Closed In Need Of A Break

Freya felt like she had been working non-stop lately. Things had been a bit hectic since one of her co-workers, well ex-co-worker now, had made a pretty big mistake and she was left to deal with it. Not that she was complaining, she was happy to get the job and she knew she would be able to make things right again, it just had been a lot more work than she had anticipated when she started it. She had been spending a lot of time at the office in Norway and had to deal with things that were different from her normal activities. It had also meant she was away from home more than she usually was and she actually felt slightly bad for leaving Asaiah on his own like that, but the sooner she could get things sorted the sooner she'd be back to her normal, more casual activities. She just wasn't there yet. One of the positives of spending more time around the offices in Norway was that she had actually managed to make a couple of friends amongst other employees. One of them she had actually gone to school with. Gabriella had been two years below her and although Freya had never interacted or in all honesty felt the need to interact with her back at school she had now found that they actually hit it off pretty well. It had been a surprise to her as she didn't think they'd get along, but somehow they did. At school she might have thought the other girl to come off as arrogant whilst now Freya thought she actually seemed more troubled than anything else. She wasn't one to pry though. Nevertheless, the young adult desperately needed a break and decided to swing by Gabriella's workplace to see if she wanted to tag along. "Hey." Freya gave her a little smile as she walked up to her. "Do you want to get out of here for a second, get lunch or something?" She asked her, motioning towards the door. "Don't know about you but I could use a break. Only if you can leave right now, of course."

Gabriella had been taking a risk. She had been contacting her sister Lauren with a letter but in some way Marcos had shown her without even knowing of the situation of telling her something that she needed to do something. Marcos was just a better person than she was. And Gabriella wanted to be better. And she and her work were getting worse if she lived with that guilt everytime. And she was glad to have gotten a letter back from Lauren. She knew that things were not too much out of hand than. Gabriella was scared of what would happen to her. But she was just not brave, to say something against her parents. And she figured that, that would not even help Lauren. So she had tried to motivate Lauren to get help. And she would reach out again later, to see if things were better. Lauren needed to get out of that house. That was something that was sure. ​

The blonde liked her work at the Ministry in Norway. She worked at the same department where her father was head of. Ofcourse he had planned it that way, he could still have control over her than. And Gabriella was getting tired of it. Not that she shown that too much to her father, her boss. She still wanted to do good work. But she felt that Marcos was getting suspicious of stuff. Gabriella sitting at her desk was just daydreaming a bit about all the stuff going through her head. She could not focus. Than Freya her colleague came along and asked if she wanted to go lunching or a break. And actually that was what she could use. Freya was an kind person and her father was positive about her as she was a hard worker as well. Gabriella kind of waked up of her daydreaming and smiled shortly. '' Hey Freya.'' The blonde than answered. Gabriella had a moment of I don't care what my father would say. And she deserved a break. This was not gonna work. '' Actually I can. Shall we go and sit outside? I could use some air.'' The blonde than said and figured it was a good time to get to know Freya better. Perhaps talking about her helped a bit. And seeing how her life was. Gabriella stood up and looked around in the office. Her father's office was close to her working place. But he was away she knew, he had an meeting with the Ministry of France.​

Freya was happy that Gabriella agreed to get out of the office for a little break. She knew t he girl's father was head of their department and always felt like their was some sort of tension between Gabriella and their boss. Personally, she had always gotten along with the man. She was a hard worker and always wanted to get things right, which luckily for her he seemed to appreciate. However, the work relationship between Gabriella and her dad looked more complicated, which was why she asked the other girl if she could even come in the first place. "Yeah, definitely." Freya smiled when Gabriella proposed to not only leave to office but leave the entire building and just go outside for a little while. "Same, being locked up inside starts to feel suffocating at times." She agreed with her, happy to get some fresh air. Freya didn't mind the office work but she had noticed that she definitely needed to get out of it at a few times a day if she wanted to keep her sanity. "So," She started as she took a seat on one of the benches near the building once they had made it out. "What's it like working for your dad? It seems.. intense." She asked as she smiled at her, hoping she wouldn't find the question intrusive.
