Suprisingly, it had rained a lot this week, which was very uncommon for Febuary weather, it was supposed to be mostly dry during Febuary, but it wasn't, luckily, Xavier had better things to do than to lurk outside, he had a party explore and so far it had been a pretty good time. Drinks were going around like wild fire, he wasn't sure what they were, some Muggle soft drink, but they were pink and bubbly, so he wasn't sure what they were made of, maybe strawberries? He couldn't be sure, but he was going to try one anyway, it wasn't like he was going to die of food poisoning or anything. Xavier knew a few people that were here, but not many, since he was new to Durmstrang, he tried to be a social butterfly and meet everyone, but it turns out to be easier said than done, since it was quite cold for him and he found himself just stuck to the ground sometimes. Even though Durmstrang wasn't that cold, being a foreigner to the school, it was freezing to him, he wasn't used to it at all. He was glad that he met Aneliya, since she invited him to this, it was pretty cool, even if there was a mix of Muggles. Xavier wasn't prejudice or anything, muggles were fine by him, they were just really... odd, and he could never really hold a conversation with one because he'd either confused them by saying something, or they'd confuse him, that was never good. So, instead of mingling, like he usually would, Xavier found himself sitting at the kitchen counter, eating the cookies he had taken from the table. They were very nice, he'd have to make sure he found out who made these and married them or something.

Xavier pulled on his shirt as the party carried on, it was about six in the afternoon, and by looks of it, this party was going to go on until the early hours of the morning, which was good because there were a olt of cookies, which meant there was a lot of time to eat the cookies. Xavier really wanted to talk to someone, but it probably wasn't going to happen, for a chatterbox, he was suprisingly shy when it came to actually approaching people to talk, he usually waited until someone approached him, which wasn't usually too long, since he looked like a nice person that would bite someones head off, which was true to his personality completely.

<COLOR color="#000"> The last three days for Kiefer Antoinin had been extremely pleasant. Three days before, he met a girl who was his age that studied in Durmstrang as well. They talked for a few moments before the girl gave him her address whilst inviting him to her house party. As the usual minor party animal he was, resisting was out of the question. Three days passed swiftly and he found himself standing on the porch of the large house, eating some pizza with other muggles (or so he thought). Aneliya was there as well, looking radiant and pretty much alive because of the party. Kiefer chatted with a friend of hers, who seemed to give him a hint that they needed to see one another again. She was clingy which Kiefer disliked once he realized that she was one of those girls he wasn't into. Kiefer smiled and laughed whilst he gave her a vague excuse about his confusing schedule that he needed to deal with. The sixteen year old resumed talking with Aneliya's friends who were eager to have a conversation with him. All of them were pretty in their own ways but none were stunning enough to capture his full attention. He gave them grins, winks and even shared a few corny jokes of his. Fortunately, they giggled along and flirted with him occasionally. None of them were exactly tiring to accompany but Kiefer felt that he needed to move away. His presence was needed elsewhere.

Excusing himself, Kiefer made his way to the living room where a mixture of females and males were. All of them were lounging on the sofas, eating pizza and some even had a pint of ice cream. The guys had video games with them, but Kiefer did not exactly understand the concept of it. It was strange staring at some box that gave games. Video games, as they called it. It was sort of American, but he supposed that Aneliya's family was influenced by the American muggle technology. Kiefer took a slice of pizza from the box and he was pleased to know that it was just delivered a few minutes ago. Kiefer bit on it and savored its flavor before leaning on the staircase whilst watching some people laugh. He caught the eye of a pretty brunette who seemed bored watching the video games. He approached her discreetly and said, "I had the impression that girls loved video games as well." He joked with obvious sarcasm whilst he showed off a small smile. They talked about the subject and he found out that her name was Karylle, which suited her nicely. Kiefer thought that she was a muggle because of her wide knowledge about video games. He tried to catch up with all the terms she used that were alien to him but gave up eventually.

It was time to make a move. Kiefer was sure that he spent almost fifteen minutes talking about video games, which wasn't something he enjoyed. He smiled and laughed whenever she grumbled about her disinterests but then made another excuse that he will be heading to the kitchen. Kiefer slipped away from her company, a bit dizzy with all the muggle things they discussed. Muggle electronics was a topic he dreaded about and he always tried to find a girl who wasn't exactly into muggle electronics. Kiefer walked his way to a counter that separated the kitchen from the living room only to see a guy his age eating some sweets there. A box of pizza was there as well and a pitcher with some plastic cups was only few meters away. He approached him casually and uttered, "Enjoying the party?" He looked at the guy who was about his age, and wondered why the hell did he look so familiar. Kiefer thought he saw him in Durmstrang, but asking him and taking the risk was dangerous. It was unfortunate for him that he was still in the age of sixteen. Magic outside school was strictly prohibited or else the Ministry would probably contact his father to get him expelled. "Did you try the pizza? Best thing I've tasted after almost a month." It was exaggerated, but Kiefer was somewhat honest with his topic starter. The food in Durmstrang was delicious, yes, but some of it did not match his likes for food. Bulgarian food was often served and Kiefer usually craved for American things to eat.

Xavier was growing slightly bored, and he thought about leaving, because he was quite bored and figity. Usually he'd just wait for people to talk to him, but this time it seemed that he might have to put himself out there and talk to someone, but he hadn't done that in seemingly forever, so he wasn't entirely sure how to start something with people, especially since he knew nothing about Muggles, and wouldn't really know what to say to one, except 'hi', but then what? He couldn't talk about fun stuff, like Quidditch, because they'd think he needed to be checked into a funny-farm. Xavier looked up when he was addressed by someone, a guy around his age. With a shrug, Xavier nodded, why sound like a party-pooper? "Yeah, it's... nice." What else was he going to say? That he didn't under stand half the things people were talking about and that he'd rather be on a broom flying around, rather than sitting with a bunch of cookies and sweets around him? Looking at the guy closely, but making sure he didn't seem to be staring, Xavier noted that he looked familiar, possibly from school, or a school he'd gone to, but he couldn't be sure because he was knew to Durmstrang, and he had been to many other schools before Durmstrang, so he had met a lot of people, so he couldn't be positive of where he'd met, or seen this boy before. Prehaps in France? Or maybe Italy? Or maybe this was the first time they'd officially met, and this boy just happened to look like someone Xavier knew.

Xavier was slightly confused by the boys question, since he had no idea what pizza was, it wasn't a dish he had regularly. Looking about the counter, Xavier soon found what the boy was talking about. Pizza. It looked nice, but Xavier couldn't be one hundred percent sure, sometimes food just wasn't good enough for him. "No actually, I'm not sure about the flavour." He explained Xavier knew enough about pizza to know that it came in half a bazillion flavours, so he used that as a cover. With a quick flip of his fringe, Xavier cleared his mind and smiled slightly. "So anyway. My name's Xavier Grimm, but you can call me Zavy if you like." He said cheerfully, his more talkative side coming out, now that he realised that this person was most likely going to stick around for a conversation, he hoped so anyway. "So what have you been up to around here? Done anything particularly fun?" Xavier usually skipped steps when talking to people, because he tended to forget that he didn't know everyone and not everyone knew him, but he just couldn't help but be over friendly with people, it was a habit that he didn't want to give up anytime soon.

Kiefer was having difficulty distinguishing the faces he had seen in his life. A good bunch of them were girls whose faces were pretty enough for his liking. The girls he usually conversed with were either coy or mysterious and sometimes, both. He liked girls that had both traits because of the challenge that their personality offered. Although it was the ladies that were mostly in his mind, he still had a small portion in his brain that kept the names of his close male friends which pretty much had a good amount of names. None of them weren't really a best pal of his, since some were lazy bummers whilst the rest were nerds and bastards. Kiefer surprisingly got along with them, and he did his best to just ride along with their unique attitudes that he sometimes mistook as an unfortunate gift. The teenager's silvery eyes gazed upon the other teenager's, and Kiefer cocked his head to the side when he heard such a gloomy response. "Not looking awkward around the girls?" He teased lightly, hoping to lift up his companion's spirits. But then not all were party lovers. Kiefer was fond of parties, especially those that contained both genders in the same place. Most of the parties that he had attended were usually like that. The guys were fun company, no matter what place they came from. At least Kiefer could hold up a conversation with them for a decent good amount of time. The only people he had difficulty talking to were the nerds, who rarely came across him during parties. In fact, he doubted that the nerds actually attended these events.

Introductions were already set, and Kiefer thought that he should as well give his name to the guy. His mind made a quick scan on the males he knew back at Durmstrang and the last name - Grimm it was - did seem familiar for a distant reason. Every morning, the teenager usually had a class to attend and he was certain that one of his professors called out a person whose surname was Grimm. His first name was nice, although the nickname did not really match Kiefer's liking. Who kind of guy had a nickname of Zavy? But then, Kiefer had no intention of expressing his reaction to Xavier Grimm, at all. "I'm Kiefer, Kiefer Harris. Any chance that you attend a boarding school?" The question was anything but related to magic which he carefully hid behind his question. He kept a casual posture and he even leaned on the counter, getting a small piece of chocolate from a nearby tray. He had a feeling that if he were hungry, the tray of sweets would be finished in no time. Kiefer kept his silver eyes locked on the piece of chocolate whilst his fingers did the work of trying to get the wrapper off. To reveal Durmstrang to anyone was something that was across the line, and risking it could be mean serious consequences. However, the tall teenager knew how to ask without getting any serious about the subject. "I just talked to some people around. You know, mingling and eating." Being around people was not really a big deal for someone like the sixteen year old, especially when he was in the mood to act coy around the ladies. Some people had the impression that he was a shy guy when he was the exact opposite. Rebelling was also fun, though he usually avoided being a rebel whenever he had no one to back up for him. "Found anything interesting? Back in the living room, the video games were ringing in my ears." Kiefer had not really studied the main purpose of what video games were for, but so far his main guess was that it just mainly gave entertainment to people around his age that acted immaturely. Muggles had a crazy way of inventing stuff and the wizard could not really relate at all.
