[Marama Te Rangi]

Marama had never been on a date before, but with the Yule Ball coming up she couldn't quite get her mind off one of her new housemates. Fourth year was a fairly good age to start dating, and if she was going to ask someone out, she couldn't think of anyone other than Alicia that she would want it to be. She knew when Rāwhiti scheduled Quidditch practices, and as much as she didn't want to be around her brother when he was so bummed out, she also knew this would be the most reliable way of tracking Alicia down. She was relieved when the older girl beat Rāwhiti out of the pitch so she wouldn't have to admit to her brother why she was there, quickly making a beeline for Alicia. "Hey!" She said a little too cheerfully, heart fluttering with nerves. "Good practice?"

Alicia still hadn't entirely gotten used to the different seasons here in New Zealand, but she was appreciating the start of summer. It had been nice to play out in the sunshine today. She headed away from the pitch and back to the castle, when suddenly Marama caught up with her. Alicia smiled, glancing back to see if Rāwhiti was here. At first, she assumed the girl was here for her brother. But as they fell into step, Alicia smiled. Maybe Marama was here to see her? "Hey, it was alright." She said. "I always love playing, even in practice." She added with a small shrug. The mood at practice hadn't been great, but at least they had gotten to play. "Did you come here just to talk to me?" She asked, somewhat teasingly.
