[A Little Deeper
[Personality:] Joanna is a young and lively girl. She makes friends easily but when she doesn't like someone she can be very reclusive and rude to them. As part of her genetics almost it is common for her to have a short temper when she doesn't get what she wants. Growing up she became very used to a luxurious lifestyle with servants and house-elves to do whatever she wished. She is prim and proper and likes to feel better than most other people. She has a strong hatred for muggles ever since reading about them in books, mainly from pure-blood supremacists point of view and ever since she realised it was due to muggle ways her father died
[History:] Joanna doesn't remember much of her childhood and what she does remember of it didn't have a lot of happy memories. Sure the time her and her mother spent together was great, and she was too young to realise that there was a lack of a male presence in her early years. That was until her mother got remarried, to Alphonse Snow, and he became a constant presence in her life as did the new brothers and sisters Joanna had got out of the new situation. Being at such a young age she obviously didn't realise the change in her living arrangements and the Snow Manor soon became her home, learning the secret hide-aways and keeping herself somewhat secluded from everyone else because her mother was always with the babies and the babies were too young for her to play with.
Joanna always knew she wasn't quite the same as her younger siblings, she even had an idea that the man that they all called father wasn't her's, the fact that he barely even acknowledged her was the first inclining that she had in this conclusion. As with every young child, Joanna's curiosity got the better of her and began to question her mother on her place in the family. This is when Joanna learned of her fathers death on the day of her birth. Initially it upset her, at her young age, but as time went on she started to become more interested in the other half of her heritage, her muggle side. Although growing up in the Snow Manor, a well known family in the wizarding world, especially in the dark arts, all the books she read showed the bad side of muggles, the side that would kill witches and wizards just because they were different.
From then on in Joanna began to hate her other half and asked her mother if she could no longer have her fathers surname, she hated it and didn't want to have anything to do with it. Instead of taking her fathers name and she decided to take her mothers maiden name - she could of taken Snow seeing as her mother had but she didn't really feel like part of the family and didn't want to have to be tied to it. When it came time for Joanna to attend school she joined a number of her siblings and started Hogwarts New Zealand. She was sorted into Slytherin but unfortunately she couldn't get away from her siblings as there were some Snow Slytherin also sorted along with her.
