Crystal felt always she needed some time to let her homesickness fade away. It was getting beter every year as she came back to Hogwarts but she missed her parents also. So hoped that she would have some fun stuff to take of her mind. But for that she started with something like an book, as she sat down in the student lounge. The white blonde tried to not look sad or lonely as she sat there on her own with her care of magical creatures book. That also helped, because she was excited about the class she would have this year. She started with her book and tried to look an bit around to see if people weren't thinking she would be the standard Ravenclaw girl with her book, so she closed it again because she felt stupid and just looked around.

Louis was bored and was looking for something to do. There was no homework to do yet, not that he was likely to do it if he had any. He didn't know where Caleb and René were, but he had the unsettling feeling they were hanging out without him. Louis stuck his head into the student lounge, scanning the room for his friends. He didn't spot René and Caleb, but he did see Crystal sitting by herself. She looked rather lost, even though she was sitting with a book in her hands. Louis headed over to her and dropped himself on the couch next to her. "Hey, you." He said, plucking the book out of her hand and looking at the cover. "Magical creatures, as expected." He joked.

The blonde watched around her with her book at her lap. She was excited for the class where she would actually work with magical creatures, but she was curious which they would be handeling. When she heard an voice which sound familliar and watched Louis sitting next to her. He took her book away and she let it happen. She smiled shortly and blushed as he made the comment of her book. '' Hey Louis..'' She than said. And than smiled. '' Yeah. Are you taking the class this year?'' She asked him curious if he had interest in them, it had to when they went out to search for something.

Louis leafed through the book he had grabbed from Crystal, smiling a bit. Then he handed it back to her, closed. "Instead of reading about them, we could be finding some in the forest." He told her, raising his eyebrows slightly. "Or the lake." At her question, Louis nodded. "It's one of the few classes that doesn't seem too boring." He said. He wasn't as into magical creatures as Crystal was, but he still liked them. "Good to know we have at least one class together." He added casually.
