The sun was setting at Hogwarts, and it was beginning to give Lynette the creeps. The candles had somehow lit themselves as the light had dimmed outside, and things she hadn't yet noticed were coming to life, and she didn't like it. Hurrying along through the many corridors, Lynny thought back on her day. She'd made a friend, which was a bonus, as she hadn't expected to so quickly, but she was a lot older than Lynette, which was upsetting. It seemed only older students took an interest in her, as though they wanted her as a pet. Lynny frowned, clutching her school books to her chest slightly angrily and climbing up two more flights of winding stairs before making it to yet another, very similar corridor. She had to hold in her groan of impatience as she peered down the candle lit corridor, only to see a couple of older students mingling outside what seemed to be another room. Lynette let out a sigh, and slowly walked past them, before it dawned on her that she was well and truly lost.
What a day, Lynette thought to herself as she slumped herself down on the small stone bench, next to an interesting sculpture which she couldn't quite identify. Books on her lap, Lynette buried her head in her hands and closed her eyes. She needed to be in her dormitory soon, or she'd be in trouble on her first day - something which was very daunting. She wasn't at all somebody who enjoyed getting into trouble, and she knew how much she'd blush when people saw her being scolded by a professor, and once again, Lynny felt like a small, helpless animal. Students walked past her, not really recognizing that there was a young student sitting to the side of them, and she realized that nobody was going to help her find her way unless she asked, which was something which she never did, she was far too shy. She decided then that maybe just this once, she'd have to get into trouble, or she'd end up finding her way into an even deeper problem when she was lost further into the giant castle.
