Desislav was surprised that they let him do this again, especially since he always peeked at the messages ahead of time. It was his friend Thaddeus who was one of the people in charge, so that was probably why he'd been allowed to participate. This rose had made him laugh and had made him especially curious about who it was from. He had an idea, but it was only that. With a knock on the door, Desislav placed his hands in his pocket, trying to keep his face as neutral as possible.

Eduardo was busy at work so that he could take Kennedy out for a quick bit of supper before they had to return to the castle for an evening of chaperoning when he heard a knock at the door and so the busy man waved his wand to open the door and said, "Come in," barely looking up from his work while he waited though he was not feeling unfriendly. Just swamped but as he looked up to see an older student - one who was not in his classes - the man looked at him curiously. "What can I do for you Mr....?" Eduardo had to admit to not knowing who the boy was but hoped that he would forgive him if he was looking for advice about Astronomy.

"Zhefarovich, sir" he replied politely. The teen glanced around the room, never having been inside of it before. It distracted him for a moment before he returned to task. "Cool office, professor" he said before raising the bucket up and giving it a shake. "I've got one for you" he added before he lowered the bucket so he could pull out the rose that would belong to the man. "Here you go" he said, holding out a yellow rose and its accompanying note.
Professor Orbon,
I see great things in your future tonight.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Eduardo grimaced as the boy said his name, simply because he knew he could never pronounce it correctly. "Yes well... Anyway," he said, trying not to be impolite but he did struggle with Eastern European names. Dostoevsky and Tchaikovsky be damned. The man grinned and nodded at the compliment, ignoring how much of a mess the room was. "Being a professor has it's perks," he answered and then arched an eyebrow at the boy as he handed him a rose and a note, quickly reading it and going a deep crimson as he read the card from Kennedy. She was terribly good at making him flustered and the man was just this as he folded it carefully and looked back up at the boy a little gobsmacked. "Yes, thank you. Would you like a cup of tea or coffee for the road?" he asked trying to distract himself from the embarrassing and titillating note that Kennedy had gotten him.

Desislav watched the man's face, chuckling when he saw the professor went red. "Looks like it was a good card" Desislav joked, still chuckling a bit. As Professor Orbon thanked him, Desislav nodded his head, his eyes widening at the offer of coffee, a drink that was banned for him in particular in his house. Desislav loved coffee and the energy it gave him even though he crashed hard from it. "Coffee, yes please. Sir" he replied, eagerly awaiting that first sip.

Eduardo looked at the boy, feeling now certain that he had read it as well. He would certainly have to talk with Kennedy about this and figure out if this was the point to tell their higher ups for fear of public scrutiny but for now he made a coffee. Quickly he did so and offered milk and sugar to go with it, unaware that the boy was not supposed to have the drink as Eduardo could only assume he was at least a sixth year and fully capable of making these decisions by himself. "Do you enjoy doing these deliveries?" the man asked as he poured both of them a cup of coffee.

Only adding a little milk to his drink, Desislav held the take away cup in his hand, the delicious smell wafting into his nose. "Definitely. It's great fun, and I get to meet people I usually wouldn't even talk to." He couldn't wait and took a sip. Heaven. "Like you, professor. No offense, sir" he added quickly. He still had a few deliveries to make before he'd have to start getting ready for the dance.
