Francis had had a brilliant idea. Well, to him it was brilliant, at least. He wasn't sure what others would think of it, but if it would help him make more friends, from any year but especially in his year, then all the better. He hoped it did though, and with this determination in mind, the Gryffindor made his way down to the kitchens, his recipes in his hand. It probably wasn't the best idea to just have loose pieces of paper like this as opposed to having them in a bag, or something, but the third year didn't think it mattered that much in the end. He'd asked his mother for some dessert and pastry recipes as well as a few starters. He was going to try out something new, as his parents had convinced him to do before he returned to Hogwarts for his third year. Francis was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't see where he was going. Before he knew it, the boy had collided with a statue. "Oof," he grunted from where he was on the floor, rubbing his head.

Lucie never went much further than the dungeons and wasn't usually one to go on an adventure unless it had a reason. The reason today was quite simple - she had missed breakfast time in the Great Hall and was far too hungry to wait until lunch. She had spent all morning studying and didn't even realise she was hungry until her stomach began making loud noises and disrupting her work. When she looked at the time, she couldn't believe it, and raced up to the Great Hall for something to eat, not surprised when the tables had been cleared.

Lucie was on her way to the kitchens, hoping she could snag some food somehow and maybe convince the house elves to give her some. She wasn't sure exactly how to get there, but knew the direction that it was in. Her footsteps were quiet, she was calm and collected, and she knew that she would be able to complete this task unscathed and without any of the professors knowing. However, she jumped as she heard a noise up ahead. It didn't sound like a professor, and upon slowly walking a bit closer, she noticed that it was a student on the ground who seemed to have stupidly bumped into a statue. "Get up now! We don't want anyone to know we are here." she demanded, suddenly deciding to take this boy under her wing. Perhaps he could help her if she pretended like she wanted to help him.
