Hi guys!! I feel like I've finally got the lay of the land again so am ready to throw out my characters for some plots please!!

Marisol Woods
hot-headed, snarky, loyal, adventurous

This one will be long but it's only because I have like nearly 20 years of her life to account for and for those who aren't aware of her lore!

Spoiler: Marisol lore

Marisol is a werewolf (got bitten at 11) and has been pretty secretive about that her entire life.
In her final year at school, she found out her good friend (Merrill Piper) was the daughter of werewolf hunters and felt totally betrayed by that (even if Merrill was the one who turned her parents in ) so as soon as Marisol graduated she fled New Zealand and spent her early 20s traveling around South America/The States (where her family is from) to avoid being tracked/hunted. She mostly kept a low profile and lived a nomadic lifestyle for many years and learned to love camping and being outdoorsy through this. There were some times she did have to go without Wolfsbane Potion when money or ingredient accessibility was tight. I like to think she made friends with other witches/wizards among her travels but she kept them at arms length so they don't find out her secret. If you think your character could've been one she ran into throughout her travels they could be friends!

Marisol returned to New Zealand around 10 years ago when she heard news that her friend & fellow werewolf Alistair Lancaster killed Olive Layton to try and find out what happened. With the exception of Briar Rowen-Cullen (whom Marisol has not been fond of given how vocal she is about being a werewolf ), pretty much every single werewolf she's known has either died or gone into hiding so she feels justified in keeping that secret as close to her chest as she can because it's how she's survived this long.

Since returning to New Zealand 10 years ago she has been working as a receptionist at St. Mungo's which offers her a stable job and close proximity to pepper up potions, etc. after rough full moons. If you think your character could've met Marisol as a coworker (Healer) or even patient; frequent visitor of a patient that Marisol checked into the hospital regularly, then let me know! But a sedentary lifestyle has bored her so she recently quit and now owns Quality Quidditch Supplies She also has 3 dogs (a golden retriever, a mini bull terrier, and a crusty white poodle mix (every Hispanic household has one)), which has helped keep her grounded in NZ so she doesn't run again, and they also keep her company during full moons.

Other than that I am mostly just looking for friends/flings for Marisol! She is not the nicest person but once she's your friend, she's loyal af and attaches for life.
She doesn't plan to have children because she's too afraid to accidentally lose control in front of them (just one wrong ingredient in her potion and it's useless!, plus Alistair's situation scared her senseless). She was in love with her best friend Wyatt since school but they've been stuck in a will they/won't they situation because they could never quite get their timing right (aka the rper is no longer on the site ) so while she mostly only does flings it could be interesting to see if someone gets her to let her guard down again.

Please feel free to look at the social media au I created to sort of tell her post-hogwarts years story of her travels or look through her aesthetic (though a lot of it is focused on her/Wyatt) but you can get her overall vibes from it.

Sofia Gutierrez
sweet, overachiever, introspective, quiet confidence

Sofia is from the Philippines and is the only daughter in her family of brothers. She is very sweet and polite but has also learned to stand up for herself as the only girl and middle child. She can come off quite shy but she's not, she's just reserved. She has a moral sense of integrity and righteousness and although she doesn't like to be rude or impolite, she is willing to call people out when she sees something wrong being done, even if it takes all of her courage to muster it up.

She has a genuine sense of curiosity and wonder about what the world has to offer. Because of this she's a bit of an ambitious overachiever as she tries to find her purpose or place in life to the point where it can be detrimental. What she wants is a place to belong or a calling of sorts but has to remember not to get lost looking ahead so much and live in the moment. She is looking for loyal friends who can either study along with her or the opposite, help her relax and show her there is more to life than studies!

Knox Cooper
geeky, curious, excitable, optimistic, charismatic

Knox is an orphan from Australia and is a bit of a geek. He doesn't know how to like things casually even if it's embarrassing. When he finds a new interest it's all he thinks about and wants to discuss endlessly. He loves comic books, video games, and collecting things, collecting anything. At the moment he's really interested in Chocolate Frog cards because the wizard who arrived at his orphanage to tell him about his magical abilities gave him one as a treat, and he finds the moving cards fascinating. It was his first 'taste' of magic so now he's on a mission to collect them all. He's just a fan of all things fun and magical.

He's been an orphan his whole life but it's never bothered him as he generally has an optimistic outlook on life. He's a little bummed that since he'll be at a boarding school for most of the year his chances of being adopted are now even slimmer, especially as he starts to age out of the cute age, but he's always believed what's meant to be is meant to be. However, ever since coming to Hogwarts a few DADA lessons have him questioning his parentage all of a sudden. He's starting to wonder if his parents were also wizards or if they were Muggles, and it's got him thinking of families more which he never used to dwell on.

He is just looking for friends to do fun things with, play wizards chess, gobstones, Quidditch, anything fun, he doesn't mind trying new things! He has no problem adapting and going with the flow and can be a great alibi and confidant for anyone. Since living in an orphanage he's used to being sneaky and resourceful and sticking to a story if they get caught, etc.

(Spoiler alert he is gay but he hasn't realized it yet At the moment I think Professor Alcott and/or the Head Boy Teddy will be his gay awakening but he won't realize it until he looks back on his actions/thoughts of that time )

Beau Pratt
charming, perfectionist, ambitious, insecure, pretentious

Beau is a fourth year from Beauxbatons and is extremely ambitious. He doesn't like to do things unless he is the best at it and works hard to be the best at it. He comes from a large wealthy family so he's a bit of an arrogant snob and likes living lavishly. His full name is actually Beaumont Pratt IV so he feels like he has to live up to his family name. He is a sporty guy but also loves history and languages (his father is a translator) but he thinks French is the best, obviously. He is secretly insecure because he feels he has a lot to prove, mostly to himself, but he hides that insecurity by being cocky. I had him tryout for the Beauxbatons quidditch team but he hasn't technically made the team yet until they announce the lineup.

I don't like to leave my 'Other Students' without plots so I try to use them as much as I can! I am hoping he can make friends with other current Beauxbatons students but I'm also a sucker for long distance relationships/friendships through letter writing and meet ups during breaks! At the moment I'm not sure how he can become friends with others until there is a Quidditch game that allows for them to meet (that is, if he makes the Quidditch team ) so plots will have to wait until that happens, buuuut perhaps your character has a friend of a friend or family member who goes to Beauxbatons and knows him, so they can know of each other that way, etc. Haven't really decided his sexuality yet, I'm thinking he is bi-curious but leans more straight for now.

Sofia can suggest Elysia Bailey. She is quite insecure because she is afraid that nothing will work out and she will disappoint her aunt and uncle. Or I can suggest Zack Choi, he really likes to dance and sing, and also learn to help others if needed.
Beau can suggest Aelora Pretorius she is studying at Beauxbatons this year, so she would need a friend to help her settle in.

Yes, she moved from New Zealand to France when she was young. Before that, she studied at Hogwarts.

Hey Abby, I have a few thangs I could offer you as long as my brain can muster up anything coherent...

Okay so for Sofia I can offer a friend in the form of my second year Juniper, Juni is also very sweet and sensible very much also looking for her place in the world still as well. I could see them studying together or taking nice walks along the lake, though Juni isn't likely to suggest anything outrageous and dangerous even if just to wind down. She's more of a peaceful nature oriented girlypop, if that's something Sofia could use in a friend!

Then forrrr Beau I have my third year Beauxbatons Colette, I don't have her all that figured out yet but the idea is a fire cracker so I could see a possibility if they both make it on the team for some subtle rivalry during Quidditch and some bater based on that. She's the youngest of three with two older brothers and isn't afraid to talk her mind especially if someone's being cocky about something

Last but not least for Knox I can offer up my Eris, shes also an orphan but was raised by her father's adoptive sister and her husband. She's down to do anything really and spends most if not all of her free time out of the dungeons so a game of wizard chess? She's down. (even if her rp:er doesn't know anything about the game we can pretend....) Going to the forest? Absolutely down anytime!

I have a few offers for you
for Marisol i have options.
Willow Cullen - could be a friend. I think they interacted slightly at school on the quidditch pitch when marisol was in seventh year and Willow was second. willow is now an auror. She has recently (like over a year ago now so not that recently) had a baby and officially got together with her partner and is starting to settle into family life, though she has always been one to push her body to be the best it can be and i dont htink that would change (and it my have landed her in the hospital a few times)
Ivy Cullen - my fifth year lion. I did apply for her to work in QQS, so if she gets selected, something that is related. or if not she could absolutely buy somehting.
Briar Rowan-Cullen. they have history. and i am sure she probably saw her regularly at the hospital picking up potion. so i can offer her for whatever that works out as.
Rhiannon McGowan: a healer who she would have been. collegue with. and have that kind of work reltionship.

for Sofia i can offer
Fiona archer. they are dorm mates. I can see them as friends who run on a bit of competition Fi wants to be a healer so is a hard worker (even if i dont do classes with her) i am not RPing with her that much at the moment as i need to re-submit an app for her and want to see if it gets approved before i use her too much. but we can still do something small.
