Percy let a huge yawn. His father had just came back to their house, catching his breath and commanded Percy to find his little sister. Percy rolled his eyes and stood up lazily from his seat. Normally, he would argue with his father but his father had just got out from an argument with Percy's little sister, Arya. Percy went out of the house without a single word. He was too tired to talk. He was tired of all the drama Arya has been doing for the past days. Not eating, not talking to anybody, not even playing her favorite game in the world; skipping rope. Arya has been acting so distant lately. Percy thinks it's because her favorite sibling, Andrea isn't going to be there for the holidays but he suspects something more complicated. Percy doesn't care though. He just suspects something fishy. Percy rubbed his eyes. It was just nine in the morning and the Kelize family were just having breakfast until Arya burst and started protesting about how Audrey got this and that. Percy thinks it's main insecurity so he doesn't really care about the situation.

Percy marched up on the streets, looking for his lost little sister. He wasn't enthusiastic and felt like he didn't know what he was doing. He lazily walked the streets of their neighborhood and looked around in hopes to find at least a silhouette. But no silhouette appeared right on his vision. He sighed and kicked a garbage can that was innocently sitting near a wall. He was now regaining his old self was beginning to get annoyed of things. Annoyed of Arya, of his parents and of Andrea. "If only Poop Face was here", he muttered tiredly as he pinched himself for saying that. He has not been in friendly terms with Andrea and the two normally tease and trick each other. Without Andrea around, Percy felt miserable. He doesn't like the job of being responsible. He let out one of his swear words and sat at an empty bunk near the neighborhood's bakery. He sat to catch his breath and decided that he'll stay for a while.

Killua had just gone from another family mission. It was good that there were lesser people these days asking his family to kill someone. Well, who can blame him? He came from a family of assassins, what more to expect than the youngest being one as well. He was tired and he decided to leave home for the moment. He walked around the streets not caring where his feet were bringing him. Right now, he just wanted to be away from his family.

The young boy found himself in an alley, which he didn't know where. No problem. He would just call a butler from home and fetch him. Leaning his back against the wall, the young boy closed his eyes and started to rest. But his resting had been interrupted by a boy who kicked the garbage can. The boy may have not noticed, but most of the trash had ended up on Kil's feet. And he was not happy about it. He decided to shadow the boy who kicked the garbage can, and he seemed not to have noticed Kil's presence. He entered a bakery, and the young boy followed. Killua approached him and looked at him with cold eyes. "You might want to apologized for something?" he said in a very cold voice not caring who the boy was.

The smell coming from the bakery was overwhelming. The smell of those delicious delicacies and breads were just difficult to ignore. The smell made Percy sigh. Her father once worked in a bakery. Unfortunately, he was fired for something he did not even do. The family would totally love to bring him justice but the money was the problem. The family decided to abandon the matter and to focus on future things like how would his father get another job. He has been exploring the city lately, in hopes to find a decent job but none was coming at the moment. This made the family’s situation harder. With eight mouths to feed including himself, Percy’s father was feeling desperate into finding a job. Her mother was helping, of course. She started taking part time jobs. Even their aunt, Caroline. She had been feeling a bit embarrassed lately that the family had to worry about her daily needs. She had just moved in with the Kelizes last year for she had nowhere to live because she just had a previous divorce. She decided to move in another place and thanked the Kelizes for their hospitality but Percy’s mother hesitated. She did not want her sister living off some random place. She nagged Caroline to stay and eventually succeeded. Percy stared at the doughnuts displayed in the bakery desperately. Those doughnuts were just so irresistible; Percy would give in anything for a bite of those delicious doughnuts.

He began reaching for his pocket. A grin escaped his lips when he found two quarters. He entered the bakery and stared at the doughnuts. They were expensive like any other delicious delicacy and Percy did not have the exact amount of money to purchase one. And this is a bakery, he couldn’t just haggle the price. He sighed and began canvassing through the others. Finally he found something worth the exact amount of money he has and settled in for that food. They were small, bite sized little dough things. Percy had never tasted it before so he decided to give it a try. He gave the saleswoman his money and pointed at his choice. The woman nodded and put his order in a small paper bag. He handed Percy his food and smiled at him. Percy smirked and grabbed the food. He grabbed the dough thingy and popped it into his lips. “Mhm. Yum” He said as he chewed on the dough. Just then a boy came to him and asked in a very cold voice. “Uh..” He said, as he observed the boy. He was very dirty and looked irritated. Obviously, he did not like the fact that Percy kicked the trash can. Percy gave him a weird look. Percy was tired. He did not want any arguments. All he wants is to continue eating his dough thingy. “Sorry” He replied, timidly.

Kil continued staring coldly at the boy. Not that he was forcing himself to do it, but, it just came out naturally for him. But, he didn't care what others thought about him. Maybe, only what his friends would think. That is, if he was even able to make friends. Take the situation for example, he continues to look at others with his menacing, cold eyes so kids his age continue to fear him. But the situation right now really surprised him. The boy who had kicked the garbage can just apologized timidly. Like he didn't even care about Kil. It irritated him, but it made him interesting in the said boy. Because, normally, others, even his family, would be in fear when he's really mad. "Fine," he said in a heartless tone.

Kil had heard his stomach grumble, he was definitely hungry. He took a seat opposite from the boy's. "I'd join you," he said calmly. He took a look at what that boy is eating. What was it? What was it made of? He had no idea. "What are you," he paused, "eating?" he asked his tone not changing the least bit. He was curious. He hadn't really had anything like it before, even those sold in the bakery were not familiar to him. Curiosity had lit up in the young assassin's mind, but his expression nor his eyes didn't show the least bit of it.

Percy did not care. He was too busy with his dough food. He ignored all of those menacing looks the boy kept giving him. He rolled his eyes when he saw his expression. He already said sorry. What more does he want? Percy shrugged and continued eating. Man, these doughy thingies were awesome. Percy finished the first one and began digging for another. It chocolate filling tasted like heaven which reminded Percy of his father's previous job. He rolled his eyes. He knew perfectly well that it wasn't his father's fault. He was still mad at his father for giving up easily but he decided to let the problem go. An annoying child he is, he doesn't want any more problems in his and his family's life. Hearing the boy's cold voice made Percy smirk. Percy was used to the tone of voice. He always hears it from Andrea.

Percy smirked again when the boy sat next to him. He was not expecting that. He continued on chewing his food while he waited for the boy's next actions. Percy shrugged when the boy said he'd join Percy. Honestly, he does not want any annoyances but the boy seemed okay. Hearing the boy's next words made Percy hesitate. He chewed slowly as he looked at the little circle thing on his hand. "I don't know." He said. "Dough, I guess" He added. "Want some?" He offered. Now, this was new. Normally, he wouldn't be so generous. He just did not care of his actions. He knew another problem was crowding his family now but he wanted to go away and run from it.

Kil continued to be interested in the boy in front of him. It was like he didn't care about the world around him. A carefree person, it was something Kil wanted to be someday. Not having to kill someone at least every two weeks or so. He was sick of it already and he wished it would just stop. As he sat there waiting for the boy's reply, he was quite surprised to know that he didn't even know what he was eating. "How could you eat something you don't know?" he said coldly, facial expressions not changing. Killua wondered how it would turn out if he continued to be truly cold around the boy. "How would it turn out?" he thought to himself.

"Dough? What's that?" he asked as the boy offered him some. The young assassin hesitated but took a small piece and ate it. It was good, but he still continued to wonder what dough was. He didn't know much besides killing, he really didn't go to a muggle school. His parents told him that he would only go to a wizard school and it would be when he was eleven. "You. What do your parents do?" he asked while chewing the piece he was eating. He was curious about the boy and he wanted to know about his parents. He wanted to know from which parent the boy's traits came from. He was curious about the boy who didn't fear the cold look in his eyes.

Percy savored every bite of the dough. It was rather sweeter than he expected but he did not care. He was oblivious to his surroundings now and did not care whether he finds his sister or not. He just kept on munching like there was no tomorrow. But he cannot avoid the fact that memories kept gushing on his young mind. Memories of his father's old work. When he used to bake different varieties of delicacies. Percy always loved it when he bakes something. His father was an excellent baker, he doesn't doubt that and to him, almost everything he creates is perfect. The only thing he disapproves of is whenever his father bakes a whole tray of pumpkin pie everyday back when Andrea was still at home. He founds it unfair the he kept on baking Andrea's favorite food while he rarely bakes Percy's cookies. Percy made a face when he heard the boy's question. It was rather ridiculous but Percy knew he had a point. "Well, I just base on it's looks. And I think I saw it before. Just don't know the name" He replied casually with a gentle shrug on his skinny shoulders.

Percy thought for a moment. He was not in his mind now for he wanted to go elsewhere. He was no boy of random information nor he was a boy of knowledge. "Uhh. Some soft thing that bakers use to bake bread, I think" He said doubtfully. He really did not what 'dough' was but he knew it's purpose. Percy winced at the boy's second question. He was not really comfortable whenever he talks about his parents' jobs. He was ashamed of his parents' job especially his mother's. "Uhhh....My dad...he's uh.....baker. Yep he is. And my mom....she's...a..helper. Yes. At huge mansion." He exaggerated.

Kil carried on with observing the boy. He seemed to really like what he was eating. Unlike Kil, who still wasn't sure if her should continued eating it or not. "If you just base it on looks, how would you ever know if it would suit your taste or not?" he asked curiously. Well, Killua might be an assassin, but he was also a ten-year-old boy, who is filled with curiosity. "You wouldn't be sure, right?" he told the boy. His curiosity can't be helped, after all, if you're an assassin, it wouldn't be necessary to ask about such things in front of your parents with the same profession.

With the information the boy gave him, he understood almost nothing. "Can't you give a more specific meaning than that?" he told the boy with a cold voice. He wanted to instantly know on what it was and he could probably ask one of their cooks to bake one for him sometime. "Baker? The one who makes these? And a helper," he repeated the boy's words with cold eyes. But another question filled up the young boy's mind. "What does she help with? Bodyguard? Cleaning? Cooking? Driver? The actual job of the employer?" he asked, his questions went on and on. He looked at the boy with a serious expression and cold eyes as he waited for the boy's answer.

Percy ignored the looks the boy kept giving him and continued to eat his food without any distractions. Percy took a quick glance to determine if the boy was enjoying his food like Percy. Percy rolled his eyes when he looked unsure of it. Percy winced when he heard the boy. Damn, he's stupid, he thought. "That's why we have tongues right? To determine if we like the food or not?" He explained clearly and timidly. This boy seemed to be completely oblivious on what's going on on the world today and Percy forgave him. Not a usual trait of his but he's just to timid to realize what he's acting now. The boy asked a question again and Percy sighed when he realized it would be answered by his previous answer. "I told you. Just taste it. If your taste buds like it, then you like it but if they don't, you don't. Simple as that" He explained again.

Percy scratched his head when he heard the boy's response. He does not really know more information about dough. "Sorry but I'm not a dictionary. If you like some more information then go approach the baker there." He said timidly as he pointed at the bakery. He nodded when he heard the boy. "Something like those" Percy replied. He did not add his mother's real job for he was ashamed of it.
