James strolled about the lawn, it was a warm, sunny day, but James had his hood up.

He looked around, there were a few students sitting in the shade over by the far end of the lawn. James thought about joining them, but changed his mind.

James carried on walking aimlessly, before sitting down in the sun. He pulled at his laces in bordem.

[Kasey Blake]

Kasey was reading in the lawn for the past hour under a huge shady mahogany tree. History of Magic was something she loved and she wanted to be sure to top it no matter what. O.W.L.S were coming closer every other day and all the fifth years were having goosebumps due to that. However, Kasey remembered that there always was a world outside books.

She stood up and slided her handbag on her right shoulder thinking of strolling for some sunshine before she went back into the castle for more reading.Many thoughts started zooming into her mind the moment she closed her books. One for instance was about the Qudditch match next week. She was playing as a chaser and need more practice so she could reach her goal. As all these thoughts occupied her mind she banged into someone and her bag fell down. She bent down to pick it up and straightened herself.

"I am sorry, I wasn't looking" she apologized to the boy whom she recognized as a Ravenclaw.

James's thoughts were on a song he had written a few weeks back, he was singing it in his head,

and if you jump, I will jump too. We will fall together from the buildings ledge, never looking back on what we've done..

He was interupted by someone banging into him. He saw a bag fall, and a girl pick it up.

"I am sorry, I wasn't looking" James looked up, then stood quickly. "Its okay. Im James, James Shirley" He introduced himself, holding his hand out for her to shake.

"Hi. I am Kasey" she said shaking the hand and introducing herself. "You are a Ravenclaw right?"she asked James with a smile. She recalled they boy from sometimes in the common room but well kasey was mostly busy with her studies to look up from her book and socialise with the common room dwellers. "I'm sorry we haven't met yet. My nerd side is taking over" she said with a small laugh.
