It's been a while

Imogen smiled. She had no idea what she wanted for Christmas. It had been years since she'd actually recieved a real gift. Years. Pixie always made the effort to make something and Imogen had kept every single gift but it was different. This would be a bought gift. Immy shrugged.

"I really don't know. I don't mind. Buy me anything if you really insist on buying me something. What would you like for Christmas?" Imogen said with a smile.

Teddy thought about what he wanted and what she would like. "Well, Do you like jewellery?" He thought a little more about what he liked before asking. "Maybe a new rugby ball or something small like that." Teddy hadn't shown it much inside of school but he was a rugby freak outside the castle.

Immy shrugged, she liked jewelery, she just did not wear it very often. Imogen smiled at Teddy. She could manage to get him a rugby ball. That wouldn't be too hard at all.

"A rugby ball I can do that. Easy." Imogen said "I can't wait for Pixie to meet you. She's very excited about Christmas this year."

Teddy grinned. "Yeah, she sounds like a great girl. But really, what do you want? How about something to do with something you like."

Imogen gave a small laugh. She continued to shake her head. She really didn't want anything. She was not a very christmasy person. She liked cooking the meal and seeing the look on Pixie's face in the morning but that was all she liked about it.

"No, really don't get me anything." Imogen said. "And I am not going to tell you what I like, so you won't know what to buy so you won't bother." Immy added with a soft laugh.

Teddy tried to thinnk of things she liked. He remembered the clothes she bought, but clothes weren't something he could see himself buying without someones help unless they were for him, he remembered she could bake but wasn't sure if it was a hobby or just something she could do. "Okay, either I can get you jewellery, clothes or something you like to do. You like cooking don't you?"

Immy nodded at what he said last. She did indeed like cooking. She loved to cook. It was one of her most favourite past times. One of the only things sue could outright say she was good at. Imogen smiled.

"Yeah, I like cooking, I really enjoy cooking" Imogen said smiling brightly. "But really, I don't need anything"

Teddy racked his brains for a perfect present, he could get her some cool clothes and shoes or something like that. Maybe, if she liked cooking, she would like one of his nana's recipe's. Nah, she probably can already make the stuff. "The only things to do with cooking are my nana's recipe's anyway. Just some stuff about her cakes and lasagne's." He watched her expression when he mentioned it, just incase she would like it.

Immy couldn't help but think of this as a good present. It would let her try something new. And Pixie would able to eat something completely new. Imogen's smile seemed to grow wider as this seemed to be the best present to offer. Immy still didn't want Teddy to bother with a present but this seemed like the ideal present.

"No, really don't get me anything." Immy insisted.

Teddy saw her smile get wider at the thought of his nana's recipe's, though she insisted on him not getting her anything. "I saw that smile, I'm gunna get nana to give you her recipe's." Though they were meant to be top secret into the family, passed down to a girl of blood relation to her, he was pretty sure she would give them to her if he sopun the story slightly and said Immy could be more than a friend.

Immy couldn't help but giggle as he spoke. She had smiled and she still was. The recipes would be great, a real help to Immy who was always lookingnfor something new.

"And I was trying so hard to not smile." Immy said. "Where do the Welsh rugby team practice?" Imogen asked, wondering.

Teddy laughed at her answer. "Would you prefer snacks or meals or both? Nana's got them all." He asked. He was slightly confused by her next question. "Ummm," He tried to think but he couldn't remember. "I can't remember at the moment, why?"

Immy shurgged. She didn't mind. Recipes were recipes. It didn't matter what they made they were useful. Imogen smiled again.

"I don't mind. What ever is best." Imogen said "And there is no reason. I was just curious. As usual."

Teddy shook his head slightly and smiled. "OKay then." Looking down he noticed the time, his watch wasn't electronic and still worked in hogwarts. "Hey, I'd better go and write thatletter then. I'll owl you to let you know then yeah?" He asked, standing up as he spoke.
