Eurydice had plans today. Of course, they were not big plans, but they were plans nonetheless. When she found out that Charms class would be taken with Gryffindors, she made up her mind that she was going to be cornering one Gryffindor boy today. It was simple, really; she wanted to see her friend and maybe have tea with her friend if they wanted to. But to have tea with her friend, she would have to ask a Cade first for permission because as it turns out, her friend is one house elf of the Cade family. Now, she remembers Mr. Dak being a free elf, which was absolutely amazing in Eurydice's opinion, but he also still served the Cade family. And it was generally frowned upon to attempt to call on another person's house elf. But right now, she wanted to spend time away from her cousins because frankly she'd seen more of them in a week than she has most of her life. And the classes were no fun at the moment. So she needed to relax. This is how she ended up practically throwing Jonah to Rose as soon as Charms class ended and running off to find one William Cade. "Williaaaaam! Wait up!" she called as soon as she got out of the classroom.

William was glad his first charms lesson was over, it had gone fine but he could only be in a classroom with his mother for so long. It was embarrassing, he felt mean for thinking it but it was, none of the other students had their parents teaching them. Well, except Bailey, he felt for Bailey, Uncle James was…a lot and he could only imagine what he was like as a teacher. William was barely paying attention as he left the classroom but he just about heard someone shouting his name so he stooped for her to catch up. “Eurydice right?

Eurydice was glad when her target had stopped long enough for her to catch up; thankfully, he hadn't gotten far because that would have been such a hassle. She was also quite pleased that he remembered her name, considering they'd only interacted once and only long enough for her to give her name and hit him with a barrage of questions. "Yeah, you remembered," she said with a bright smile. She wondered though if it was proper for her to make small talk before telling her of her request. He was a classmate, so at least that meant that he was also a step above other kids she'd had to meet at the occasional party. Her cousins don't count as other kids, so that meant she could always just tell them immediately what she wanted. She settled for something that was probably in the middle. "Are you gonna be doing anything right now? Or later?" There! That was small talk which would also be good for asking him about tea with Mr. Dak. Now that she asked him though, she should probably ask him if he wanted to join too because it would be rude not to when she asked him if he was busy?

"Of course, I never forget a pretty face," William grinned at her. It wasn't strictly true, Eurydice had an unusual name, at least compared to the names he was used to hearing so it stood out among the other first years he had met so far. "Uhm, no not really, why?" He asked. William didn't think they knew each other enough for her to ask him to hang out so he found it curious that she was asking about his plans. "Did you have something in mind?"
