So far Luna hadn't been a fan of either dances the school put on. She had attended some but generally skipped them, they weren't much fun when the only prospect was going alone. She decided that she would go to the Valentines ball this time around instead of wallowing in the common room feeling sorry for herself, or worse still, doing homework. Luna put on a dress she had been looking forward to wearing and after admiring herself in the mirror for a few moments she made her way to the Great hall. The Slytherin didn't care that she was alone and dateless, she was determined to have a good time, even if that meant having fun by herself.
