Koboshi could finally say that atleast for her, school was finally over. She had never truly been a very big fan of school and it had gotten even duller after Alyss and then Tamalia left. True, she still had Nadia, but that didn't really mean anything. She missed the comfort of her friend Alyss. She missed Noboru and she wanted to see him, but she had yet to get up the nerve to actually leave New Zealand. She had also not seen her parents since Graduation seeing as they had not seen fit to come. Which really rather annoyed her. She just wish that for once in her life people would see her for who she really was and not the snobby nosed b!tch persona she put on as a front. It had taken Nadia and Tamalia a very long time to accept her, but they eventually had, which she was grateful for. Alyss was another person that had accepted her, but she acted so different around Alyss that it was hard to know exactly how she felt about her. They were friends, that she had discerned rather easily. What she didn't know was, why had that not been in contact for this entire time? She supposed it was partially her own fault, she didn't make any effort either, but still, she had thought that they would atleast send a few letters between them. She sighed and ran her fingers through her now short hair. She had cut it not long ago, having gotten rather annoyed with it being long. Long hair was nice if you wanted to take care of it, but she had not had a hair cut in a very long time and she had been starting to get headaches. Which was never pleasant.

Koshi had decided that she was going to go shopping for awhile. She had alot of her money still left from her Uncle and she wanted to blow some. Though she had to admitt, there was alot there, she was probably better off renting an apartment instead of staying with Tamalia and Nadia, but they were her friends and they wanted to help her. She sighed and walked down the street, looking around for somewhere to shop. After a while though, she realised that she was kind of hungry and instead went to find somewhere to eat. It would be nice to have a nice meal after a day of shopping.

Alyss tapped her foot impatiently against the ground as she waited for her coffee and chocolate croissant. It feld odd being back in New Zealand again, especially as she had been gone for so long... She had been busy playing Quidditch professionally, and Jeremy had been studying to be a healer that they had had no time to see each other, and yet Alyss could not help but feel betrayed that they had broken up. Well, Jeremy had stated that he thought it was best for them to break up because they were so busy and could barely see each other, and of course Alyss agreed with him. What else could she say? That she thought they should still continue trying? No. If he had thought they should break up, then Alyss would not disagree with him. She refused to be seen as the needy girlfriend. That was definitely not her style.

The waitress brought her coffee and croissant over, and Alyss glared at her, making the waitress quickly place it down on the table, and hurry away. About time! She picked up the croissant and broke a piece off, placing it in her mouth, feeling the chocolate melt. Croissants were her comfort food, and she hadn't had one for ages, not needing it. She had been so happy... And now...

Ever since their break-up, Alyss had been trying to distract herself by doing her favourite things. Shopping, eating her comfort foods, etc. but none of it seemed to work. The Quidditch season had ended, so Alyss had been home, shopping and enjoying herself as much as she could, but ever since the break-up she had felt so empty, and not even her favourite things had cheered her up. Not even this croissant was making her feel better. Heck, the only thing that seemed to make her seem better was when she snapped out at other people and made them seem miserable. Misery really did love company.
