One of the first things Remy decided he loved about Hogwarts was the food. There was plenty of it to go around, and it was delicious, too! The best part of Remy's day was going to dinner because of all the food that was available to him. The mouth watering desserts in particular were his favorites and he couldn't wait to try a different kind of sweet treat every day. The only downside to liking the desserts more than anything was having to wait the entire day, and even until dinner was over to chow down on them. It meant that eating breakfast and lunch was boring in comparison and seemed like a chore.

That day was no exception to this and Remy found himself sitting at the hufflepuff table that morning, mindlessly swirling his spoon in his bowl of cereal and hoping he could have something more sugary to start his day. Plain cornflakes just did not cut it when he was thinking about how he would prefer a large piece of chocolate cake, or a bowl of ice cream. He sighed, looking up from his breakfast and around the Hufflepuff table, smiling when he made eye contact with one of his fellow first years but not making the effort to start a conversation.

Geo still hadn't gotten used to spending so much time away from her usual friends, and knew she'd had to eventually make more of an effort to get involved with those in Hufflepuff. It had been completed unexpected, and deep down she was still somewhat upset that she'd been cast away from Gryffindor and from Leila and Jess.

The first year had been up early that morning. As soon as the morning curfew was broken, she was straight out the door and had been jogging around the grounds. There was nothing more relaxing than knowing you could be productive while everyone else was asleep. Despite having the ability to have body shape she wanted, she enjoyed being athletic, and starting Hogwarts wouldn't break that any time soon.

As she had made her way to the Great Hall that morning for breakfast, she instinct was to search for some protein. Sitting down at the yellow table, trying not to be too disheartened at those on the red, she tucked into a bowl of scrabbled eggs. Sitting alone, it was as she preferred it. Especially in the mornings. Those in her dormatory were lovely but were also quite loud and therefore exhausting. As she looked around her own table she caught sight of a boy she'd not yet been introduced to. Being one to at least know the names of those she'd been having classes with, she sent a small smile his way. He too seemed to like his own company, but it was nagging at the girl that he was simply just playing with his food. Maybe something was wrong and he had no one to talk to yet?

Sliding down the bench as to be sat opposite him, Geo introduced herself in what she could imagine was the most normal way. "You're a first year too right?" She smiled, believing she'd seen him around classes at least. Glancing down to his soggy cornflakes, she commented "Boring, isn't it?" The food here wasn't the greatest, and quite frankly she would prefer to be eating the cupcakes Elly had hidden away, but food was there for nutrition and you couldn't live on cake. "Where's your friends?" She asked, trying to keep the concern out of the voice.

Remy had smiled to the girl his eyes landed on out of politeness, so he hadn't expected her to approach him and start a conversation. But he certainly wasn't complaining for the distraction from his annoyingly bland breakfast as he looked up to see her sit beside him. He smiled again, then nodded as he listened to her words. "Wish I could at least put some sugar on it, ya know?" He said, looking into the bowl and swirling the contents around with his spoon before looking back to the girl. Her next question made him wonder if he looked antisocial or lonely while trying to eat his breakfast, even if the last thing he felt was lonely, and all his woes were due to his disdain towards the food, or lack thereof. But he simply smiled again and answered her question. "I don't have anyone to sit with yet, my brother would sit with me, but I don't know where he is." Remy explained with another nod. He placed his spoon in his bowl, then turned to face the girl, placing his elbow on the table and propping his head up on his hand, evidently choosing to forget his breakfast. It was the most important meal of the day, but not worth the fuss if it tasted like soggy cardboard. He was sure his cornflakes tasted exactly like he assumed they did and thought nothing of dismissing his bowl as he introduced himself to the girl. "The names Remy." He said. "What's yours?"
