Name:

Jessie is named after her Aunts neither of which she ever met. Louise lives on the other side of the world and Jessica died in mysterious circumstances before Jessie was born. Jessie like her given name comes from her deceased aunt and has its origins in her fathers inability to say his sisters full name as an infant.

Nicknames:

As Jessie itself is a variation of her given name most people take this to be her nickname. Jessie has met the occasional person who upon learning her full name has opted for the more traditional "Jess""

Date of Birth:

November 1 2020

Setting the tone for her life Jessie was born on the exact day she was expected at Saint Christopher's University Hospital in Seattle.

Heritage:

Jessie is English by blood, American by birth. Born in the city of Seattle and for a time raised there before moving back to England where she developed a regional accent and adapted to her English roots.

Relationships and Sexuality:

Jessie is too young to have given relationships any consideration but as far as she knows she is straight.

Family

Father:

Luke Archibald Vega

Son of an English businessman. Born into money. Rather than follow his fathers footsteps Luke went out on his own and studied in the states where he met his future wife. Luke is a muggle and has limited knowledge of the magical world and prefers to keep it this way. He was close to his two sisters when he was young but when his sister Jess died he and his surviving sister drifted apart, despite this both his sisters became namesakes for his only daughter.

Mother:

Aurora Rose Jakes

A witch and Gryffindor graduate of the original Hogwarts. At the age of 18 she went to the states to see the world with her best friend. It was on this trip she felt fellow Brit Luke while he was studying. Upon leaving school Aurora had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. After meeting Luke she became inspired to make the most of her life and with the aid of her immaculate NEWTS she began training as a Healer.

Jessica was very much like Jessie when she was young, thoughtful, a stickler for the rules, a bookworm. Jessica was a very intelligent women and a big sports fan. Luke doesn't like to talk much about her as he feels cheated out of knowing her as she died when he was so young. Jessica hardly knew her brother when he was growing up as she was away at school for his first seven years. She died in mysterious circumstances when she was nineteen.

Aunt:

Louise Vega

Louise has since drifted out of Luke's life. Loosing her sister affected her deeply and as soon as she could she moved away. As a result her relationship with her brother suffered. Louise was only sixteen when she lost her sister and couldn't get over it while still living in the family home. She now lives in Paris and works as a photographer. Louise is also a muggle and like Luke doesn't talk about Jessica.
