Today was a rather tiring day for Ai Edogawa. She and the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team had just finished with their practice and she had to admit that it was quite tiring indeed. Most of her team members were younger than her by a margin as the oldest in the team were her and William and the next being Kelsey, the remaining members were already third years and younger and it wasn't like their team was a large one like Gryffindor's. Ai had tried getting fellow 'Puffs to try-out for the team but with their reputation in coming last for the previous year's Quidditch Cup, that didn't go so well. But at least, she had a good team and she believed in them. Their age was not really a problem and nor was their inexperience in playing in the actual game. In fact, she believed that the young ones were actually doing quite well as they practiced more especially with the other members helping out, especially in training the first years. She knew and she believed that they actually had a chance for this year. Who knows? Maybe this would be their year to shine and actually show them that Hufflepuff is not just all about being kind and loyal and filled with outcast. It was a welcoming house that valued hard work, and Ai, being a Hufflepuff for more than six years understood that in a great deal.

Panting from the practice they just did, Ai had laid down on the green grass to rest. She had dismissed the team as soon as they were done and let them go about in their own business. She knew they were all tired and probably wanting some of their time to themselves and she respected that. After all, she too needed some time where she's not the girl with a thousand responsibilities and just be a normal girl. Though being normal usually consisted of her being depressed and hollow. And that was mostly how she was being now, with her body, dressed in Hufflepuff Quidditch robes, laid on the grass and her long black hair sprawled out on the ground, her hands on her stomach, her features emotionless saved for her eyes that showed pain and sadness as they fixated themselves on the blue sky with puffy white and grayish clouds. The sky was quite a beauty to behold and it was a fine thing to look at for someone like her who lost everything and had been wishing for things to go back to the way they were.
