Aisa had almost been tempted to sit out this dance, but it would be her final one at Hogwarts and it felt like a shame. She also didn't want to let Ajax down, not at her final Accio event. Her intern was fine, but she was a first year and Aisa didn't quite feel confident letting her do everything. She also seemed more excited about the dance than Aisa was, so she might as well let they younger girl enjoy herself while Aisa busied herself taking photos. But even as she took pictures of her classmates having fun, her gaze kept scanning the crowd for Sully and Chloë, feeling a knot in her stomach. Valentine's Day had been the ultimatum she had given Sully for telling Chloë Aisa had kissed him before she would do it herself. She really hoped he would do it tonight, because Aisa really didn't want to. Even if she knew that was slightly unfair, seeing as she had kissed Sully. But it also hadn't seemed fair to tell Chloë without giving Sully the chance to do it first.
Aisa sighed, lowering her camera. She needed a break. Making sure she could keep Sully and Chloë in her line of sight, she made her way to one of the snack tables and poured herself something to drink. She had barely looked up from her camera all night, and seeing all the couples together just made her feel vaguely sad. She decided to focus on the falling rose petals, wondering if anyone else was having as miserable a night as her.
