In a hurry

Alex ran frantically up the twisted staircase. She was due to meet her friend, and knew she would be cross with her.
She reached the corridor, panting, and scanned for her. She wasn't there. She rolled her eyes. After all that effort, she thought to herself.
Maybe she's at the other end?

She started to run blindly down the corridor, not focusing on her surroundings. Suddenly, she crashed straight into someone, sending herself flying. She stood up, preparing to let out a few apologies, until she saw him and couldn't get her words out.

'I.. I'm sorry.' She muttered quickly, unsure if they had heard.

Teddy was walking calmly down the seventh floor corridor when he heard fast footsteps coming his way. He looked up, trying to see where they were coming from, but he was hit by something. It hit pretty fast, enough for him to wobble but he didn't fall over. Though he had given up rugby now, he still had some of the abilities, like standing your ground.


Teddy looked at the floor, seeing what had hit him so hard. On the floor was a girl, his year he guessed. He watched as she looked up and muttered a quick sorry. He held out his hand, ready to help her stand up, and grinned. "You all right there?"
