Teddy made his way down to the lake. He was wearing some of the clothes his dad had sent him. He wasn't sure if he liked the style yet but it was certainly interesting. The jeans were baggy, yet strangley comfertable and the top was, well, that was interesting.

Teddy settled down onto the grass next to the lake. It was a wonderful day, sun was bright and he could hear the rippples of the water from the people standing slightly up stream were jumping pebbles across it. He could hear the laughs of the older students around him, just chillaxing with their mates.

Teddy closed his eyes and lead back, arms behind his head. He was properly relaxed and ready to get a tan when he heard footsteps next to him. Not opening his eyes, he could hear it was a girl, the footsteps were too light to be a boy. "Hi." He spoke, still unaware who it was near him.

Imogen sat in the great hall, her nose inside a rather book. She wasn't enjoying and her mind was in a completely different place than the words in the book. Finally Immy closed the book and pushed it away from her. She could feel the sun hitting against her back. She decided she'd spend the rest of the day outside in this warm sun. Quickly running up to the common room Immy changed into a red summer dress and flat White shoes. As she excited the room Immy took a yellow and red ribbon and tied it neatly in her hair.

It didn't long at all for Immy to reach the ground. It was a lovely day. Immy was very pleased about her decision to come outside. She began to walk towards the lake, watching older students laugh with friends. Immy did notice a boy her age lying on the ground. As she got closer Immy recognized who it was. Immy felt her heart flutter slightly. She took a small breath and gave a small giggle when he said hello with even opening his eyes. Immy stayed where she was standing.

"Hey" Immy said softly.

Teddys' eyes flew open at the sound of his best mates voice. Though he didn't fancy her any more he still loved seeing her. "Immy, hey. What you doing here?" He propped himself up on his elbows and grinned, wondering slightly why she had giggled. Teddy moved slightly away from her, only so he would be looking at her face instead of up her dress. He was ever the gentleman.

imogen smiled brightly at her good friend. She took a seat beside him and looked out to lake before turning back to face teddy to reply to his question. She smiled sweetly at him.

"Same reason you are, i'm here to enjoy this lovely sunshine" Immy said with a bright smile. "That is why you are outside?"

Teddy nodded and moved back to where he was before. "One of the reasons yes, inside was too loud. Wow, I never thought I'd say that." His grin remained on his face. "So, How have you been since we last met? Done anything interesting or learnt anything new?"

Sorry Lame

Immy nodded. Since they'd met she'd learn quite a lot. Immy was excelling in classes and was learning everything. She was pretty sure that these exams would be a doodle. She just had to make sure she could remember everything. Almost everything. Imogen smiled brightly.

"I've been very good. Quite busy. I've learned a lot of interesting things since we last met. I can fly pretty well." Immy said brightly. "What about you?"

Teddy grinned even wider when she said she could fly. "Flying's great isn't it? I haven't had a chance to fly since I've been here apart from the lessons." He thought for a second before laughing slightly. "I learnt that you can't get a decent nap in front of the Hufflepuff fire." It was a small joke he had now, every time he was almost asleep in front of the fire he was interupted by a girl from his house. Not that Teddy minded of course.

Imogen nodded as Teddy spoke. She was glad to here he liked flying too. Immy loved flying. It was her favourite sport of all time. Immy didn't really know any other sports so it was an easy win for anything that involved a flying broom. Immy also nodded at Teddy's remark about the hufflepuff common room. It was the same in Gryffindor. Immy had once been up very late studying and an older girl appearred to have been there a lot longer than Immy.

"It's the same in Gryffindor, I don't mind it. Gryffindor is very cool. I love it." Imogen said with a bright and cheerful smile. "How are you finding the other classes?"

Teddy thought for a second, maiking it look like he was sun bathing instead. He wasn't about to tell Immy, his best mate, that he had skived soome of his lessons. Of course, by some I mean most. "They are alright, some confuse me slightly but most are easy. You?" Teddy grinned internally, he thought he had pulled that off pretty well.

Immy nodded. She had attended her classes religiously. Immy had never seen Teddy in DADA and had wondered why but some people didn't enjoy lessons. Immy didn't know why but she was let it pass. Over time Immy figured she'd go to her classes less religiously. Imogen smiled brightly.

"Yeah, really easy. I do wish we learned more in classes." Immy said. "I've never seen you in DADA, we could've pair up. What are you doing for the christmas break?"

Teddy thought for a second before replying to her statement. "Yeah, I , umm, I don't join in much. Maybe next lesson we'll pair up yeah?" He knew he hadn't handled that one very well, he wasn't even sure what they had been doing in any lessons, the hufflepuff was just panning on doing the catch up work instead.

"I'm going home to my mums until Christmas evethen me and my dad are going to see my grandparents in Ireland. How about you, you going to see your sister back home?" Teddy knew how much Immy missed Pixie and hoped she could go and see the small girl for a small amount of time during the school year.

Imogen nodded, hopefully they would be able to pair up in the next lesson. She nodded again at Teddy's question. Immy had booked the tickets for the flights back home. She was leaving the morning after the Yule Ball and she'd be back the day before classes began. Immy was looking forward to going away. She couldn't wait to see Pixie again.

"Yeah, I'm going back home. I'm so excited. I haven't seen Pixie in so long." Imogen said with a smile. "We won't be too far away from each other this holiday break. I'll be in Wales you in Ireland. Maybe you should see if you could come to Wales."

Teddy thought about it for a second, it might work. His grandparents were always on at him to get himself a girl and his dad wanted him to make friends, there was a good chance they would let him. "That's a good idea. I could probably get permission if I didn't tell my mum. It would have to be the end of the holidays though. Is that alright?"

Immy smiled and nodded. She wouldn't have to ask. It would be okay. Immy guessed her dad would most likely not be home for most of Christmas, it was family holidays. It was family holidays that made Immy's family go further apart rather than close together. She knew why this was but never said it.

That's perfectly fine. It'll be better for me. I'll have had the time to tidy up and get the house back in order." Immy said with a smile. "I really can't wait"

Teddy grinned, he would get to see his sister, his parents and his best mate over the holidays. Add this together and presents mixed in and you get, in Teddy's opinion, the best time ever.

"You know what, I'm going to send my dad a letter today, not now, but today. He'll probably say yes, if not I'll have to work it a bit saying how happy his parents would be and how annoyed at him they would be if he said no. Then he'll say yes." Teddy grinned as he spoke, he didn't realise that Immy would have no idea about his fathers parents wishes for him to have a girlfriend, he also didn't realise he had almost mentioned it. It was mainly just him thinking aloud.

Immy nodded she didn't entirely understand what he was saying but she was glad he'd be coming to visit her. Pixie would be very excited too, maybe she could see if Pixie wanted to invite a friend to the house. Immy just prayed that nothing would go wrong during the time he came. She didn't even know what to buy Pixie for christmas.

"Do you have idea's for what I could get for Pixie, for christmas?" Imogen asked.

Teddy thought for a second. "Well, If she is girly girly then maybe a small make up kit, not to much in it but maybe just the basics. Or, if she is less girly, you could get her a small personalised necklace. Like a small pattern that says Pixie on it. I'm sure she'd love it." He had done almost the same thing as that for Trace but he personalised a Rugby shirt for her, she would only wearone necklace.

Imogen nodded. She thought that Pixie was a little young for make up. That would be better for next year. A necklace would be very nice and Pixie would like it.

"I'll get her a necklace, that sounds better." Immy said with a smile. "Will you be at my house for New Years eve?"

Teddy nodded at her choice, he thought she would choose that one over the make up. It made sence that she wouldn't approve of make up yet if she was over protective of her. Ted thought for a second, counting the days to see if he would be able to. "I think I might be." He counted the days properly and nodded. "Yeah, unless anyone in he household has a problem with it then I should be, why?"

Imogen shook her head. It would be fine. Imogen looked forwzrd to it. Pixie would love it too, she'd have a reason to be able to stay up till midnight. Imogen never let her stay up. To Immy it was just another night and another day. She smiled brightly.

"Nope, no problem. The household looks forward to it." Imogen said "what do you like to eat on New Years Eve?"

Teddy shrugged, there had never been a big new years meal at either of his houses. His mum and Darren always went out so him and his sister had a little party and, occasionally, he would let her havew a little bit of celebration wine in with her lemonade. At his dad's they always threw a huge party and invited anyone they had met in whatever counrty he was living in at the time. "I've never really had a proper meal on New years."

Imogen smiled simply. She was a little surprised that Teddy didn't have a proper meal on that day but she hid it well. Immy looked out the lake. What would she make. She didn't know what he would enjoy. She was sure he was the type of person polite enough to just eat what he was given but Imogen wanted him to enjoy it without pretend.

"Well, I'll make anything you want. Anything at all." Immy said with a smile "Just name it"

Teddy shrugged. "I dunno, what do you normally eat on new years?" He tried to think of approppriate foods for new years but all he could think of was cheesy chips and pizza, that's what they always had, and a bit of wine. "Also, what are you wanting for christmas?"

Imogen smiled and continued to think of what she could make. If she was honest she never really made New years dinner. She always made something smaller and then sent Pixie to bed before cleaning everything up. This year it would be different.

"Nothing. I don't need anything, so really don't bother getting me anything. Also, Pixie knows there is no Santa." Immy said with a bright smile.

Tedy smiled as she said she didn't want anything. "You know full well I'm going to get you something, aswell as Pixie. You might aswell just help me and get something you actually want"
