the one she carried around with her everywhere.

At mention of sponsors attending his shows and talk of him getting signed the young blonde was beaming at the boy she cared for deeply...the boy that in all actuality she loved very much. She placed her hand on his cheek, her thumb gently caressing his skin and smiled. "You did it. I always knew you would be able to do this and look at where you are. You did it Elijah and I couldn't be more proud of you," she said in a hushed tone.

There was a part of the teen who couldn’t believe where he was. He couldn’t believe what he was living. This dream that was now a reality, he could almost taste his dream becoming a reality. A sweet reality of what had always been a dream of his. It was had been an increasingly good reality. He’d been working harder than most others, even in school, he had always been working hard, maybe not at the right things, but he’d always spent his time with his guitar. In the beginning he wondered how beneficial it would be. What if he changed his mind about things. If he decided that he didn’t want to be a musician, but he did. It was all he had ever wanted. It hadn’t changed over the years. It hadn’t backed down. From the first day the teen had held a guitar, he had wanted to play. A part of him always believed that with music, everything else would just in turn fall into place. That everything would just be okay. That no matter how had he tried everything would work out as long as he was still playing, and though it wasn’t always the case, it had worked out well for the boy. He had tried to focus on school, he had tried to pay attention in class, but after Kynleigh had left, he had little reason to. He had always wanted to impress her with good grade, and he wanted to be head boy so that he could impress her. But when she’d left he’d lost that movitation. So in all he had left. Closed the door and moved on with his life in the direction that he’d always wished for. He now knew that it had not been for nothing. That it had paid off. Hard work in the right areas had paid off in the long run. It would always pay off but the important this now was that the former hufflepuff was not that willing to give up his dream just because the love of his life had returned.

Even as she spoke, he felt bed, he hadn’t meant it in that kind of a way. He had meant it in a way of I missed you a lot. A, I wished it had never happened because you are an amazing person who is always will be dear in my life. ”Of course you’d be missed.” Elijah assured her. He knew he missed her, any of her other friends would’ve missed her. She was amazing. He didn’t know how he’d managed it without her. How he had suffered through all the long days and night. He had the entire time felt a little numb. Now, he was following his dreams most of the feelings had faded. But, seeing her in front of him, everything came flooding back. He smiled at her. As she said she was proud of him. He was proud of himself. he was following what would eventually make his life. His life goal. Music, Music and more music. He put his arms around her waste and held her close. Lifting off her feet, and while kissing her. He held her up in the air as he broke the kiss. ”Come with me.” He said, his voice quiet, hopeful that she would. Knowing in his head that she probably couldn’t. ”Go home, pack a bag and come with me on tour.” Elijah Knew it would be a long shot. Why would they, what would she achieve by coming with him. He’d be traveling the country. If all went well. He’d be recording and touring. Doing as much stage practice and everything else while with her. But, even if they got together their and then, but she didn’t go with him, he would always be faithful to her. He loved her. He was as close to love as a guy his age could be. He put her down. ”Come with me.”

Tears streaked Kynleigh's pink cheeks when Elijah said he had missed her. It made her heart soar. She had missed him more than anything, but at least after she'd first left she'd had her grandmother at home. The young blonde loved her Nana more than anyone and now with her gone the only person she loved anymore was standing right in front of her. There had been nothing she'd wanted to more than to run back to him, but her mother had kept her home. Refusing to let her return stating simply that she needed her at home. It was more like she needed her own personal slave to make sure everything stayed in tip top order at home while her mother went out doing Merlin only knew what.

Her breath caught in her throat as she was lifted off her feet. Kynleigh kissed Elijah back softly. She wished that it would never end, but she knew that he would eventually have to leave her to go off and persue his dream and she'd have to go back to living at home with her mother, but for the time being she was just going to enjoy being wrapped up in Elijah's embrace. Her lips went into a pout as he broke their kiss and the her jaw dropped at what he said to her. Could she? She didn't see why not. Her mother would have a sh1t fit, but Kynleigh really couldn't have cared less. What was it her grandmother had said to her? Hold onto him tight she heard her Nana's voice echo in her mind and she closed her eyes. She looked up at him and asked, "Do you mean it? Don't toy with me Elijah Tine because if you mean it then I'll pack my things and never look back." Kynleigh kissed him lightly on the lips and added, "Do you want me with you?" She sincerely hoped he had meant it because she was ready to take off with him in a heart beat. She was ready to hold onto him tight with all of her heart.

He had never wanted to make her cry, he hadn’t ever meant to upset her. He had always imagined that their reunion would be filled with sheer happiness. It was one of the ideas that had fueled the songs he wrote. His motivation, because if he’d done well, finding her would’ve been easy. The one that got away would’ve been the one he’d choose to find. He’d always been aware that things wouldn’t go to his plan, as thing didn’t have a tendency to do that but he had known at the bottom of his heart that he would make it, that he would find her again, and even if she’d moved on he’d get to profess his love for her. Well, now that she was here, that she’d returned the kiss and seemed as happy to see him as he was to see her, he knew one thing for sure. He loved her more than he could ever say in an entire album of songs. However his mellow music being filled by tales of heart ache wouldn’t work so well as he’d found her, as he was with her. She was with him, and there could be nothing else in the world more perfect for him than them. Elijah Tine had always figured that she would’ve moved on. That she was here and that she was with him. He just knew that he’d been luck, that he had been so lucky to have her. Elijah had always figured that she was too good for him, that she was well out of his league. It was why he wasn’t keen of just letting her walk of his life, not again. Not now. Not after so much time and many realizations of his love for her, he wasn’t so keen to let her just walk away. It sounded a little possessive in his head, but he wasn’t saying that in that kind of a sense. He loved her.

”Yeah. I mean I’d have to clear it with my tour manager, but yeah.” Elijah put her on the floor and smiled. Not drifting his eyes from hers. He leaned in. ”In fact,” Elijah kissed her lightly on the forehead before walking to the door. He opened it and walked to find the tour manager. The place was small, so it wasn’t hard to find. Elijah was quick in asking and the manager was keen to have someone else. Saying it would balance things out, and keep him more balanced and grounded. Plus, he hadn’t brought anyone or anything else. On the first day of this small tour, Elijah had arrived with only his guitar and a few plectrums. Elijah raced back to the room, and smiled as he closed the door. ”So, it’s been cleared. If you want to come, you can.” Elijah smiled at her. ”Pack a bag, come with me if you want. I want you to come, so much. I don’t want to lose you again.” Elijah closed the distance between them, placing his hands on her waist and lightly kissing her forehead. ”We leave tonight, once everything’s packed away. So, if it’s a yes then you need to do it now.” Elijah leaned out and smiled at her. ”Kynleigh Davis, I’m pretty falling for you, please come on tour with me?”

Kynleigh looked curiously as Elijah walked away from her for a few minutes and then came running back to her. If she wanted to come the she could. Elijah wanted her to come. He didn't want to lose her again. The blonde let those words sink into her brain...into her heart. She closed her eyes and smiled, but then panic slowly began to set in. She lived two hours away. There was no way she could make it all the way back home and all the way back here by the time that they were all packed and ready to move. Ideas started racing through her brain. Once she got home she could pack quickly and head to Brightstone and pay someone a few galleons to have someone apparate her back here.

"I have to go right now then. It takes me like two hours to get home, but if I significantly break the speed limit then I can easily make it in less time and then I'll hurry and pack a bag and I'll go to Brightstone and have someone apparate me back here because I can't keep my mothers car," she said quickly in one breath before inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly. She grinned and kissed Elijah lightly on the lips before adding, "And I've fallen for you. I don't want to have to miss you anymore so I best get this show on the road."
