There was nothing, nothing Kimmara wanted more than to remove the revealing clothing she was wearing, and exchange them for something more comfortable. She would like to be back home, resting her brain; she'd even rather be in school than be in the office, waiting to be called in to see the manager. She had arrived an hour earlier that she needed, because she was given the wrong time by her brother, Silas. She couldn't stay mad at her brother though, as he meant well. It was just awful that she had nothing to do as se waited for the next 48 minutes to pass.

Kimmy shifted uncomfortably, hearing the familiar click of heels, of the secretary coming back from speaking with Mrs. Koma. "Kimmy, she'll see you early." The red haired woman told her. Kimmara forced a smile onto her face and nodded. The secretary was sympathetic to all of the models who were working with Koma, as the woman was consistently rude and grumpy. Kimmara's heels clicked on the tile, and she knocked lightly, before a harsh voice allowed her to enter. As Kimmy expected she wasn't even offered a seat before the woman began to not only berate her outfit, but to berate her makeup, and her performance on the runway a few weeks ago. Kimmy was silent, of course, as she had already braced herself. Her face was stone solid, in one expression; calmness. Then a noise caused her to waver, first to a frown, then surprise, as she turned her head and looked toward the door. There she saw a boy, her age, who seemed to have business; but why he wouldn't knock, was beyond her.

Killua hated going back to Australia. It meant staying in the Freecss mansion with his parents and his older brothers and that usually meant nothing good. His family planned for him to be the next head of the family but he was not one to agree to that set-up. He didn't want to be forever a prisoner in his home nor a puppet of his own parents. He had had enough of the sh*t that kept him away from being a normal child and he was just waiting for the day he graduates from Hogwarts New Zealand and after that, he's staying New Zealand for good and would not engage in any other business with his family saved for Mitch. For now though, he had to endure those missions again. Seriously, if it were not for him stalling Mitch's apparent wedding, and Abel staying in the Freecss mansion, Killua would have declined more of those missions that he loathed. But alas! If he wanted his sister to marry the one she liked in the future, and if he wanted Abel to get back to school after the holidays then he had to go to this pestering missions again. He really didn't want to go on and shed some redness again. It was a sickening sight for him who had long ago wanted to escape this fate. With a sigh, Killua had entered the building so casually and mentally prepared himself for what he was about to do for today. He knew for sure though that neither Mitch nor Abel would be happy to know about this.

Killy then began to think of his mission. It was an old lady by the looks of it. Not so old really. Just a grumpy lady whom was usually hated by a lot of people. If he had remembered correctly she ran some kind of modelling company and now, he was going undercover as someone who was applying to be a model. He didn't bother approaching the secretary anymore. The less people who see him and recognize him the better. He was not particularly trying to be dashing in his clothes anyway, though he did try to at least look like someone who could be a decent model so he could talk to that grouch of a lady. He had his knife prepared though. Concealed within the socks he wore, and a few more at his waist. He had his means of getting through security of course. It was quite easy to enter the back entrance with less security so here he was now entering the target's office. Though what he saw was quite unexpected. There was a girl there. Probably not even older than Mitch or him. He wondered what had happened, he knew of the old lady's schedule and she was not supposed to have another meeting in at least half an hour! That was supposed to be his window. But now, that was not happening. He felt relief and and frustration. Relief that he couldn't do the mission and frustration knowing that he'll be punished for this later on. He had come to New Zealand from Australia for nothing. "I see you ladies are busy, so I guess I will talk to you later on Ma'am. Though I would like to express early on that I was supposed to be applying to be a model under your company, but I must take my leave seeing as you are... preoccupied," the assassin said in the most charming way possible, half-waiting for a reply from either ladies. Well, more of the younger than the older.

Kimmara wanted to lick her lips, but her lip gloss wasn't going to taste good, and Komo might yell at her for wasting makeup. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. Being a Model had it's ups, but for the shy and apologetic Kimmy, it mostly had it's downs. She enjoyed some of the outfits, and she loved that she and her brother worked together; but she hated to have her picture taken, and she felt awkward answering questions. In fact, she was so shy, that many times her brother was the one doing her interviews. The fans loved it though, and they ate the fact that the two were so close right up. In fact, Kimmara was only popular, in her opinion, because of how unbelievably shy she was. it was an oxymoron really.

However, Kimmara didn't really have much more time to think about the reasoning behind her fame, as her and her manager's attention was turned toward the boy standing in the doorway. The first thing that Kimmy noticed was not his outfit, or his looks, it was his posture. There was something about the way that the boy was carrying himself. Immediately Kimmara's manager was outraged. She had said she knew nothing of an appointment, was yelling about how he got past the secretary. How she'd fire that 'good for nothing wench' and many other obscenities. It was an over the top performance, even for Komo. The woman, who in her fitted state, reminded Kimmara of Cruella De Ville; but she would not dare to even smile at the thought. It would only worsen the shouting, which was adding to the headache that Kimmy already had, from her hair being tied to tightly at the top of her head. The boy spoke calmly in the face of yelling, and left. Komo decided that she was done for the day, and sent Kimmara away, telling her the next time she should visit the offices, to dress like a model, not a homeless woman.

Kimmara saw the boy, ginger in a nice outfit, who seemed a smudge taller than she was. Normally Kimmy wasn't one to approach anyone and speak, she only felt it to be necessary that she apologize, otherwise her meeting may have ended with Kimmara going home and crying to Silas; who she was sure was burdened with enough already. Instead Kimmara caught up to the boy and walked in step with him, nervous just at the thought of being the one to start a conversation. Maybe just walking in silence would be enough of a thank you; though Kimmara doubted she would allow that to suffice. On top of her shyness, she also found herself burdened with the need to be kind, and to never let a good deed go unnoticed.

Killua was actually frustrated with the fact that he had not accomplished his small mission. It was supposed to be an easy one. Infiltrate, do the job within fifteen minutes as quiet as possible and get out as if he was not accepted into the job. But that was not what happened. Instead, his infiltration had been a success though the second part not so much. Merlin knows how much trouble Abel and Mitch would go through because he didn't finish this mission. That meant that he would have to double his quota lest he wanted trouble with his family if he could even call them that. With a sigh and a small frustrated scratch on the head, he had started to make his way out of the building. What he didn't expect though was a certainly girl following him. It might have only been his imagination, but with his senses and knowledge of things, and it was obvious enough that this girl was trying to follow and keep up with him.

Well, he had to admit though that she was beautiful. While not as beautiful as Aaren in his biased eyes, she was still a beauty who could rock a man's world. With a sigh, Killy had decided to give up in pretending that he was not noticing that she was following him. He was not irritated really or angry by any means. Just worried and needing a little distraction from his supposed work, and this girl seems to be a little welcoming that would suit him enough while he stayed in New Zealand before going back to Australia. He stopped walking abruptly and cut the path of the girl as he faced her. "I'm Kil. It's nice to meet you," he said with toothy grin as he held out his hand to shake if she was willing. "This may be a little abrupt and impulsive, but seeing as I have probably interrupted a rather important meeting of yours, I had seen a wonderful cafe on my way here," he said with a small hint. Well, he wasn't really planning to do anything really. But it would be a rather interesting day if she does not leave him so suddenly. "I was wondering if I could take you to a small drink and a little food to go along with it," he asked as he let his eyes bore into her pretty orbs.

There was a long silence between the two as she walked next to the boy, who was taller than her b a bit. Kimmara concentrated her eyes on the ground, trying o think of the words to say to him to thank him. Or at least trying to find the courage to do so. Kimmy felt her hair tickle her face as the breeze of the door opening hit her. She brushed the long ponytail over her shoulder so that she could still look down while walking. To her dismay though, the blonde locks feel back into her face again. Finally deciding to show some courage the blue eyed, thin woman looked up; just in time to come face to face with the boy, who had stopped walking and turned to face her. Kimmy let out a small sound that was a ix between a sharp intake of breath, and the sound a mouse makes when caught in a trap. There really was no reason for Kimmara to fear this boy, at least, not a reason that she knew of. Had she known why he was in that office at the time of her meeting, things might have been different. Kimmara may have been dead.

The boy began speaking to her, and she could tell he wasn't quiet from this area. His accent was much closer to Australian; though the two were fairly similar. Kimmara, who had an Eastern American accent, was very much so enticed by the boy, who not only wanted to spend time with her, but offered her out for drinks. It almost sounded like a date. Kimmara hadn't been out alone with anyone - boy or girl - since she used to have play dates. Since before modelling. Kimmara outstretched a bony arm, her thin fingers meeting his hand, which nearly engulfed hers. "Ki-Kimmara." She spoke her name to him and thought for a second, breaking the eye contact that made her feel a tad uncomfortable. Deciding that it was for the best, Kimmara once again made eye contact, her dark grey orbs boring back into his, and spoke. "Yes. T-thank you." Not only was Kimmara thanking him for the invitation, she also thanked him for helping her to escape the meeting, which had almost put a damper on her day.

Killua was grinning at the girl in front of him. Sure, he wasn't the most sociable person in school, but when it came to work, he can use his own skills, and dare he say, charms when interacting with people. After all, it was part of the job description that he have some social connections though keeping it to a minimum. And as far as he could tell, this girl can be with him for the day, and maybe if she'd bring him luck, he could get another window to actually finish his job seeing as he didn't want to come back empty-handed especially with Abel and Mitch's peace of mind in the line here. Well, it was only Mitch that knew where he was and what he was doing right now as he tried to make extra sure that his best friend would not know yet of his current whereabouts and current purpose of visit. Otherwise, it would invoke a rather nasty reaction and a nastier conversation and persuasion from his friend and Killy was not going to deal with that. And so, with nothing better to do, he led the way towards the cafe he knew, Kimmara following him or at least he hoped she was.

"So, Kimmara. What was going on with the manager?" Killy asked pretending to be innocently curious though his mind was working wonders on plots on how to get about with his job. "The cafe's not very far now by the way," the young man announced to the female unabashedly as he walked on though making sure to keep at a pace where the woman could easily follow him. After all, the had different strides and different clothing as well, though he was sure his was more comfortable. He hummed a soft tune as he went on with walking until the cafe he was talking about came into view and he pointed it to the woman with him. "It's just over there. We should talk more," he grinned at her as he watched her walk, wondering how tired she had gotten during the walk.

Kil, as he'd introduced himself, stood grinning in front of Kimmara, though she couldn't figure out why he seemed so happy. She didn't mind that he interrupted the meeting one bit, but he seemed to feel a bit bad about it. Silas told her to be careful around the male models in the modeling world. Since he was there and looking to be a model, did that mean she needed to watch out for him? He seemed nice enough, but she had been told that once someone was famous they'd do anything to climb the ladder to success; and Kimmy might just be a rung. regardless, the strawberry blonde teen walked beside him. Her steps were long and paced, even off the runway she was relatively graceful by nature. Kimmara wanted to put her hands inside of her pockets, but she couldn't - the jeans she wore didn't have any. Komo liked pants that weren't practical, but Kimmy didn't understand it. Where was she supposed to put her wand for easy access? She had opted to leave it at home with her brother, as the thing did not fit in her small, blue wallet.

Kimmara looked at Kil, and shrugged a bit, her eyes looking over his outfit once more before answering. "I'm in... trouble." She muttered, looking around at the fauna, rather than eye-to-eye with the rather handsome ginger. There was something about the way he spoke, something that was soothing. Kimmara reached up to loosen the ponytail at the top of her head, before pulling it out completely to let her long locks down. The tension headache that was caused by the ponytail was relieved almost immediately. She used her hands to move her hair to the side so it wouldn't cover her face. It pictures were taken of her and it was in her face, she could get in trouble with Komo - the woman said it wasn't attractive. "My outfit wasn't right." She elaborated, attempting at making more conversation, since most of the time her words died off and people left her alone. Now that she was away from the agency, she wouldn't want the boy to leave her, she'd easily be lost. "Talk? W-Where... do you go to sc-school?" The stutter in Kimmara's voice was ever present, and she was no longer embarrassed by it. Why should she be? Everyone had their own way of talking, Kimmara's stutter was almost like an accent for her, which laid over top of her thick, American one.

Killua was having a fun time despite the worries going on his head. He had pretty much a foolproof plan for what he was going to do to avoid the trouble with his family? Screw the time frame his family had given him. He was going to deal with that annoying manager later after his supposed date with Kimmara. He could consider it a date but it is definitely not a date date because he only had eyes for Aaren. That didn't mean though that he couldn't have fun for a bit. This was much rather like hanging out with an acquaintance. Yeah, acquaintance. "Well, personally, I think everyone's in trouble with that hag," the assassin laughed out though flinched a bit as he remembered that applicants were not supposed to insult their bosses behind their backs. Or were they supposed to? He decided to take the safe road down. "Don't tell anyone I called her that, I might never get the job," he said sheepishly as they walked closer and closer to the cafe he had walked past earlier.

Killy had suddenly stopped walking at the answer that was given to him by Kimmara. Seriously? She was in trouble because she wasn't wearing the right outfit? How can an outfit be right or wrong anyway? That manager was definitely not right in the head and that person definitely needed to be wiped off the face of the Earth if she did not appreciate outfits. "How is it not right?" he turned to look at the girl in question before starting to walk and adding a slight compliment with a shrug of his shoulders, "I think you look gorgeous." Silence overtook them and within two minutes, the pair had arrived to the cafe and went over to one of the vacant tables outside. "We're here," he said as he pulled a seat and led the girl to sit before him. "After you," he said before going to the other side of the table and sitting himself. "Well, yeah... Talk," he nodded and was quite surprised at the sudden question. Now that was a problem. He did not know if this girl was magical and this was actually the first time he had been asked about school. He was trudging on dangerous waters he supposed so he decided to try and steer away from that question and yet answer it. "School? I go to a really private school here in New Zealand but I don't really remember the name. And besides, it's not really known to some normal people," he answered with a small grin as she looked over to her and add a little flirting to their small conversation, "Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there some time if you're ever admitted." Killy knew that he was flirting despite him still courting Aaren but he decided that this was nothing more than making friends. Besides, this was his second friend that was a female. Abel didn't exactly count with his experience in making friends since Wolfie was a whole different matter and Aaren was introduced to him. All in all, this was his first time making an acquaintance with a female that he had met alone.

Kimmara's mind was a million places, she looked to the side of her and now there were buildings. It wasn't as pretty as right outside of the agenc. There was a fountain there, that had coins in it - but most important were the flowers. All kinds of genus and species, multiple colors and scents. Kimmy loved flowers, she had since she was very little. Her brother enjoyed ringing her new flowers when he went to shoots, and had taught her how to preserve them. Kimmy spent hours trying now a days - she wanted all of her flowers to look nice. She had a scrap book now, and she often times stowed them in their own pages with information on them. She had a special one for plants that had magical properties that she kept with all of her school things. At his next statement Kimmara giggled lightly. He had no reason to apologize - it was true, however she still reassured him with a nod. "Promise." She stated simply to him.

The boy stopped walking, and Kimmara followed suit. Had she said something awful to him? She felt as if she had made a mistake, she always seemed to say something wrong in these situations. She shrugged at his question. She didn't have much of an answer. "Just wasn't." She replied, following his steps again, falling into line with the tall ginger. However, her steps matching his lasted less than a second when she heard him speak once more. She stopped abruptly. She felt her face turn scarlet, burning from the top of her small ears all the way down to her semi-visible collar bones. She looked at the ground, she had to chose her next move carefully. He thought she was pretty. Why? Maybe it was the lighting, She walked, but it was seemingly less graceful, as if she was shaken up a bit. She nearly stumbled on her way into the door, but upon finding her balance sat down. She needed a minute to recover. His words slipped through her ear and back out. She wasn't sure what to say back, and the air was filled with as much silence as it could be - considering there were other people in the restaurant. Finally, a shaky breath entered Kimmy and exited slowly. " I uhm, you are." she looked at her lap. "You're face is." She sighed slightly trying to come up with the right word. "I like it." She finally said with a bit of a frown. She felt her face continuously red, hot, and she felt like she might actually melt. He thought she was pretty. A small smile came to her face. He thought she was gorgeous, not just pretty.

Killua could easily see that the girl had liked the placed he had brought her too. Well, she should since it would be a total failure on the Slytherin's part should he have brought her to a rather unpleasant place. That would be an unimpressive first meeting indeed. And so, he was grinning as she took in the scenery that the cafe could offer and he sighed in relief that she liked it. He never had much experience with pleasing the opposite gender after all. Both Aaren and Mitch were just about as easy to please as a cat with a ball of yarn. A cute cat. So, right now, he was practically wondering if it took pretty things to satisfy a female. He supposed he was right for the moment. "Thanks," the boy replied as Kimmara promised to him that she won't tell anyone, not that Killy cared anyway. He was leaving as soon as the old hag was dealt with and he pretty much figured it would have to be real soon. Considering that she was scolding people for wrong outfits. "Now that's messed up," he sighed before looking over to the menu. "What would you like to have?" he asked before looking over to her in question.

Killua couldn't help but watch curiously as the girl had seemed suddenly shaken by some turn of events that he was completely unsure about. "You okay?" he asked a little bit curious rather than worried really. At least she had managed to compose herself seemingly after a bit though she was not at all listening to him which was fine with him all the same. And then she started speaking, hesitantly too. He raised an eyebrow in wonder as he waited for her next words. I am? he thought as the words seemed to linger in the air. My face is? he thought in confusion as he tried to rub some invisible dirt off his face until her next words came past her lips. He blinked once. Twice. And thrice before he burst into laughter. A carefree laugh. "You're cute," he said in between fits before attempting to compose himself before turning his attention back to her. "So, you like my face?" he asked confidently though throwing it to a minimum. "Thank you," he finalized with a grin before winking at her and chuckling as he looked over the menu once again.

His thank you for her promise did not go unnoticed, but honestly Hag was not the worst she'd heard the woman called. In fact, Kimmy awful thought of worse things, such as hexing her into oblivion. It was legal, but she could think of it, couldn't she? After all, she went through daily abuse from her. Whether it was a hair out of place, or wearing clothing that was sloppy or too conservative, Kimmy couldn't seem to win. She hoped that the boy would find another place of operation - one that was not so terrible to their employees. She looked down at her menu, wondering what she should get. It seemed they had a fine selection of chocolate flavored things. She felt her stomach growl lightly. "Chocolate." She said. She really wasn't picky, and she'd most likely pay for it, unless he insisted. After all, didn't many men insist to pay for dates - was that what she was? Kimmy hadn't ever been in this position, so she wasn't sure what it was to be asked on a date. Whatever the difference was she was sure she'd find out by the end of this whether it was a date or not.

Kimmy's nervous demeanor did not fade quickly, or at all really. Her face and neck were blotched pink from blush, her hair hiding the burning color on her ears. Her hazel eyes were pointed anywhere but at Kil as he seemed to be thinking. She knew at this point that she'd blown this whole situation - friendship or otherwise. After all, she'd just stuttered her way through a compliment that came to most teenage girls with ease. There was something wrong with her, she knew that for sure. Kil's laughter caused her heart to fall slightly, and in embarrassment she covered her face with both of her hands, peeking from behind her bony fingers to glance at him. e seemed fairly amused at her, and while she was more than mortified, she did crack a small smile. "Really?" She responded to his comment. The word was out of her mouth before she could think, her voice a little more confident than her previous words. Her face was lit up like a Christmas tree, the smile making the blush seem all the more prominent. Her small, white teeth showed through this time, obviously pleased to be complimented. Kimmara worked in an industry where her boss seemed meant to demean her, to tell her what she could do better. To hear that she was doing something right, that she looked right, was a big deal for the young woman. She nodded at his question, she did, he had a nice face; with a cute smile. She also liked his eyes. Kimmara felt this feeling in her stomach, one she couldn't remember feeling before. Kimmy had never had a crush, always too busy to even notice someone else, and while she couldn't tell that a crush was exactly what this was, the sinking feeling in her stomach and the butterflies in her chest told her that's what it was. Now Kimmara wanted even more to speak with him, and searched for a conversation piece. "Y-you'd be a ..." She paused briefly. "Good model." That was a good starter, maybe he'd talk about his modelling experience, if he had any.

Killy smiled as soon as Kimmara had decided to give him her order. If she wanted chocolate, then she shall have chocolate. And for free too. Of course he'd be the one to pay for it. He had once read after all that men should pay for the women, though he never really understood why, he did try to do it often. "Okay, then. Chocolate it is," he told her before calling the attention of a waiter. It sure was a fancy cafe indeed but it was worth it, and besides he had the money to back it up. As soon as the waiter came to take their order, Killua started to look at the menu and state the order for the both of them. "Chocolate for the lady and coffee for me. Put mine on the sweet side. And do you have one of those doughnuts?" he asked the waiter curiously as he remembered his favorite snack. Well, he hoped there was some doughnuts indeed. "If so, give us some," he said with a small nod and let the waiter take off to prepare their order. The young man turned to look at the lady in front of him and smiled, saying something completely random. "I like doughnuts. Do you?"

Killua reallu found the woman amusing and so, he had to agree with his former statement. She was definitely cute. "Yeah, really," he confirmed for her with a grin as he looked at her waiting for her to say something and she couldn't help but grin. Yep, she was definitely cute and amusing. Especially with the statements she had been letting out her lips. "You think so?" he asked curiously before shrugging his shoulders and chuckling. Well, he really didn't have plans on modelling. And he wasn't even sure he'd pursue it. But hey, he was acting on impulse over here! "Well, you'll still have to guide me of course, seeing as you've been modelling longer than I have," he said as a matter of factly and merely said with a shrug of his shoulders, "I'm only starting." They sat in a bit of silence for a while until their order had arrived. They had doughnuts and he was happy and it showed on his grin and his normally cold and emotionless eyes.

Kimmy didn't think shed ever been in this area before, but the cafe was beautiful. She was sure she'd come back again later with her brother. She giggled as he seemed eager enough to get her chocolate, and didn't seem at all surprised. Kimmara was so sick of being stereotyped for her job. Just because she was a model, everyone thought she would avoid chocolate or any other junk as if it had the plague. That wasn't the case for Kimmy though, who was naturally thin just like her brother. Of course she still worked out to keep herself rather toned, but not nearly as much as her brother needed to. Most days Kimmy would veg out on the couch, eating junk food. She nodded at Kil, "Yeah." She responded to his question. "The chocolate ones are the best." Though her hazel orbs did not connect with hers, it was rather obvious that she was warming up to the boy. She just needed to be given a chance that she hadn't been given by anyone. She had no idea why this boy chose to be that person, but she was glad he was.

Her face seemed to be coming down from the perpetual blush that had dusted it. She wondered if he was like this to all the women he went. It might even help him in the career field. Everyone in the modeling had something about them that gave them the quality to be famous. For Kimmara it was her shyness in front of a camera, but her fierceness on the catwalk. Silas was his constant flourish of compliments towards women, and his strong jawline. She thought that Kil's charm would help him to beat the competition. She also found herself becoming partial to the boy, which in her mind gave him a small edge as well. She was sure that other models would become just as interested in him if he threw compliments to them all willy-nilly as well. Kimmy raised her eyes as the waiter came around, and looked at her partner, who seemed just as excited. The small chocolates were amazing, she could already feel her mouth watering. She placed on her her mouth, and then covered it with her hand as she chewed. It was a habit she'd gained when her manager told her it was rude to eat in front of others and let them see her mouth. Once finished her hand was placed in her lap. "You'll be good." She reassured him. "You're..." She took a breath, this time her eyes looked at his coffee cup. "Handsome." She said with a finalized tone, bringing her orbs to meet his briefly, her face once again becoming red. What was she doing? She knew little to nothing about this guy. Silas would lose his mind if her knew she was here, but a mixture of the chocolate and the dashing gentleman across from her made her care a little less.

Killua really, really liked doughnuts. He really did. After all, it was the first delectable food he had eaten after being cooped up in the Freecss mansion for who knows how long. He could still remember when he had tasted them. It was such a fine day that day. Well, except for the fact that he had just dealt with a bank manager or something that day really. Otherwise, his day was perfectly normal. He even managed to escape the family butler and earn some time to walk around town! He could barely believe that really and it was so frustrating. After all, he was one of the best assassins, and he couldn't even escape his own butler! Well, he supposed that was to be expected since they were at least trained to physically keep up with the family, or at least the most trusted were. Anyways, he had eaten his first doughnut when he was enchanted by a smell emanating from a bakery. And of course, with the money he had, he was able to buy some. Though of course, he hadn't really tried other flavors so hearing Kimmara giving a suggestion seemed surprising. "Really? I haven't tried the chocolate one," he asked surprised and really actually considered buying himself one right now or maybe later. But he'd definitely try one. "Maybe I'd try them sometime," he confirmed with a nod as he decided that he'll definitely get himself one before the day ends at least.

Killy continued to drink his coffee as he watched as the lady in front of him ate. He particularly did not understand women and their skinniness. Truth be told, Killy wondered on what was the point with that. Well, he could understand himself keeping his body in top shape, because it was purely out of habit by now. But with Mitch, she always seemed to be keeping her food intake in check and it confused him. Now, he thinks the girl in front of him too, since she was a bit on the skinny side. She looked gorgeous though and that was probably why she was a model. Killy couldn't help but chuckle at the words of encouragement she seemed to be giving him. And the compliments too. Merlin, was she amusing! He could almost forget that sometimes he's being hurt by someone who seemed to never look his way. But Aaren was definitely worth waiting for. He knew. "No need to compliment me that much," he said chuckling and then biting at his doughnut. "You should shower yourself with compliments instead and don't think any less of yourself. You're attractive. Don't let anyone else say otherwise," he said with a smile and a drink of his coffee. Yep, she should not be insecured.

Kimmara let the flavor of the chocolate spread out over her tongue and enjoyed every second as if it was the last thing she'd ever eat. Her brother didn't control her eating like it was recommended by the modelling community, and Kimmy was more than thankful for that. She smiled after finishing the chocolate quickly, taking a drink from the water tat had been brought to her complimentary. She felt as if she was more than lucky to be able to eat anything and still be underweight, but her brother was constantly worried about the way that she seemed to constantly be losing weight. Besides that, Kimmara hadn't even truly become a woman, but thoughts such as those weren't lunch conversation, so there was no point in her thinking about them. She was sure Silas was going to take her to a doctor anyways, so why worry about it? She kept her lips closed for a moment to run her tongue across her teeth and be sure that she didn't have any chocolate on them. The last thing that she wanted to do was have a ton of it on her teeth when she began to speak. "They're amazing." She said in a steady voice, again sipping from her water. Kimmara took a piece of ice into her mouth and sucked on it, regardless on if it was bad for her or not - she loved to eat ice.

Kimmy was unaware that Killua had even been watching her eat. The petite blonde didn't particularly mind though, as she enjoyed food openly. She didn't understand dieting, though she was aware many girls in the modeling industry did so. The way Kimmara figured it, was if she got chubby and couldn't model anymore it wouldn't be any skin off her nose. Her parents were the ones who were seriously into the modeling career anyways. Kimmy was about to sip from her water once more, but had to put it down for fear of spitting out what was in her mouth. She swallowed the water nervously, and laughed slightly. Her face was starting to get whiplash, dancing between it's normal cream color and the brash red this boy seemed to make it. "I like complimenting people." One sentence with no stutters down, the blonde was proud of herself. She was making friends finally - perhaps Silas would be proud. "Especially... Uhm, cute... people." Her voice slowed down with a few pauses in between. She suddenly felt a bit of fluttering in her throat. Sure, she enjoyed giving compliments, but it was hard to do outside of her head. She didn't flirt often, and she only talked about people being beautiful when her brother asked the questions that the reporters relayed to him. She looked at her water now, before slowly bringing her eyes to meet his straight on for what seemed like the first time since they'd begun talking. The eye contact didn't last long though, as she once again sipped her water and then watched the ice float around carelessly.

Killua was most certainly amused and enjoying the company of the woman before him. Why? Well, she was letting compliments fly past her lips and then blush all crazy red. She had not seen the female population blush that frequently around him. After all, he was trying to get a single woman, and she was just much too dense that he couldn't get to her. Though he would not have her any other way, for she really was the one who tugged at his heart from the very start. Though, he must admit that the wait was getting frustrating and slightly painful and he sometimes tended to wonder how long he would be able to take the wait. Perhaps a distraction was in order indeed. And so, he smiled at the lady in front of him and raised an eyebrow. "And now you think I'm cute?" he chuckled at her as he took another sip of his coffee and finished the rest of his doughnut. "You are quite amusing, Miss Kimmara," he said as he stared straight at her, hoping that she would look at him and he wondered if it took much for people to like him. He had a dark past after all. And even now, he has a dark present. Deciding to ignore that thought for a moment, he decided to flirt some more with the girl since she didn't seem to mind all that much anyway. "It's a wonder nobody's glaring at me with envy yet," he said with a small smirk as his eyes gleamed with playful mischief.

Though focused on flirting, Killy's mind has been roaming as well, and the one thing that couldn't escape his mind was curiosity. Curiosity of whether the girl in front of him was magical or not. He had never seen her in Hogwarts and though she was here in New Zealand, she could very well be from Beauxbatons or Durmstrang or home-schooled. After all, that was certainly not a new thing. And it wasn't like he could just blurt out that he was a wizard after all. He had to beat around the bush, indeed. "I have a question for you," he started out as he tried to put much thought into his wording. One wrong move and he could be banned from using magic or whatever law there was. "Do you believe in learning magic?" he said as he placed his elbow on the table and his chin on his hand as he stared at her, looking for any indication that she knew what he was asking. "Of course, not the sort of things a street magician does with parlor tricks," he said with a shrug at the thought of the fake magic going around that has been only known for the tricks. Wizard magic was a whole different league of course. Deciding to take one last push at the question, he added some more hints and if she didn't believe in these things, then perhaps she was a lost cause in terms of wizardry. "Like real magic. I don't know. Giants, mermaids, elves, maybe?" he asked with much curiosity, egging the girl to tell him the truth.

Kimmara was clueless to the boy's amusement, but that was nothing new for the young woman, whom was clueless to almost all emotional responses. As a silent child it would stand to reason that it should be the opposite. She should be able to recognize the same faces she uses for emotional responses, but life was funny that way. She shifted her seating position, left heel planted on the floor, right leg crossed over her left. She felt uncomfortable, vulnerable almost under his stare, meeting his eyes fleetingly. Her hazel orbs flashed between lighter and darker, glinting darker for every second she blushed. She was so embarrassed with herself, but she wasn't going to lie. Kimmy instead nodded a few times before looking down into her lap at her hands. Her fingers seemed paler than usual, and they were chilled. In fact, she was chilled now that she thought about it. Then again, she didn't have a jacket on. Her arms wrapped lightly around her midsection as she spoke, "Uhm, Kimmy." She corrected him, feeling that he was a good enough friend and person to call her by the short hand of her name. It wasn't common the people got far enough to use her nickname - not that it seemed to be taking this boy long at all to get anywhere with her. Glancing around, Kimmara gave a confused look to Killy. Envy? Why would anyone glare with envy? "Why envy?" She inquired.

Her attention was now on the boy, watching him curiously. She was intrigued by his voice and what he had to say, so far having yet to bore her. Kimmara leaned in closer at his whispers, and the moment he spoke of magic she knew what school he went to, considering he was in this area. It was the same school she'd been denied from, and she was sure it was because of her charms grade. Along with a few other grades. Her best was in herbology, which seemed to come fairly naturally to her. She was also fairly well in classes she didn't need spells for, such as history of magic. Though it often left her board. "Yes. I model for both." She spoke simply, quietly, her eyes meeting his finally so that he knew she understood. Unfortunately, as she moved to sit back, she managed to knock over her drink, straight into Killua's lap. "Oh!" She spoke, the loudest she had since coming to the boys side. She stood almost immediately, not hesitating to grab a napkin. "I-I-I'm sorry." She said quietly. Some people glanced over, but there eyes didn't linger for more than a moment. She placed the towel over his lap, not even thinking before attempting to help dry off his stomach and pants which were now wet. She felt awful, she most likely just ruined her chance at a regular friendship. She brought more napkins down, leaning over him, hair brushed over her shoulder to keep it out of the way.

Killua was quite unsure of what to make of the situation honestly. Yesterday, he was just trying to not get killed his best friend killed. This morning, he was preparing himself to deal with another target and complete the request of another customer. An hour ago, he had just missed the chance to finish his job. And now, he was sitting in a cafe, flirting with a girl that he barely knew. But perhaps that was okay. Maybe people were right in thinking that he was a heartless b**tard. He couldn't blame them. Not when he was practically using this girl named Kimmara to get past the painful feelings he still held for Aaren Nightray. He wasn't sure if he'll get past them anyway, but at the very least he was being relieved of some of the pain and frustration he had been feeling in the years that he had tried to get the redhead's attention. Killy nodded in understanding when Kimmara, or Kimmy, had basically told him to call him by her nickname. Well, he had already given her his nickname, or one of them at least, so he supposed they were even. She could learn his other nicknames some other time. Maybe when Abel or Mitch was around. Or Aaren. Killua mentally slapped himself. If he wanted to get over the girl, then he might as well stop thinking about her, though that was not working out well for him. He had to try though, didn't he? "Well, Kimmy. It's because you are an amazing girl, and I am the lucky guy that gets to spend this beautiful day with you. So yes, the other guys will start to envy me soon," he said with a chuckle as the last of his coffee was gulped down and his now empty cup placed on the table.

Killua nodded with affirmation at the girl's response. So, she was a witch and modeled in both worlds. That was quite a feat, and though Killy did not know much about the whole modelling thing, he was sure that she was doing great. "Hmm. That's great then," he grinned at her and began to muse about her modelling career and him being in New Zealand more often, especially after graduation that he should be able to escape the clutches of his parents. "I should be seeing you more often then," he told her with a rather flirty smile and wondered if she had ever thought of transferring to Hogwarts. It was the nearest wizarding school in the area. "You should transfer to my school. We could have more fun there," he commented and though he knew that his words would probably have a whole bunch of meanings, he couldn't bring himself to care. Well, they could have that kind of fun if she wanted to really. His musings were stopped as soon as he felt wetness suddenly gather up in his pants in a really uncomfortable place, and Kimmy suddenly standing up and attempting to dry him off. "No, no, no!" he exclaimed and blushed a bit as she dried him off and heard her apology. "I don't... uh... mind," he muttered though unsure of the fact whether he did not mind that she spilled her drink on him, or that she was drying him in an uncomfortable place right now. Though he supposed it was probably both. Killua couldn't help but focus on the girl that was currently trying to fix her mistake, and he just couldn't help but hook his finger on her chin and raise her face to look at him. "You should really stop or a lot of people might stare and recognize you," he whispered to her in a rather sultry voice as he stared at her lips. Well, screw everything. She was the one who had started touching him though under the guise of drying him. It was all too soon when Killua's lips had landed on hers. And though it had started out gently, the Slytherin was a very impatient guy that he barely noticed when it had turned passionate and hot.

It was really such an odd situation for everyone involved. Kimmy was much to innocent for her own good under the rather unsavory stare of the blonde in front of her. Something about the way that the compliments rolled off his tongue and the way he watched her shift positions made er heart skip a few heated beats. Her face had long since become a near-permanent pink, and her hair was rather messy. His words about how the others would envy them faded into the background as she continued her attempt to help the situation. She had tossed a few of the wet napkins onto the top of the table already, using a large amount of the dinky, white things to try and dry him off. The word sorry seemed to be leaving her mouth every five seconds, the petite woman unaware of how uncomfortable the situation truly was. Perhaps if she wasn't so sheltered by her brother she would have known to think before acting upon instincts, and her desperate need to fix a problem that she created. Though it seemed she was only making the problem worse. However, the worst part of the situation was unknown to Kimmara, and the fact that she was being used was not noticed by her. How could she know? She barely knew the blonde that she was getting rather cozy with in the small cafe.

Kimmy thought of his comment. "I was trying to transfer to the school around here, but... Charms." She stated, her voice rather quiet at the end of her sentence. "I'll try again." She said, trying to reassure the boy. However, with her face tilted away she couldn't see the meaning that Killua meant for his words - or if they held a meaning other than just hanging out more. In truth, Kimmara had no idea what he meant until a few minutes later. She missed his blush, and didn't even bother looking up at him until his hand was upon her face. For Kimmara to allow anyone to touch her was amazing -she'd had the same makeup artist for 9 years for that exact reason. However, when Killua touched her, it wasn't as if se felt anger or like she wanted to swat him away. A faint blush gathered across the bridge of her freckled nose, and she glanced up at him, meeting his eyes long enough to know exactly what he was doing. Suddenly, and without but a few words, his lips were on top of hers. Why that was, Kimmara wouldn't understand. In her leaning position, she managed to grip his leg, right above his knee, for support, not daring to move away for anything. Her eyes suddenly fluttered shut, and for the first time in her life, Kimmara kissed someone. There was a certain feeling of hot and cold, and a feeling of tingling butterflies in her stomach. She couldn't think straight, and all she could smell was the scent of the doughnut between the two of them. Kimmy had wished the moment could last forever, but there was a sudden tugging on her shoulder, and a deep voice spoke loudly to her, drawing the attention of the cafe.

"Kimmara!"

Silas was late, late by an hour. His sister was probably worried sick, and goodness only knows how long the meeting with Komo lasted, considering he wasn't there to interrupt the woman. It was frustrating for the boy, as his attempts thus far haven't gotten her out of the modelling life style. Shy of a deadly injury he wasn't sure what was going to get her out of it. The brunette man sighed, and looked up at the big clock on the building. And hour and I've minutes late now. Why did that shoot need so many pictures anyways? It didn't help that the owl kept flying off every time Silas moved. He wasn't so goo with animals - it had never been his strong suit. A cat he could handle, hell, a baby he could handle - he hated birds though. He didn't even have an owl, he just had Kimmy use hers whenever he was given a chance. Finally Silas reached the building and walked into the moderately warm room. The crisp white walls were a bit blinding, but he didn't mind, it was something he was used to. He was greeted by the receptionist with a smile, and approached grinning sheepishly. He was rather lucky that this woman was not someone he was attracted to, as it made it much easier for him to speak with her. "Hey, is Kimmara in her meeting still?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck. However, he was shocked to discover she was not, and had left with another model.

It was heartwarming, his sister was finally making friends on her own. It was something that didn't come naturally to her. Silas gave a nod, remembering the cafe he'd passed on the way here. He'd check there first, and then work his way down. The town wasn't too big, not the close part anyways, so where could she have gone? She wasn't old enough to apparate, and there were muggles around, so what did it matter? He walked with hands shoved in his pockets, and made his way down the cobblestone to the building. It was a cozy looking place. As he entered a bell dinged above him, and he glanced around, looking for two girls - his sister and the model that she was with. However, what he saw instead nearly made him scream. Silas's pale skin turned red around his eyes, his hands closing into fists. It only took a few steps for the boy to cross the cafe. His hand gripped onto his sister's arm and pulled her back, shoving her behind him. "Kimmara!" He nearly shouted her name, surprised by the fact tat pulling her away had left a small amount of saliva on the two teens lips. His blood boiled.

"I don't know who you think you are, or what you think you're doing but this is not okay. One this is a public thing, did you think you'd earn some sort of publicity out of taking advantage of my sister?" His voice drew pictures without flash and in instances videos. Silas was clueless to his siter, whom was near tears behind him as he continued to yell at him. "The fact that you're going to take advantage of a fifteen year old girl in a cafe is disgusting, and you should be ashamed of yourself. If I ever see your face around here again, i will wipe you off the face of the earth you disgusting, slithering maggot. Got that?" With his angry shouting finished, Silas turned on his heels and grabbed Kimmara by the wrist. His sister could look over her shoulder all she wanted, she would never see this boy again - at least he hoped she wouldn't.

Killua was truthfully enjoying the kiss he was sharing with Kimmara. Well, that was until someone abruptly pulled her away and began shouting of course. Now, that was just rude. They were free to do what they wanted as long as they were not against the law. And he was pretty sure that kissing in public was not violating any human laws or whatnot. Not like he had killed people while they were kissing right? And so, when someone had pulled her away and ended their kiss and started to accuse him of anything and everything. Killy could look at the person as if he was growing another head somewhere. "What publicity are you talking about? If I was doing this for publicity I would have brought the papparazzi," he asked confused and while he was sure that the people in the cafe were more than enough to spread the rumors, it was not as if he planned to kiss her from the start! And then there was also the advantage thing. Seriously, what was up with this guy? "I am taking advantage of a fifteen-year-old girl... What am I thirty? I am only turning seventeen mind you and I think she can kiss whoever she wants," Killy told him as a matter-of-factly and it was the truth. If Kimmy had not liked the kiss, she was more than welcome to pull away. But she had kissed him back! That meant the kiss was welcomed.

Truthfully, Killua had just rolled his eyes at the threat given by the man before him. Well, if he could follow through with the threat, well, good luck. If not, then he should not even be giving out those threats. And so, as soon as Kimmy was dragged outside, Killy stood and ran after them, remembering to leave money on the table for the bill and tip. "Kimmy!" he called out as he grabbed her wrist, pulled her to him and landed a quick peck on her lips. "Meet you at the agency tomorrow," he whispered very subtly and very quickly though enough for her to catch on hopefully. Deciding that he was pushing his luck, he landed another quick peck on her cheek and let go of her. "I'll see you soon," he called out before he ran to the opposite direction to avoid a fist fight with the brother. "I'll call you!" he yelled before he was out of sight.

Kimmara's face was more than red hot, and tears were forming in the corner of her hazel eyes. She wasn't crying out of fear, or out of loathing - only out of embarrassment that her brother had caught her. He was going to ground her. She'd be stuck in the house for the rest of her miserable life. In order to see anyone she would have to become like Rapunzel, and grow hair from the window to the ground. Not that anyone would come and see her, so far her friendships were limited to Abel and her brother. She had met a few other nice people in her travels, but she hadn't kept in touch with them. She wasn't good at doing things like writing letters and sending them. She just couldn't be bothered to with how busy she was. Besides that, Silas liked to read everything she wrote, like a mother it seemed. That's what her brother was. She felt a kind of resentment in her heart over the fact that her brother had made a scene, and her face was covered by her hands to ignore the flashes of the cameras. However, she couldn't keep her face hidden for long, and she was sure that the people in the cafe were taking pictures of Kimmy and her new friend, especially as his lips closed over her for one more brief kiss.

Her hands were only briefly on his shoulders, and her eyelids felt hot. She felt hot everywhere, actually. Her brother was yelling at the top of his lungs, words about killing the boy who was now out of site. He was scolding Kimmy for her behavior and how inappropriate she had been to kiss a boy. As Silas dragged her down the cobblestone, lecturing away, Kimmara touched her fingers to her lips. She couldn't believe that she'd received her first kiss. This was more than what she could handle, but rather than becoming angry or frustrated, Kimmara felt lighthearted. Someone had willingly kissed her. They thought she was beautiful. Kimmara felt special for once, and with that she drowned out her brother's yelling wit thoughts of Killy's words.
