Eduardo felt like things were running quite smoothly in his professional life but more than that his personal life was all in all quite nice too and so the man was happy to pour himself a cup of tea and sit reading the morning paper. Though there were mixed reviews in the paper (as there always was bad news to report) the man was fairly happy despite it all. It seemed nothing could ruin his good mood and he would be even happier to see Kennedy this morning - even if they had to be perfectly professional in these settings. It made for complex settings but he felt it was do-able although his friend, Jucinda, doubted him but she would have to be proved incorrect because there was nothing too difficult. It had been a slow moving few months but it was a great few months although lately she seemed more worried in the school setting for reasons Eduardo could only put down to wanting to wade off any rumours about them which he was glad to say none had been shared past Jon and Maurice both of whom would take it to their graves happily. So yes, things were good. He only had to worry about his upcoming trip with his sixth years which would be fairly simple as it was such a small class size.

Alaric felt like he was adjusting well to being a teacher, although it wouldn't be long before he was back in the real world and figuring out where he went from there. His job had actually turned out to involve more than he had originally planned for, teaching the older year students had proved more challenging but he was enjoying it so far. Truth was Alaric would be sad when he left the school in a few weeks. With classes done for the day Alaric made his way down from his office to the Professors common room. By his own admission, Alaric had not socialised enough with his new colleagues, part of him felt like there was little point as he would soon be gone and not see any of them again. Alaric walked into the common room and made himself a cup of tea, opting to do it manually rather than using magic. There was only one other person in the classroom, he wasn't sure what subject the man taught but he had seen him in the staff meeting at the beginning of the semester. "Classes done for the day?" He asked the man.

Eduardo looked up pleasantly at someone he recognized to be a new professor though the name escaped him as did the subject. "Not quite," he said as his classes were all at odd hours due to the nature of Astronomy. "My sixth years are going to China for a lecture, I've been preparing for that," he explained but shrugged it off. They'd all done their own classes in their youths so it wasn't necessary to discuss as professionals during off time. "I don't believe I caught your name," Eduardo asked but forgot to volunteer his own at the same time.
