Reuben and Rudolf were back on best-brotherly terms with one another - and what better way to celebrate than a little pranking? Whilst the Hufflepuff had completely forgiven his twin for treating him like he didn't exist, it seemed only fair to even the tables by subjecting him to some humiliation of his own. And, as luck would have it, Reuben had managed to sneak a stink pellet into Rudolf's back pocket that morning. Suppressing his giggles as not to alert Rudolf to his presence, Reuben followed the Gryffindor up to the library, darting surreptitiously between pillars and statues and then eventually hiding behind a bookshelf. Through a gap between two leather volumes, Reuben would be able to watch the fun unfold. All Rudolf had to do was sit down...

Rudolf wasn't exactly behind in his studies, but he was certainly feeling nervous about his upcoming exams. With their difficulty increasing each year, the once cocky Gryffindor was finding it more and more of a challenge to keep up. He wasn't used to having to work so hard, and it was beginning to take its toll on his mood. Still, his friends kept his spirits lifted - and his brother, now that they'd made up again. Rudolf still felt guiltier for having ignored Reuben than he was willing to express in words, lest his pride be dented; but the Hufflepuff was forgiving, and Rudolf knew he had nothing to fear. Well. Thought he had nothing to fear. Books in arms, he sat down at a fairly well occupied table, in the process crushing the stink pellet in his pocket. Had it not been for the tissues and other lint he kept there, he might have felt the thing as he sat on it; but alas, it went undetected. That was, of course, until a strange smell began to emenate from his chair. Rudolf looked at the student next to him, assuming they were the culprit, and recoiled, slightly repulsed.
