The skies grew dark one random afternoon. Not a ray of sunlight was left as the clouds accumulate overhead. It shouldn't had come as a surprise. That morning on the radio they predicted rain. They went onto say a storm was approaching. Rowan wished it did not. Like the radio host had warn, rain started pouring over Brightstone Village where she lived. "Well, Sunny." Rowan addressed the little parakeet resting on her shoulder. Sunny had been keeping her company until she noticed he had fallen asleep. "Back in your cage you go. No mailman for you today." Rowan went over to place him on the stick where he slept perched. "You can't go out with mommy today or you'll get wet." Rowan petted him. She left him alone to go back on the windowsill.

No matter if it rain, Rowan sat there looking out her window for a reason. The small witch was on the lookout for a parcel. It was from her mom. Rowan wonder what could that woman be possibly sending her?! Having lived with the witch all her life, Rowan wasn't expecting anything rich. She guessed some of her old stuff she left back in Canada. Whatever it was, Rowan waited for the mailman. And she thought she saw him, or someone approaching her flat. Rowan jumped up from the windowsill and hurry to answer the door. It was a man, she was sure of it. But was it the postal service?! The small witch walked out into the pouring rain to find out. "Hello there! Got my parcel?"

With swear words on his lips, Dominic was hurrying down the cobbled streets of Brightstone Village. It was still afternoon but the skies were already dark and soon enough, the rain started pouring. Danielle was not in New Zealand because of Harpies practices,so here he was, volunteered to house sit for his sister. The only problem was he did not expect the rain and he still had a long way till he reached her house.

The man was already drenched when he remembered that a colleague lived few houses down from where he was. Smacking his forehead, he quickly made a dash to the house, hoping against all odds that she would be home. He was barely had his knuckle on the door when it opened from the inside. The woman who he was unconsciously thinking of was on the other side of the door, asking him of a parcel. No word came out of his mouth due to the chatter that was about to start.

Rowan spoke without truly know the identity of the man. Squinted slits, she tried to make out his face despite the pouring rain. However, she saw no packages or anything on his person. Mistakenly, she thought Dominic was the postal service here to deliver her package. She smacked her forehead, coincidentally like he had down a few minutes ago while dodging the rain. "Wrong person! Sorry about that." Rowan pushed her front door open and gestures Dominic to follow her inside.

"Since you're out here and running from the rain, might as well come in to keep from getting soaked." The small woman lead the grown man into her personal space, which is pretty much normal in standards. Rowan took pride in living like a regular person, fighting off the stereotypes many with goblin blood noticeably in their genes. "Was waiting on something for mum, she likes doing everything the o'l muggel way. That woman." Rowan laughed, nervously. "I didn't know you live close by, are we neighbors?" she asked Dominic once inside and the door was shut behind them.
