"I'll get a hang of this." Quincy said as she was wandering around the hallway. It was her first time to be here, her brother didn't even bothered to let her visit during his years. Probably because he'd knew that Quincy would somehow like Durmstrang, it wasn't big like Hogwarts New Zealand but it was just enough for the students here. There were great things to be here, like being near to her family which she could visit them during the weekends. Though it was quite sad that her brother wasn't with her,if only she enrolled here during her first years of school. But the past is the past and all Quincy could do was be grateful that she was here. As she picked her dorm, she wondered if she had a dorm mate or something. But other than that it was the perfect day to just roam around the castle, see what she'd missed out for four years of her life.

Twirling her now dirty colored blonde hair, she saw several students practicing for Quidditch. "Perhaps I could join this year." she wondered. Unlike in Hogwarts she wasn't that active nor excited for school, the first years were great but after that everything seem to crash down. Now, that she's in a new school Quincy wondered if she could change thing and complete her persona. Everything changed after all, her hair, her height and her lifestyle. Who'd ever thought that her hair would be like her mothers, it wasn't really common but it did happened to her. Though it was quite a good thing that her brother graduated, Quincy could finally make her own name, even though they shared the same last name. The girl stood there nearby the window, touching the pane and glancing at the different student passing by.

Nikolina glared at the feet of essays scattered across her bed. A purple feathered quill rested behind her ear, another was poised in her hand, hovering over the latest sentence of her potions essay. She let out a long sigh of exhaustion. What little spare time she had had, she had used for completing assignments and studying. Surely it was time to let up and enjoy her life? She clicked her tongue in disapproval of herself, before shoving her homework aside and getting to her feet to pull on her neat black shoes. A moment later, Nikolina swept along the corridors of the castle, her eyes seeking out something of some interest. As she glanced this way and that during her travels, she caught sight of a girl about the same age as herself. She eyed her curiously.

She had never really had any friends during her school years. Or prior to them. Perhaps that was all down to her lack of social skills, or the fact that she had never really gone out of her way to bother with any of that friendship malarky? Whatever the case, she looked upon the girl as just another student to pass in the corridor. At least, she would have, had she not been curious as to what was capturing the girl's interest. Nikolina approached the window, standing a short distance behind the girl, attempting to peer at the exact same spot as the girl was looking at. It was no use, though. She couldn't see through her. She steadily walked further forwards, speaking to the girl as to not alarm her. "What are you looking at?" She stood in still silence, looking at the back of the girl's head.

Durmstrang was far different from Hogwarts, it wasn't big like it but somehow Quincy felt she was home. Even it means persuading her parents, she could sense that her decision would be worth it. As she was busy thinking about somethings and matters, she heard a voice coming from her behind. She remained still as a rock, at first she wondered if the best thing to do was ignore the stranger. But then she decided to see who it was. Quincy then slowly turned her attention and her body to the person, and found out it was a girl. She looked harmless, there was nothing intriguing at her at first sight. "Well obviously I'm looking at you right now, since you've asked." she replied quite sarcastic. Quincy was known for her words, for he sarcastic words that mostly made some people hate her more. But that didn't bother the girl, she knew she didn't need to befriend the whole planet.

There was a distinct accent on Quincy's voice, it was British English just like how people in London speak. She stared at her blankly, wondering if she'll go away or something. Quincy wasn't here to make friends, but to learn new things especially dark arts. Though it would be interesting to at least have one friend by her side, but that was somehow impossible due to her pessimistic approach to everyone. She was far different from her brother, father and mother. At time Quincy thought she was adopted or something, for being mean and heartless at times. The society probably changed her to be like this, perhaps there was a reason and most of all a purpose.
